Upon check in the lady was very friendly. Our room was very very hot. Miserable to try to sleep. The baby needed some milk and the guy at the bar gave us a dirty glass with milk in it. It was stuck on the inside of the glass so the baby had no milk. Upon check out a different lady assisted us. She asked how our stay was yet did not seem to care at all. Not even apologizing about the room being so unbearably hot and argued with us that the dirty spots all in the milk was part of the glass. Which it was not. There are plenty of other nice hotels around so I would not recommend this one. We were traveling with the baby and apparently there are only certain times you can access the spa areas with little ones. We came in too late and missed the short window of time then the next morning had to get up and leave before the next short window where we could have even gone so they do make it hard to even get to utilize the spa and you don’t realize this when booking.

Nice modern hotel in a surprising rural setting. Bedroom and bathroom both spacious and nicely furnished (with bath and separate shower). Good restaurant and extensive breakfast selection (gravadlax and cheese board were highlights). Great to have use of the swimming pool.

A place to be

Is the third time we stay in that hotel. Everything is perfect. Breakfast buffet was managed to avoid any possible contamination while keeping a large choice. Rooms cleaned every day.Reception and fast gentle no issues.
Dont forget the possibilities in the area walkin, kayak and more. Visit Durbuy at walking distance.

Modern style hotel that seems geared towards groups or events. We booked primarily due to a spa section. However this was partially out of order and small things like towels in the pool area was not provided. Overall it felt rather lacking in terms of service and standard.

Good place to stay without a car as not far from station and good walks from hotel.
Clean and comfortable rooms.
They moved us without a problem when noisy building work started nearby.
Food ok but a bit overpriced. Book in town as gets busy.

Upscale 4 stars hotel. Very clean, rooms are big with aircon, fridge, dryer., safe. Staff is friendly and polite . Hotel itself is in a beautiful area, surrounded by green but close to town. Lots of activities around. Swimming pool and, jacuzzi and sauna included. The hotel would appeal to any category, couples or families with children. Food is excellent. Price is fair and you get a lot for the money. Perfect holiday.

Nice Pool, great spa. Room for myself, my wife and 15 year old daughter. just make sure that you let the counter staff know that your child is not an infant if a teenager. Hotels.com did not pass this information on to the hotel

Should be so much better

When you book a 4* hotel you expect the service to meet the rating, but at the Azur en Ardennes this is not the case (in our experience anyway). No towels on arrival, the shampoo dispenser empty for two days, the beds not made, cleaning not thorough (found a room card under a chair from a week ago). The restaurant service was no better, ages to bring drinks and take the order, plates from the main course left in front of us for AN HOUR, no dessert menu offered. The food we had was good though.
However through all this shone a ray of light; the lady on the front desk, who singlehandedly was fixing the problems, keeping everything under control and organising just about everything.

This hotel should be receiving high scores and others have given it a 5 rating, the management needs to get a grip of its staff as they are do not offer the standard of service expected.

I provided feedback on check out, so the concerns we had are known to the hotel. Will it change? Based on other reviews I've seen from the last 12 months, I fear not, which is a shame because the ingredients for a fabulous hotel are all there.

Student accomodation with great swimming pool

The hotel is set in a fantastic location with a great swimming pool and fantastic views. However, the accomodation is very basic with a pool table right next to the bedrooms which means you hear the balls smash against each other all night - well 2am at least which is when I finally managed to sleep.

On the first night I ordered rack of lamb from the restaurant which took two hours to arrive. When it did finally arrive I could see that it had been cooked for that entire time. It wasn't pink inside it was mushy brown - they had stewed it. It was the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant.

Probably a nice hotel in winter...

Room temperature unbearable. After some days of hot weather, it was painful the idea of returning to the hotel where it was impossible to cool the room down, despite the fact that it was raining and outside temperature was below 20 Celsius...
This spoiled our holidays despite the good atmosphere in general.

I booked this as accommodation for the August bank holiday weekend as we were going to the Grand Prix.

At the time I booked it it was the closest available accommodation, so I was a little concerned, however upon arrival realised it was all going to be ok.

I have given them 4 for a couple of reasons, if you are used to the added extras (shampoos/ body lotions etc, hair dryer) in your room you may miss them, but other than that it was great. Everything else you could possible want free wifi, comfortable bed, very clean and superb service.

I was really very impressed, especially the staff who were fantastic literally nothing was an issue for them, the food was very good, the gin and tonics were about the best I have ever had, but the service was without question the best I have experienced in a long time - Cedric in the restaurant was simply wonderful!!

Will be back!

Alles war super, das Restaurant war schon teuer, aber was soll´s. Leider werden auch Radrennfahrer aufgenommen. Die können dann, wie im Verkehr, unangenehm laut und egoistisch werden. Aber es besteht nicht die Möglichkeit das Rad mit in den Pool zunehmen oder an die Bar. Beim Frühstück hatten sie auch nicht die ekelige Radlerhose an. Also Top Hotel.

Un soggiorno sereno

Hotel moderno con piscina sito in zona tranquilla. Ho trovato la camera pulita ad eccezione di una macchia di poco conto sulla moquette. Molto apprezzata la cassaforte. Il letto era confortevole e altrettanto la scrivania dove mi sono dedicato al back office quotidiano.
Il bagno era pulito e funzionale e di mio gradimento.
Il personale è stato veramente gentile e premuroso riguardo ad ogni mia esigenza.
Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato piacevole e sarò felice di tornare quando tornerò in zona.

L’hôtel est très agréable. Dans un écrin de verdure, cela fait du bien. Les plats sont un peu chers et l’insonorisation des salles de bain est mauvaise.

Het hotel ligt op een goede plek om de Ardennen te kunnen ontdekken. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en bestond uit veel opties. Het diner viel daarentegen wat tegen, daar er maar weinig vegetarische keuzes waren. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en meertalig. De wellness is een fijne plek om even tot rust te komen. Kortom een zeer aan te bevelen plek voor een paar heerlijke dagen weg!

Bel établissement, mais attention aux bruits !

Nous avons fréquenté cet hotel suite à un séjour à Durbuy Adventure Valley. Le cadre de l'hotel est fort agréable. Spacieux, bien tenu, propre. Très bon accueil du personnel.

Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner au premier abord car fort cher (18 eur/p).

Les chambres sont très propres, spacieuses et confortables pour un couple ou une famille. Clim de qualité.

Mauvais point pour la partie insonorisation. On entend le couloir, les voisins, bref, c'est très limite sur cet aspect.

La piscine, sauna, hammam, jaccuzi sont super ! C'est rare d'avoir des espaces aquatiques de cette qualité, et aussi bien entretenus avec des règles d'accès permettant d'être au calme sans enfants sur certains créneaux, tard le soir par exemple.

La terrasse est agréable. Le restaurant un peu cher, nous n'avons donc pas pris notre repas sur place et avons préféré la pizzera Mama Gusto pas très loin, un délice!

Le matin, nous avons passé une tête au petit déjeuner, et avons finalement décidé de le prendre sur place car vraiment bien fourni. Du salé, du sucré, des jus, des viennoiseries, ...tout de très bonne qualité. Café en grain, chocolat chaud très bon. bref, je recommande vivement pour un début de journée en pleine forme.

Point d'attention: mais de grâce, ajoutez des patins sous les chaises de la salle de petit déj, car ayant une chambre au dessus, on est réveillés dès 7h non stop jusque 10h par les crissements incessants !

Un bel établissement à recommander, juste attention aux bruits !

Accueil très aimable et enregistrement rapide dans cet hôtel moderne avec un bel espace restauration donnant sur un grand espace de verdure. Possibilité de dîner, petit déjeuner copieux très complet. Chambre avec petit réfrigérateur, stationnement sur parking aisé. Situé à quelques kms de Durbuy., nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits de notre séjour.

Jammer dat de website vermeldt dat het een kindvriendelijk hotel is met zwembad. Maar de kinderen zijn niet toegelaten in dat zwembad.
Dit was de reden van ons verblijf hier. Jammer.

Alles was goed behalve toen we de schimmel zagen in de badkamer. slechts aan één kant van de douchruimte. Een bruine streep waaruit de schimmels geschraapt konden worden. Ik heb een filmpje gemaakt en aan de receptie getoond. Ze gaan daar beter op letten natuurlijk.
Verder, wat een beetje tegenviel was de houding van de restaurantbeheerder. Hij keek constant rond tijdens het ontbijt alsof hij iedereen in de gaten hield. Bij het binnenkomen in het restaurant stond er een stopbord. ik wist niet dat je daar moest wachten totdat je de beheerder je binnen liet. Dit heb ik voor het eerst meegemaakt in een hotel. Het ontbijt was meer dan een voldoende.

voldoende parkeerplaats bij hotel, inchecken verloopt vlot, medewerkers begrijpen en spreken vlot Nederlands, vriendelijke medewerkers, propere kamer, zachte matras, voldoende stopcontacten in de kamer, proper zwembad, welness kan gebruikt worden tot 22u wat ideaal is na een daguitstap, restaurant: lekker gerechten en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Super verblijf maar ..

In het algemeen erg tevreden . De locatie was een goede uitvalsbasis om naar andere plekken te gaan en het is echt een plek om tot rust te komen. Minpunt was dat de schoonmaak op een ochtend zomaar de kamer binnenkwam terwijl wij nog in bed lagen dat was echt geen leuke ervaring en een nacht deed de verwarming het niet. Er werd toen op een vrij onaardige manier gereageerd door de vrouw die die avond dienst had aan de receptie. Geen extra dekens en de mededeling jullie gaan toch morgen weg ? De ervaring met de man aan de receptie was wel top ! Super vriendelijk een meedenkend

Toch enkele opmerkingen:
De kamers worden niet iedere dag gepoetst (dit wordt ook zo aangegeven). Dat vinden wij wel een beetje raar voor een hotel...

Bij half pension heb je een 3-gangen menu (twv 40€) met vrije keuze van voor, hoofd en nagerecht. Als je enkele dagen blijft dan wordt het soms moeilijk om uit de beperkte kaart te kiezen.
Een dag suggestie zou hier welkom zijn...
