The room was perfect, plenty of parking, an outdoor area with a koi pond full of fish, a view of the river and a big screen TV but best of all was the riverside dock across the street. There is a few benches to enjoy the view but if you enjoy fishing you’ll be glad to know there is a good fish bite. My husband pulled in several different species of fish and of then of course released them but he certainly had a blast catching them. We normally stay at Captain Hirams, but they were booked solid and they had one room left at the Davis Inn, thank goodness. This will definitely be our go to place to stay when visiting Sebastian and want to say thank you to the owners and all of their staff as we really appreciate you all!

The man, Kyle, who owns the place was a joy to deal with. we enjoyed the kayaks and going out to the bird Island. The room was clean and decorated nicely. We had a king room facing the courtyard, it only had a microwave so we couldn’t cook in the unit but they do have a the grill outside. The location is perfect to all of the restaurants in the area.

Older place, but very large and comfortable room with many amenities in the room that were greatly appreciated: coffee pot with coffee, wine glasses and opener, Nice mugs, microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, etc. Nice couch with table and two chairs for work or eating. Two TVs. I would return. Very nice area if you want an old Florida feel with slower pace town, two treasure museums from Spanish galleons that sunk nearby.

Great location, room was clean. Owner didn't want me to book an extra night with Expedia because of fees. Craftsmanship was poor in room and furniture was mismatched and cheap quality. We stayed at a different place in the area with similar costs, but the quality was top notch. Davis Inn is over priced.

The room needs blinds or black out curtains as the sun came in from east. The bathroom is so small -cant even open door to get into shower because it swings toward toilet. The sink in bathroom is so low and no counter space, my wife had to bend over and had trouble doing her make up each day. The kitchen was ok with full isze fridge. The view was ok of river and had nice eating spot for two in front living area. With one bathroom and very small area, 2 adults/ 2 kids challenge for space/comfort
Closets have nice storage and rooms with ceilings fans to keep them circulating. good location near boardwalk and close proximity to restaurants at night. safe and clean. Just needs some rennovations to modernize.The space was semi-clean but need to add dishawasher -dont want to wash dishes on vacation or get penalized. no room service during stay. probably not bookk again.

I’ve stayed in $300 plus rooms in my life and have had my feet dirty from carpet. This place I felt like I could eat off the floor. Everything is spotless. The owners are laid-back. The views just feet away with a private beach area for your sunsets and sunrises were a definite unexpected touch. Highly recommended to all my family and friends when they visit now.

Between the two main roads in Sebastian you get a nice quiet street where you can sit outside and unwind, while at the same time being in easy walking distance from all there is to see and do in Sebastian. The rooms are spacious and clean and well appointed for a relaxing stay. They have a private pier where guests can fish, sip coffee while watching a sunrise, or watch dolphins chasing a meal. Kayaks and bicycles are available for guests to use too. There is a tiki deck with a gas grill for guests to use with a pretty koi pond next to it . The grounds are well kept. Staff: primarily it's the owner, Kyle, doing everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. He does it all: desk clerk, room cleaner, maintenance man and more.
We stayed for 10 nights and the only bad thing was that our vacation was over and it was time to go back to the daily grind. While we were there, we were thoroughly relaxed, felt safe and comfortable the whole time.
Davis House Inn will be our go-to vacation accommodations in Sebastian from now on. We love it there.

Amazing stay!

We booked for a friend’s wedding that was in the area, and getting to the hotel a little later than planned was worried we were not going to be able to check in. However, Kyle was already on it. We checked into our beautiful king room and was blown away with how pretty it was. It was stocked with everything we needed, plus some. The best part was, we could walk everywhere we needed to from this location as well.

If we’re visiting the area, we will definitely be booking here again.

coffee maker and microwave, no way to prepare fried eggs or heat water.

Having a suit style room for the price was excellent. It may not be modern and flashy but it has all the necessities of a costal getaway! The kitchen amenities were great with coffee, cream, and sugar available. The dining table came in handy too as i had some sewing to do! Of course the ironing board got used for that too! Didn’t get much use out of the couch and living room tv but it was a welcome touch! There was also a smaller tv by the bed which was great for unwinding and watching game shows!

My only critics are that the bed was very firm, which started to affect my sleep on the second night. Also the bathroom was a bit cramped with the door opening into the shower and toilet.

Overall a lovely stay local spot to stay! 15/10 recommend for a costal getaway!

The room was immaculate. The full size fridge is a wonderful idea. The large counter with sink, coffee maker and microwave and an abundance of cabinet and drawers containing dishes and silverware makes it so convenient. The room was large with petition between the king sized bed and the front area the contained a nice sofa and a table with four chairs and tv. The air conditioning was superb. I would highly recommend it.
