This is a lovely property, funky and quaint decor, comfortable room and beds. We were there during the week so didn’t have breakfast but the kitchen area is super clean and well stocked with coffee and tea options. The owner was very communicative about arrangements and was flexible when I thought I needed an early check in The shared bathroom is cute and clean. If I’m in the Pittsburgh area again I would definitely go back

The owner is extremely polite, very helpful, accommodating, and a great cook - breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The shared kitchen is right next to the room we were in, with a side door for easy exit and entrance. The living room area is also beautiful. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone. It is quiet, affordable, and accommodating. 5/5

A quirky B&B with lots of character and convenient parking. One star deducted for the very low water pressure in the Moroccan Suite (it’s in the furnished attic). The Moroccan Suite does have the benefit of having its own, private bathroom while the rooms on the lower floors share a common commode.

Terrible Place, Stay Away!

This is the worst place we reserved (but did not stay) during our 13 day road trip so far. The 9.0 rating for this hotel must be a fraud. When we arrived we looked at the room, went to use the toilet, turned the water on in the sink and there was NO water. Called Jayson on the phone and he told me that when clothes are being washed the water stops but will be back in two minutes. We waited for five minutes and there still was no water. Moreover the toilet was supposed to be shared. Jayson offered another room with its own toilet. We checked the water in the sink and there was still no water. That’s why we left place and found another hotel for the night. My rating for this place is -10.

There was no breakfast...it is served Sat and Sun only; found that out after checking in and wandering into kitchen to find a glass
There was 1 parking space as advertised; had to park on street; while enroute was emailed a code to get in..it was all self service; never met the 'host', unless it was a man in a room just off the kitchen (who knows). A couple across the hall were loud into wee hours of morning; my room had a bath..toilet with sink outside in bedroom; 1 shower for what I counted ..5.. rooms. However, bed was comfortable and 'clean'... I can't complain about that, but it was not what I expected from a B&B; Guess you get what you pay for...but not knowing the area, had little choice. Would not stay again..would drive to some town with a hotel

I intentionally waited a few days to post this. I have never posted a negative review. This is a very old building with, believecitvir not, skeleton keys for the individual rooms. I went out to dinner and came back and could not open the lock. After 15 minutes of trying i texted the owners who are not onsite and the entire process seems to be remote. After a few minutes with no response i texted them again and questioned their dedication to customer service. A minute or two later a man stormed onto the scene and was extremely mad. He immediately verbally attacked me for qyestioning his dedication to customer service, told me he was not responding because he was out walking his dog and, as he was having difficulty himself opening the room, suggested that i had broken the 100 year old lock. When i countered that perhaps it might have something to do with the ancient mechanism itself he became even more upset. If you like old houses that are clean, have one bathroom to be shared by 4 bedtooms and is run by a couple of exciteable middle age men then this place us for you.

The Parsonage was very cool, I stayed in the Olympus room, and the place had a fun old timey feel. Everything was clean and even though the place was obviously old it has been excellently maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of snacks in the kitchen.

Having to share the bathroom caught me off guard. I didn’t remember reading about that when I booked the room. I only stayed one night so I skipped the shower but if I was staying longer I would have been very nervous about preventing someone from using the restroom if they needed it urgently. A half bath (toilet and sink) would be an excellent addition.

I will happily stay here again and definitely recommend it.

I have never stayed anywhere so disappointing. They call it a B&B yet they don't serve breakfast during the week. They don't tell you clearly that you don't have your own bathroom. The shared bathroom floor is just a dirty sub floor. No ice. No water in rooms. No milk or coffee creamer -- just off brand powder. Cluttered. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The cigarette smoke from the front porch permeates the first floor. They should be ashamed at what they are trying to pass off!

Overall Disappointing

We stayed for one night while in town for a concert. Check-in was easy, albeit odd. We just helped ourselves to the property and room. Nobody was physically there to welcome or verify our identity. The house is charming and decorated with nice antiques, plants, and has games and movies to use. All that was fine, but the common area felt kind of dusty and dark. We stayed in the Olympus room. The room itself was decent, but upon entering the trash was 1/2 full with previous occupants trash, and the king bed was not comfortable at all. We could feel the springs and the bed tilted toward the feet and dipped heavily into the middle. The property is undergoing some renovations which we were unaware of until we were at the property. The bathroom floor is ripped out to subfloor. The breakfast is nothing like the photos and definitely not “gourmet”. It was dropped off into the “kitchen” in containers and was self serve. It was scrambled eggs with cheese on top, bread and bagels, sausage links, store-bought donuts, and some fried potatoes that were gritty and dry. A keurig was available for use but no other breakfast beverages.
It was a place to stay and rest while we were in town, but overall, we were disappointed.

The house is very charming. It has character and having themed bedrooms is a great idea. I chose the Moroccan room not knowing that it would be the biggest room and most private. Really loved my stay. The water pressure and the bathtub condition could be improved. The hosts were very friendly and attentive and responded to all questions promptly.

The house is beautiful with a lot of character. The antiques and decorating inside catch your eyes, feels very welcoming. There is a shared bathroom, but we had no issues at all and the rooms were book all weekend. Great place to stay with great hosts. Jason was prompt to address any issue or request. I loved the uniqueness of the place. Decorated with antiques that are both beautiful and functional. When I stayed, I was the only tenant. Although, I think it would have been fun to participate in the family- style breakfast, they didn't disappoint for a single person. Country ham, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice. More than enough and such a good variety.

The facility is located in a quiet neighborhood and I slept soundly throughout the night. I would absolutely stay again.

One small bathroom for 4-5 rooms. Six guests the night we stayed. I didn’t get to shower bc I didn’t want to tie up the single bathroom. Our room was the attic and it was a hot day, so the room stayed in the upper 70s. I texted the hosts and they tried to cool it down for us. The area is walkable but Leechburg is pretty depressed.

The B&B is located in a rather small house. The first floor looks wonderful with Victorian furniture. We booked Moroccan room sleeping 6 - it was a 3rd floor with colorful throws and pillows covering up a full bed and a mattress on the floor. It would not sleep 6 adults but can be a fun stay for kids.
My biggest turnoff was a single bathroom for 3 floors. Overall, 3 couples stayed there so it would have been a line the entire evening. The bathtub was old so I would hesitate to shower there.

Half way to Virginia

I decided to split my road trip from Michigan to Virginia and spent a restful night at the BandB. Jason was very friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom not a problem (I was only tenant for the night, but would be ok). Price was excellent and included a massive breakfast! Young cat is reasonably friendly. I would stay again.

The attention to details in this beautiful establishment were so impressive … we had more fun staying there than we did at the event we traveled to that area for. We are currently looking up things to do in Leechburg just so we can stay in the top room in the Bnb. The food was excellent, the stay was cozy, the host was so kind.

We had a great stay at The Old Parsonage Inn. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and it was so cozy, and the decor in the Inn was so cool! You can really tell how historical the place is, it’s gorgeous. The hosts are absolutely lovely, offering a fantastic made to order breakfast menu and even more fantastic communication. Self check in was super convenient as well. One of the hosts was even kind enough to give us a ride up the road to pick up our car that we had to leave over night at a wedding venue. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area! It was so great and we loved it!

Thing is, room was clean enough. Owner seemed nice via text, and had we stayed, I'm sure the breakfast would have been fine. THERE IS ONE BATHROOM IN THE WHOLE BnB! ALL GUESTS SHARE ONE BATHROOM. Our stay here was very nice. Its such a unique place. The property was sold the day before we arrived. The new owners are wonderful and excited to make some updates. Breakfast was terrific. We were gone every day visiting relatives, but enjoyed returning to the old parsonage. The only problem was the one bathroom, but we managed and new owners are planning to add on. Overall, a good experience.
