We checked in on a Sunday. There were hundreds of people lounging about the lobby and pool. It was a mix of people waiting to get rooms (those that just came off a cruise ship like us) and those waiting to go into cruise ships.
Otherwise, it was clean, nice, in a great location along Ft Lauderdale Beach.

We loved the location , close some restaurants and walking distance to other restaurants , the walk is like 15 min but nothing better than walking along the beach views ! We loved the clipper tower pool , beach was wonderful , we had small hiccup with valet at the end but it got resolved fast . So we are very happy with our stay and we will be back

A marina view from our room was spectacular. The room was clean but very very basic. Our thermostat did not work. It was either on full blast cool no matter what temperature setting we chose or we turned off. Called the front desk, but nothing was done about it. Dining options are limited. It was a three star hotel.

Amenties were very nice. On the beach with two poolsiden bars and private beach areas. Price of room was about the going rate for Fort Lauderdale. Location is prime and walkable to downtown bars and restaurants. The restaurants were very average in terms of food quality. Towels were provided at the infinity pool and cabanas available if desired. The drinks and food were extremely overpriced and added gratuity automatically. Spent 40 dollars for a Pina Collado, 1 Carona and a gingerale. Breakfast buffet was 98 dollars for the 3 of us. Overall it was nice.

Our ac was broken, our door broke so we couldn't get inside it, we had no windows that opened in our room, theres no working ice machines, one of the elevators was broken the whole trip so it took forever to get down from the top floor, their was construction on the beach that ruined any relaxing, you had to pay for beach chairs in their private beach area even though we paid to be at the resort, and we found cockroaches in the hallways. Overall we are very disappointed in our stay.

Everything was good but they seemed to close beach bar/restaurant 30 minutes before actual closing and that was annoying. We also tried to call for room service 40 min prior to ending our first night and no one would answer and I even tried calling main desk but they just transferred me w no answer. So I had to order uber eats. Other than that beach is awesome and food everywhere on property was great!

Large property with multiple buildings. We had an ocean view which was beautiful. Wasnt the newest as far as room accommodations but was nice.Was a little walk to get to beach but wasnt bad at all. Two pools both nice. Private beach with lounge chairs daily was nice and relaxing, umbrella and cabanas were extra. Umbrella was a good price and made a huge difference. Staff were friendly and attentive. Area was walkable with many different restaurants and activities to do. Only thing we did t like was the shower had the half glass door so everytime we showered the bathroom floor always got soaked and we had to use extra towels to keep the floor dry. Would go back, would recommend.

Arriving hotel staff sent me to another tower without even giving us a room number on the card. Went back and the second time she gave us the wrong room number. Finally after multiple attempts we got to our room. Very loud party’s going on around us. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Don’t recommend this hotel at all

Although the resort was pretty in the public areas, our room was never cleaned properly. They never vacuumed, so there was residual sand all over the floors in our room, hand soap that dripped on the bathroom sink our first night there and was never cleaned up by housekeeping. Also, our room was never restocked with waters and coffee as stated it would be all 4 days. The two public pools were on the smaller side, nicely heated but very crowded . The service to order drinks on the beach took 30+ minutes, it’s much faster to walk all the way to the bar yourself. Next time we will stick to flying to all inclusive resorts out of country, we always have much better experiences with that choice. For the price we paid , we would’ve had a much better experience elsewhere . The gratuity is already including in everything, could be why service wasn’t great

The room wasn’t as clean as it was the last time I stayed. When we moved a chair, we found a used bandage with gauze underneath. There was makeup smeared on the bathroom light switch. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It would run continuously until we realized we had to shut it off. I believe that the thermostat was faulty. Also, we couldn’t use the room phone to call the lobby desk. One of the mattresses was lumpy and uncomfortable. Since we were only there for 2 nights, we put up with everything. The staff was very friendly. There isn’t much of a kitchen. There was a keurig, tea bags, coffee pods and bottled water. Instead of a mini fridge, we had a cooler that was supposed to keep the temperature at 40 degrees but it didn’t. We put bags of ice in the cooler to keep our water cool. Also, their food and drink items are grossly overpriced. Needless to say, I don’t recommend using this hotel.

If you took longer than a 5 min shower it flooded out the room because it didnt have a shower door. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. Beach was very nice and open. Needs updating. The room I had did not have a working heater, took 3 calls to get a portable heater. All outlets in the room are worn and did not work. Windows looking out to the beautiful beach was covered in greasey handprints. Drapes were filthy. Spending $1660 for 4 days was a disaster. No one at front desk ever answer the phones.

The Cooling system in our room did not work. When we arrived the room was at 62 degrees and we could not turn the heat on to bring the room to a normal temperature. We shut the system off and hours later found a big puddle of water leaked on our luggage. The view was beautiful but the room temperature is a critical component to enjoyment of a hotel room.

I feel i should give the folks who run the hotel a little credit because the craziness of spring break. I’m sure it is fatiguing to operate a business under those conditions. But some basic things i would say needs repair. The room we stayed in needed an update - Toilet seat was broken, shower did not drain, and the carpet needed to be replaced. I asked to move a couple times but was not accommodated. Overall the Staff was polite. We did choose to eat elsewhere, the food relative to the cost ($8 drop coffee!) was not appealing.In the end I think if the maintenance team dedicated more time making sure the rooms are operational it would go a long way. Especially during the busy season. But you could see everyone was doing their best and that’s all you can ask for during the busy season.

Room not ready for two hours (6:00 PM). When we finally got into the room it had not been cleaned. Said they would send up a someone “right away”. We went to dinner and came back three hours later to the same condition. They did put us in a different room at that point so we had to shlep down one tower and up another at 11:30 PM.

My partner and I were really excited to spend a romantic getaway at the B Resort. We upgraded our room to an ocean view before arriving which we got, but then found out the pool would be closed all weekend for a wedding and were so disappointed. We were told it had been on the website but we hadn’t seen anything about it when we booked months prior. In addition, our room had no hot water, house keeping only came one of the four days we stayed there (and at 8am), we paid a $50 resort fee per day however there were no beach towels (even though the pool was closed!), no access to pool, had to give up our beach chairs at 5pm each day, and felt like we spent a lot of money for a very average experience. Only breakfast options were the Starbucks, drinks were expensive, and when we called for a late checkout (and to ask for housekeeping each day) no one answered the phone. We spoke to several other guests during our stay who also had disappointing experiences, some of which who had rooms that flooded, and were DOWNGRADED. We had ask them to lock up our bags since we didn’t get a late checkout and the staff got locked out of the room where they store the bags, and we waited twenty minutes while security used a wire hanger to open the door. We complained to guest management at the end of our stay and only got reimbursed for the resort fee. We had had such high hopes but have no plans to return to the B resort next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

We got in at 230pm was told the room was not ready and I’d receive a call when ready, by 6pm we went to check the status and was told they forgot to call and the room “been” ready, NOW the room!!!! We weren’t given directions on how to get to the room, another guest helped us through the maze to find our room! There in one lamp no additional WORKING lightning, the toilet was extremely loose and wobbled when in use, the stand up shower turned into a tub being the water took 30mins or more to drain, no towel hooks in the bathroom. The iron shot out sand al over my clothes , water NEVER hot . …Staff was very nice and professional, the beach area is nice. The burger at the bar was very good.

Our room was very comfortable, the view was excellent off the balcony of the beach and ocean. our floors icemaker did not work for the duration of our stay five days, not even a sign out of order. Our batteries became low in our thermostat so I went to the front desk to pick up some batteries and they told me somebody would bring them up , two days later no batteries. Another odd thing was our room Telephone did not work however after three days, it suddenly worked again not sure if it was a line thing or the phone itself. Overall, the stay was nice. The pool area was nice, both pools.

our view was amazing and the room was great and the hotel is in a great location pretty much walking distance from a lot of places. however we booked a king room with a pull out couch and there was not one in our room so they said they would send a roll away bed and we didn’t receive it until 5 hours later when we were already all asleep and had called 3 hours prior to receiving it. we also had no idea about the security deposit as it was not clarified on expedia as the actual amount you pay when you arrive. so just make sure to call the hotel if your staying so you don’t have any unexpected expenses upon arrival. Also if there are 2 or more people sharing a room they will only give you 2 chairs per room on the beach but if you find your own chairs they usually won’t say anything!

We arrived super early after debarking our cruise and since it was too early for check in they were nice enough to guard our luggage and gave us bracelets to enjoy the amenities the pool and the beach were great we had a great time relaxing we had some food and drinks at the bar and enjoyed with our kids. I would not recommend anyone staying at this property. It’s so run down, dirty, and in ill repair. The owners or investors of this property are only concerned with dollars not a great experience or how the property looks. The lobby is nice but this is definitely not an ART DECO HOTEL. Whoever has been rating this as a 4 or 5 star probably was not looking at the condition of the rooms. I have pictures to prove the condition of the property!!! Horrible and disgusting I promise.

This place is a circus. It's actually like four different, disjointed properties all called B Ocean Resort. Several room changes for our party were required due to broken items (ie. A/C, phones) and so we were forced to try to reach the front desk by cell phone. Any request we made, such as for towels since housekeeping never cleaned our room, were hit and miss as to whether or not they would come. I will never stay here again, nor will I ever recommend someone else to ever stay there.
