We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and warm when we arrived, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern. At first, we were a little nervous because the road seemed quite tricky due to the heavy snow and the buildings looked quite rustic from the outside, but everything went smoothly. The breakfast was lovely as well.

The guesthouse is right across from Godfoss which makes it a very convenient place to stay and see the waterfall without really have to go out of your way. The rooms were clean and nice. There is no television in the rooms, but free wifi that was reliable. The workers at the house were very accommodating and breakfast was good. There is also a very friendly cat that waits at the guesthouse entry to greet the people during check-in.

One of our favourite stays! Very close to Godafoss. The property is beautiful and quiet. Our room was very clean and blackout blinds were great! The shower was very nice. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and got a great tip from the wonderful lady working there to check out a waterfall which we did! And was a highlight! It’s 4km north of the Godafoss Waterfall. The rooms were really nicely done. Comfortable bed. It comes with breakfast. It had scrambled eggs, a pastry, meats, cheese, yogurt, fruits and vegetables. It had bread, but it was the cheap bread. I would have rather paid more for quality, heartier bread. That’s what was lacking for my husband and myself. Other than that, everything was fantastic! We would stay here again. We would just bring our own bread. 😂

Lovely little hotel just outside Akureyri and right across from Godafoss. Less than an hour drive to Myvatn Nature Baths. Great location, friendly innkeepers, good variety in the free breakfast. Highly recommend.

Loved staying on the farm. It was so quiet. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. We couldn't believe how close Godafoss was, basically across the street from the start of the long driveway that followed the river to the farm. WiFi worked great. Breakfast was packed and busy but they did a great job maintaining everything.

The best Icelandic experience we have had! I am so glad we picked this place. Room is clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is perfect. WiFi is fast. Location is very good (close to the Mývatn baths and Goðafoss).
But it's the people that make the place! Owners Emil and Maria are very very nice! They made us feel very welcomed and like home! They showed us their farm animals and let us feed them! Also showed us how they smoke their lamb etc. It's very interesting to know how real farmers work in Iceland.
We stayed there when the weather was not good. But I'm sure if you pick the right night, you will be able to see northern lights easily from this place. We saw lots of stars the first night.

Great place to stay, close to highway and still super quiet and clean. Great breakfast, hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful with ideas for area sightseeing. Room was large, comfortable and clean, bathroom was impeccable. The entire place was warm, charming and a great deal, especially being so close to the falls. We would definitely stay again and recommend very highly.

The farmhouse was amazing. I loved every moment of my time there. Beautiful accommodations, friendly staff, and unparalleled views. Not to mention being right across the street from a waterfall- which, to be fair, was like a mile and a half away. Loved my stay and would 100% go back.

Sehr unkompliziertes Check-in und Check-out. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir gebraucht haben und war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Der Betreiber war sehr freundlich! Die Unterkunft ist abgelegen, man hat also gute Chancen Nordlichter zu sehen. In der Nähe befindet sich der Wasserfall Guldafoss.

Come ho già detto alla proprietà, secondo il mio parere, è una struttura che non ha futuro se continua una tale gestione.
La Farm è locata a 3 km. dalla cascata di Godafoss ma isolata e in mezzo ad un'arida campagna. Nelle vicinanze non c'è nulla. Essa era un rimessaggio di pecore ora trasformato in un dormitorio con camere francescane e bagno annesso, superdimensionato a danno della camera.
Se fuori fa freddo, piove o nevica non c'è a disposizione un'ambiente comune in cui poter scambiare due parole con gli altri ospiti, non essendo permesso neanche l'ingresso nell'edificio ove c'è la piccola stanza per la colazione ed un piccolo living.
Si può stare o in stanza oppure fuori all'aperto senza gustare nemmeno un buon panorama. Ridicola la presunzione di non permettere l'accesso al corridoio che conduce alle stanze se prima non si sono tolte le scarpe.
Colazione scarsa e poco variegata.
Costo eccessivo per quello che offre e giustificato dalla proprietà dal fatto che essa è una delle pochissime strutture nelle adiacenze della cascata.
Considerando il tipo di struttura, il poco tempo necessario a vedere la cascata ( 1/2 ora ) e la vicinanza ad Akureyri ( 30 km. ), nell'organizzare un tour consiglierei di prevedere la sosta per dormire in una struttura in città. A Godafoss si deve transitare ma non fermarsi per la notte.
