Friendly staff were encountered at check -in, check-out and during a chance encounter with the cleaning attendant.

The breakfast exceeded out expectation with both hot and cold options too choose from.

The room was clean, shower was good. Parking was good, I have a car trailer and there was parking for that as well they had outlets in the parking lot for a block heater. Boston Pizza is next door and you get 10% off from the hotel upon check in.
It’s an average room, but was comfortable and quiet.

Weird that there was no grout in the main bathroom by the breakfast buffet. Badly done mosaics with no grout. Feels unclean because how can they clean that? Also, being woken up by housekeeping knocking on the door at 7:02 am on a Saturday is absolutely insane. That should be done in the hours after checkout and check in, not before sunrise on a weekend. Hotels make you checkout by 11:00 and can’t check in until after 3:00, and that is when cleaning should be done. Not waking up people at 7 am after they arrived extremely late after driving for over 10 hours. Won’t stay here again.

The booking system changed the town, the original booking was made for. I showed up to the location and was told there was no reservations. Phoned the hotel that was 2 hrs away and the front desk wouldnt change the reservation to the town i was in. I had to pay double the price to get a room for the night and they billed me anyways for the no show!

First room I was given smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The 2nd room was not cleaned very well. Old used wash cloth was hanging off the shampoo dispenser in the shower. Carpet hadn’t been vacuum, lots of dry mud spots on it.

The staff was great and very helpful.
They didnt have a chambermaid the day we checked in, so there was a wait, the room had some minor damage, but that would be from a guest, i assume that everything will get fixed up.
Their tv channels are terrible, need a better selection.
I have stayed at the foxwood many times and it has always been a clean comfortable room.

Staff was friendly and helpful, very nice! Building and amenities were modern and comfortable.
The carpet was a little dirty in the room, found a toenail... yuck! One of the beds had a sheet with pilling, very scratchy, the other bed was great.
Breakfast had the standard items, tasted fresh and had good coffee! Breakfast started at 5 AM which is much better than the 6 or 6:30 am of many places.

Under new management it says. Lobby is very nice! Looks brand new! Some carpets in the hotel need replacing and a few fixtures like lamps need upgrading but rooms are big. DVD's available, breakfast was great except for cheap plastic cutlery. I found bed mattress too hard fur my liking. Bonus 10% off at BP's next door!

I have the property a 4 star because the keys we were given didn’t work and instead of rekeying the cards we had to use an actual key attached to a card to get into our room. Just not convenient. After supper tried watching TV but not much of a selection of channels but we could have rented DVD’s from the lobbie. No Netflix or Prime. The breakfast however was very good with lots of choices to eat.

Building was a little old, but despite that it was VERY clean and well taken care of. Outside was lacking in beauty, just the tire shop on one end and the BP's on the front. parking was less than desirable. The breakfast, however, was amazing!

The staff were great and easy to deal with. The pictures that were posted are not even close to what the room actually looked like. The staff gave us an upgrade, and it turned out the upgrade was even worse. It didn’t even look like the sheets had been changed. There was hair on the pillows and crumbs all over the comforter. We ended up not staying the night and grabbed an air mattress at my brother’s place. Again the staff was great but the hotel leaves much to be desired.

The building is showing its age. Carpet in my room had a swell in it. One stairwell exit door was jammed. I could not push it open. Hot water pipe for the sink would begin to bang loudly inside the wall. Bathroom itself was in good condition. Bed was acceptable. Toilet tank would suddenly fill so their is a suspected leak of the seal to the bowl. Stairway and halls could have used so vacuum attention.

I could t have a bath as no plug. My digital cable box didn’t work and had to be replaced. Carpet was rippled and worn. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. You need to do some maintenance.

Staff were excellent. Checked in expecting two queen beds but go one. The front desk was very accommodating and put us in the double queen with no extra charge. Booked two extra nights because my wife was ill and again they were accommodating. Gym is small but equipment was good enough for me. Cleaning staff did a great job on the room. I would stay here again.

The Foxwood caters to the boom and bustle of the DV oilfield. The parking lot was full of work trucks and welding rigs. The hotel is starting to show its age and requires a a face lift. The room had a toilet that barely flushed, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and we ended up having to get rid of multiple insects (not sure how they kept getting in). We also found a ripped blue medical (rubber) glove on the floor which was gross.

It was ok in a pinch. 6.5/10.

We stayed here for one night on our way travelling home. The price was very reasonable and the first room we were given the air conditioning didn’t work (it was needed!). We contacted the front desk and we were given another room right away so excellent service. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed the included breakfast the next day too.

We stay at Foxwood every month of the year and it never disappoints us. Hotel caters to workers who travel back roads and bring mud to the parking lot. It is difficcult to keep the parking lot clean. That was the only downgrade to the facilities. Everything else is great, from staff and their friendliness to the services.

Due to the rains a nd oil workers who work in the outdoor the area outside is muddy and not swept. It's understandable because of where the town is located.
Breakfast is very good, except the jerky tough bacon and the funny face potatoes that. taste like paper mache. There are other items on the menue that are very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Drayton Valley.

The towel rack fell off the wall due to poor maintenance after telling them it fell off while i was in the shower all i did was take the towel off of it and hopped into the shower. After i get home they are now trying to charge me for the towel rack a days rent and are claiming i put a bullet hole in the wall while no one heard a shot absolutely the worst place i have every stayed and have yet to reply to me or have any proof be cautious and avoid this place like the wind

Loved how soft the pillows were and warmth of quilt. Love that you are able to regulate how cool or warm you like the room. Love the fridge and microwave extras. Other than highway noise, love how quiet and peaceful it was. Not sure if we were just lucky or if that is the norm in terms of quietness, but it was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Cards didn’t open my room, returned to get reset and back up to 3rd floor and still didn’t work, returned to desk and gave me a master key, that worked but also on friends door. Not very safe. Elevator clunks, ice and pop machines on floors out of order and free breakfast was boiled eggs with bacon.
