The hotel had a beautiful lobby; room was nicely arranged and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has direct access to Tokyo Station with many restaurants and Ramen street. One stop away from Ginza by train or walkable distance to the Imperial Palace.

Loved our stay at the Marunouchi Hotel. Its location right next to the Tokyo Train Station was so convenient. The room was immaculate, but with limited storage. Recommend packing light or at least bringing extra hangers. Also recommend getting a corner room for a little more space. Enjoyed the morning breakfast (cost not included). Many options. Especially loved the pastries! The hotel itself only has two restaurants. Dinner prices are expensive. We ate the first night at the tappanyakki restaurant. It was delicious and memorable and worth the splurge. On the basement level 1 are many shops and restaurants that are reasonably priced. We loved the bakery which in addition to their selection of pastries, served a sit-down breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel staff was very helpful, although struggled a bit with English, but it didn’t present itself as a problem.
Overall, very happy with the Marunouchi Hotel and would definitely recommend this high quality hotel.

Good size room for Tokyo. Great location- lots of train stations within 2-5min walk meant we had direct train lines to everything. Great bathroom amenities. Clean room, comfortable bed. You can hear trains a little from Tokyo station if your room is on that side but it's not bad that it bothers you at all. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it. Safe and clean area/location around hotel.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The only issue we had was the stiffness of the bed mattress, but that was overcome by our taking a backpacking air pad to add on top of the mattress I also had issues getting in and out of bed due to the small space between the wall and mattress.

I would have liked to seen a little better equipped fitness center. It was very clean and well maintained, but small- and could have used some free weights. Overall a great property, and so conveniently located next to Tokyo station.

The biggest draw to me is the location across the street from Tokyo Station. It is connected underground is ideal for people using Narita Express or any trains. It is close to Ginza. The room was a little smaller than other hotels I have used in Tokyo and the buffet breakfast had fewer choices than some but I enjoyed my stay and can recommend it.

The overall facilities of the hotel are very good and well-maintained. The rooms are clean, and the location is extremely convenient, with an elevator providing direct access to the train station's underground passage.

However, the soundproofing is quite poor. Since the hotel is located directly opposite the train station, you can not only hear the noise of passing trains but also feel the vibrations when they go by.

What surprised me the most was that the hotel charged a so-called “foreigner tax.” I have stayed at many hotels in Japan, and this is the only one that has ever imposed such a fee, which I found quite unusual and disappointing.

Considering the price, I do not think the experience justifies the cost.

We booked the corner room and it was excellent! Breakfast buffet had a great variety and the service was perfect. We especially loved the location of the hotel and proximity to Tokyo Station. They offered many amenities in the room including skincare products and pj’s. Our only complaint was that Japanese pillows are very stiff and we prefer softer pillows. We asked but they did not have any.

The rooms were not roomy but very functional. It had a lot of closet space and was very clean. The bed was fine and the shower was great -- ample hot water and the strength of the water coming out was excellent.

Kudos to the concierge, Sadio, whom I asked where to buy certain items requested by our grandsons. Some of them were candy gummies and my older grandson wanted a certain brand of soy sauce. It turns out that that soy sauce was very special and is made on a small island and Tokyo gets 100 bottles a year. Sadio suggested a number of places for me to get it but no one had it. Every day Saido would check with me to see if I got it and on the last day he said he found something similar (although not the exact one in my picture) and a store in Tokyo had it. He took time to add the store name and location to my phone and off we went. We were successful in getting a similar soy sauce. I applaud Saido for his hard work. He said he never gives up and he did not. Thank you so much to have such a caring and attentive Concierge, Saido. It made the stay worthwihile.

Hotel is in a very convenient location next to the Tokyo Station, which you can access by underground or street level. The deluxe room is nice with plenty of space and the hotel service is great. We didn’t try the restaurants, but they seemed to be busy.

The Marunouchi Hotel is a beautiful hotel right next to the busy Tokyo Station, so it is extremely convenient for travelers.
It has restaurants within walking distance, as well as the beautiful Imperial Gardens.
From desk staff are polite and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable and spacious.

Loved the fact so many delightful little touches had been thought about. Made our first night in Tokyo very special indeed.

The absolute relief when the kind girl at reception offered immediately to look after it snowboard bag was huge!

The breakfast the following day was equally wonderful and the staff and place all made us wish we were staying longer. A marvellous option for Tokyo and perfectly placed for the station and shinkansen

I had a great stay at Marunouchi Hotel. The location is perfect. It is right across Tokyo station and directly linked to the station from the basement. The room is really spacious. The tatami seating area in the room is a pleasant surprise. Every night before bed, we sat at the tatami, drinking tea & enjoying the city view. The breakfast buffet is good enough and the staff are very helpful.

The warm hospitality of the staff is incredible. I asked them if they have a newspaper with ohtani in the front page when they won the world series and one of the staff running with a paper. Its amazing where they go extra and beyond their service. The garden is magnificent . Tokyo moon is amazing part of the attraction. We will definitely go back again. And highly recommend this place in Tokyo

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The staff!!! They smile and they are willing to help. Sorry I forgot her name… but she was so kind and professional to deal with my request for early checkin. Very speedy. Also when I had to go back to my room after checkout ( thought I forgot something but not), she smiled and just helped me. Very very impressed. Id definitely stay there again.

The room was clean with quality toiletries. Fitness room worked for us. It was small with no free weights, but there was a universal machine. We paid for the breakfast and so glad we did as it was really nice and worth the price. The entire staff of the hotel is amazing. My husband forgot his backpack on the train from Narita to the hotel, and this awesome hotel front desk agent called the Narita Express office, and they were able to locate his backpack! That could have been a disastrous start. The location was also perfectly and conveniently located next to Tokyo Station where we were able to take day trips and then the Shinkansen to our next destination. I highly recommend Marunouchi Hotel.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more - it was an excellent choice I made, staying 3 nights at Marunouchi Hotel during my recent Tokyo visit. Its central location and them immediate surrounding facilities had made all my travels fairly efficient, being adjacent to the historical Tokyo Station.
