We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel HR. We booked it as a base whilst in Corte and it was great for this purpose. We had our own kitchen and bathroom and these were fairly newly decorated or refurbished, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great and really nice when we wanted to chill out. Only thing that could have been better was to have aircon but the staff brought us a fan without us asking for it. The best way to summarise it is like staying in well maintained student accommodation (much better than mine was though!)

I showed up with a confirmed and fully paid for reservation. After a very frustrating 20 minutes where they ignored me. laughed with friends, and helped other people, I was told they don't have a reservation and that I should just leave as they have no rooms. It is high season and I was unable to find another room in town so I had to leave and move on to my next destination. This is the rudest staff I have dealt with in the last 8 months I've been travelling.

Séjour de 2 jours à Corte. Hôtel idéalement situé à côté de la vallée de la Restonica et assez proche du centre. Commerces à proximité, parking sur place. Literie satisfaisante, propreté correcte (douche ressemblant à celles des cabines des ferries !). Jardinet et piscine agréables.

Uniche note positive: prato ben curato e personale gentile, camera pulita e dotata di cucinino con piano cottura a induzione, microonde e frigo nuovi. Per il resto esperienza da dimenticare: l'edificio è fatiscente, la stanza era al terzo piano (ma c'è anche il quarto) SENZA ASCENSORE, niente aria condizionata, cattivo odore nelle scale (sembrava di essere nella stiva di una nave).
La camera era minuscola, al punto che il letto matrimoniale da un lato distava appena 10 cm dalla parete, con conseguenti acrobazie per entrarvi. Il bagno non aveva un vero lavabo, ma una microscopica vaschetta in cui non si riusciva neanche a lavarsi le mani.
Ma la cosa peggiore è stata la puzza terribile di vernice in camera, evidentemente ristrutturata di recente ma con una pittura di pessima qualità. Abbiamo dovuto dormire con la testa dal lato della finestra aperta.
Per il resto: parcheggio disastrato e sconnesso, colazione piuttosto povera, il Wi-Fi gratuito era talmente lento da essere praticamente inutilizzabile.
Nonostante il recente sforzo di ristrutturazione delle camere, l'hotel resta assolutamente da evitare.
