My husband & I had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Clos des Anges ! Gael & Sofie were so welcoming and went over & above, especially when we had a minor health issue to ensure we found appropriate medical care.
They speak English quite well & we felt grateful as we were in their county speaking limited French.
The amenities were pristine, and Gael delivered a delicious French breakfast daily which we enjoyed in the gorgeous courtyard. Gael provided a website when checking in of local restaurants and activities. The restaurants were amazing and we went to Terrasses de Pommiers twice - it was excellent!!!
Our room was very very spacious, and the bathroom as well with double sinks & extensive counter space.
Very comfy king bed !
We had dinner delivered the last night via Gael’s resturant connections and it was hot & tasty.
The location in the heart of the vineyards was stunning,
yet easily accessible to many nearby villages and restaurants.
This is an extraordinary stay in Bagnols, and we plan to return again with family & friends as it is also perfect for groups !

Good B and B uncomfortable mattress

We booked the B and B for two nights but left after one night because the mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable. The host couple was very nice to us and tried to accommodate us in every way. The setting was beautiful and otherwise the accommodations were good

A real gem!

Le Clos de Anges is a lovely Guest House is finished to a very high standard. The decor was beautiful and a lot of thought has gone into making this a very special place indeed. A rare find . The owner Gale spent a lot of time making sure our stay was a special one even arranging food for us when we arrived later the expected. It is very close to Lyon and the Autoroute so ideally situated. We will definitely return.

Host was nice, place was overpriced and pool area dirty. Good bed, fast internet but poor room quality and layout. Would not go again.

This property is located in the middle of nice vineyards in a gorgeous area of Beaujolais. Go check out the beautiful village of Oingt which is only 5 kms away.
The owner is very pleasant ans went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. the rooms are neatly decorated with Maroccan furniture and accents. The indoor warm swimming pool and the Hammam are a very nic touch. Thank you. We will come again to this nice property.

The property is very unique with an appealing swimming pool and sauna on the lower level. Unfortunately we were unable to use it as we were there just one night.

Tall people be aware of the low entrance to the bathroom in the Iris room. After 3 smacks to my forehead I finally became conscious of it. Also, the chairs in that room are themed to match the overall decor, but are too low to be practical for those who are older or who have knee/hip problems. The bed was great.

Kjempekoselig og velkommende vert, og kjempefint rom. Var basseng og fint uteområde rett ved rommet. Kjempefint innredet og gode fasiliteter. Var mulig å bestille mat fra en privat kokk til hotellet. Er et lite stykke å gå visst man kommer med kollektiv transport, så hugs å planlegge godt. Men var et kjempefint område med mye vakker natur og landskap.

Très agréable séjour d'une nuit en couple, pour l'anniversaire de mon amie. Accueil convivial de notre hôte qui sait mettre les clients à l'aise. Le fait d'avoir proposé pour le soir un choix de restaurants pour aller diner a été très appréciable. La piscine est très bien, sur réservation entre chambrées, ce qui permet d'avoir un moment privé très sympa. Les autours sont encore à moitié en travaux mais le résultats final sera sûrement très beau

Un séjour dépaysant dans une chambre d hôte chic !

Un séjour fort agréable dans une maison d hôte à la décoration orientale très dépaysante. La piscine intérieure chauffée et le hammam sont un vrai bonheur après des heures de route.
Notre chambre était décorée avec goût et raffinement. De nombreuses attentions nous y attendaient : thé, café, de nombreuses serviettes de bain, des chaussons …
Les enfants ont apprécié le jardin.
Le petit déjeuner était convenable, même s il pourrait être encore optimisé
Merci pour l accueil chaleureux et prévenant des propriétaires.

Une nuit paradisiaque au clos des anges

Séjour magnifique ! Un accueil au top ! La chambre était vraiment très belle avec une grande salle d'eau. Et la literie était très confortable.
À cela s'ajoute une jolie piscine et un grand hammam et les peignoirs sont fournis.
Parfait pour un séjour en amoureux. Séjour qui se terminera par un très bon petit déjeuner.
À faire et à refaire.

O meu quarto ficava na parte superior da casa, com uma escada que exigia muito cuidado ao descer.
Wifi muito ruim. Café da manha simples.

Un coin de paradis au cœur du Beaujolais

Une perle à découvrir!!
Des hôtes chaleureux et très accueillants, un cadre magnifique, une touche orientale que nous retrouvons dans chaque recoin et qui donne l'impression de voyager!
Bref, une très bonne expérience que je renouvellerai. Même si mon séjour a été de courte durée et pour des raisons professionnelles, j'ai été très agréablement surpris par ce lieu.
Les équipements sont parfaits (piscine couverte chauffée et Hammam, hall accueillant, jardin, parking,...), des hôtes aux petits soins, et une chambre magnifiquement décorée, spacieuse et très bien équipée..
Je recommande aussi bien pour un séjour romantique que pour un séjour professionnel!

Moment de détente à la campagne

Le clos des anges, est très jolie, bien entretenue et propose de bons services.
Les chambres sont bien décorées, spacieuses et confortables.
C'est un superbe cadre pour se détendre grâce à la piscine intérieure chauffée et au hammam.
Les hôtes sont très accueillants, agréables et de bons conseils (recommandation de bons restaurants dans les environs).
Je recommande vivement.
