The hotel is new and the lounge and dining area smart. The outside verandah under the canopy is excellent day and night and the pool very clean. I found the food generally good and the buffet had an excellent beef.

Extremely lound. Hotel hosted a party that was scheduled to end at 10:00 pm. The party lasted past 12:00. After crews broke down the metal scafolding just outside my window. This continued past 1:00 am. Managment was dismisive about the issue.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were excellent, the grounds and amenities were very suitable. Restaurant food quality was remarkable quality and extraordinary low priced. We really enjoyed our stay at the Garden Court Kitwe. It was like an island oasis offering 1st world and 1st class level accommodations in a developing country with a lot of redevelopment happening around it. The people were amazing and this property is a real find.
Only 2 constructive feedback would be:
1) while the wait staff were amazingly helpful, kind and courteous, and there were plenty of staff available, service is consistently slow, compared with restaurants in the states. Food was prepared reasonably fast, the menus and buffet options were consistently great quality. I really can’t emphasize how great the value and quality of food.
2) the location of the pool makes it very impractical to use. It’s a beautiful add, zero edge pool right off the back patio - the patio by the way is excellent to use for breakfasts - but the pool is very close and visible so it was not used by anyone while we were there, and I certainly wouldn’t use it being on central display ;-)
