Bed was terrible very poor condition. The next morning bathroom was flooded from upstairs. If i didn't put light on i would have fallen! Nobody called to say i may have water or tub overflowed upstairs. I won't return to pay for what i just went through.

parking lot was a thick sheet of ice, handicap ramp was covered in snow and automatic door did not work. would not be wheelchair accessible is needed and could barely get in and out of there in my awd car because of how bad the parking lot was. heat in room did not work well. we turned it up but we’re still cold all night. indoor pool was not open. window to our room just looked into the pool room which would’ve been weird if there was actually people in there. will say that the room did atleast seem clean.

Firstly, the deadbolt didn’t work, and the excuse I received was “ none of them work, you can use the chain….and besides, I’m here 24/7 so it’s ok “.
That’s not OK for two women staying alone they’re not familiar with !!
Shortly, after speaking to the manager about the deadbolt, I tried to go to the bathroom…. And noticed that the toilet water kept rising and rising and rising, so I had to call for him to bring a plunger.!!! Not only did he bring a plunger, but he just handed it to me like I was supposed to do the plunging !!! WHAT !??? Are you freaking kidding me….. and to top things off, the hallways were littered with stains of disgusting colors and the front door that was supposed to slide back and forth. You had to do it manually with your hand, and there was even a sign on it that said that’s what you needed to do !
Inadequate lighting in the bedroom, it was held together by electrical tape, and there was no lights above the beds ! It’s lucky to get 1 star from me !
If I didn’t have such a close by plan, I would’ve gotten a different hotel but I probably would’ve gotten charged and I was just so disgusted with everything ! I should have told Expedia !! I

We didn't mind this hotel, it was very basic but cleaner than a stay in seaside heights. The room was damp but cool. The pool and fitness area were closed, and the fire alarm went off once during the one night stay (but turned off shortly after). Hotel was small, parking was easy. They had a tiny, tiny breakfast area but we did not check it out. Staff were fine. Id rather stay 8 minutes from the boardwalk for this price then double in the boardwalk for a dirtier room.

The fact that I booked them called to verify what time check in was and that all paid I did not need to bring anything else money use and the front desk gentleman said yes all paid thru Expedia and you just need to pick up keys at desk and bring license then when I got there was told I need 150 CASH

rundown and outdated property

hotel front entrance door broken and has a sign to open and close manually . not a good start for a disabled person using a walking device . looking back at other reviews i can see this has been broken since atleast march 2025 . what kind of hotel doesnt have a working door for over 4 months ? arrived at 2:25pm and was told id have to pay $50 to check in before 3pm . literally 30 minutes early . woman at desk was very rude about it as well . so i had to sit in my car for a half hour which is ridiculous when rooms were clearly ready . room itself has not sparkling but was passable for a quick stay . stains in the bathroom and hairs on the hardwood floor in numerous places . tv was bigger and nice . bed was very stiff and uncomfortable . no ice machine on the first floor and just 1 microwave for the entire place . no mention of these things or of a pool or gym at check-in but i did see signs for them , no idea if they were operating or not but my guess is no . seems the workers like to park in the handicap stalls right at the entrance as i saw them parking there all thru my stay , with no handicap tag i might add . not a good look to someone who needs those spots . hotel clearly has been neglected and i would not recommend staying here . i would pay a little more for a better situation in the future

The front door was not working, staff had put a sign on it for clients to open and close it themselves even though there was no handle to open or close door. One of 2 ice machines were not working. The bathroom door in our room would not close. My bed was like sleeping on a flat board. Pillows were nice, air conditioning worked well.

Zero customer service. Staff not friendly nor welcoming at all.
The rooms are old and the beds are not comfortable. When laying on the beds you feel the bed springs on your back.
There are no microwaves in the room. The entire hotel has to share one microwave near the lobby.
There is no continental breakfast.
This hotel offers nothing.

Main entrance was broken so you jad to push the electric door open and closed, needless to say the surrounding vlass was filthy dirty. Light fixture in lobby was taped in place, rug waa loose and filthy - a complete tripping hazard. We were asked to sign a typed form, unbranded, requiring a swcurity hold on our credit card. When I asked about it he said, \"oh, that wont apply to you\".

The room was in decent condition - linens were clean as was bathroom. The wall mounted gair dryer was removed but the mounting plate was left there.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years but the new owners/management company have let it deteriorate. I truly wondered if it was being used as a temporary housing facility.

We will NEVER be back, and I strongly encourage you not to stay here.

Staff at front desk made presumptuous comments when I arrived with my service animal. My room is located on the third floor and it had no screens door did not close to the bathroom and looks like it was broken into before beds were dirty towels disgusting the room stunk I had to clean it on top of all that as a paying guest with a disability I had to walk up and down three flights of four flights of stairs to get to the third floor because I had my service animal on top of that when I wanted to extend my stay for a few days they verbally told me okay and when it came down to it they said they only had availability for one night and I had to check out the next day and the hotel isn't even full

Very poorly kept facility. The \"electric\" entrance door was broken and had to be opened and closed by hand. Towels were rough and room was not well maintained. There was a hole in the ceiling where the sprinkler head should have been. Would definitely not recommend this location.

A hotel worth staying at

The hotel was clean- it's some updating but nothing major. Rob was truly a sweet guy with a good sense of humor with a lot of patience for some of these customers who had no common sense. The hotel is closeness enough yet far away enough from the beach traffic. I would stay here again if I come back to Jeresy.

Towels were clean and room was clean. There was not a \"do not disturb\" tag to hang up so i assumed they do not clean the rooms here. But they did, which i did not want. Two employees were very unwelcoming to my service dog. There were overflowing dumpsters of trash and recycling material in the back and a tiny grass area for dogwalking. The doors nearby opened and closed late into the night.

Good stay for a night or 2

When I arrived and walked in to check in the gentleman, which I assume was the manager, did assist me quickly. He was very pleasant and got my check-in processed done fast and efficient. I stayed on the very first floor, which was around the corner from the check-in desk, which was fine. It was not a noisy hotel at all during my stay. Overall, the hotel did have basic accommodations for your basic needs. When I entered the room, it was a standard king bed. Everything looked fine, you could tell the room has been cleaned, and the sheets and bedding looked clean. I made sure to pull them back and really check. However, drawbacks were the give off mildly musty smell, and they definitely could use some updates on the rug, the chair, the desk chair, and definitely use some new paint. The bathroom I was very impressed with was very clean no issues there and it was updated as well. The hotel property when you pull in, doesn’t necessarily look like much but the rooms would surprise you for a basic one to two nights stay. I would stay here again. It’s really not bad. I do tend to stay at 5 star hotels for the most part, but I’m trying to stay on a budget so this actually worked out fine.
