Okay place, dated and a bit dingy.

The Good part was a comfortable King size bed and an adequate cold breakfast.
The motel needed newer carpets about 10 years ago and a paint job in the public areas about 15 years ago.
there were two security guards sitting in the lobby 24 / 7. the front door was always locked, use your key to get in, or the security will open it. The security helped me with suitcase upstairs as I have bad knees.
The desk clerk sits behind a plexiglass window, but he was helpful. because my train leaving was not until 5 Pm I asked to stay a later check out, until 12:30, he said OK.
I guess the surrounding area had a lot of lazy young people not working, there was
a Tims about two blocks away and A & W closer.

I stayed there about 15 years ago. It’s getting ageing to from the previous time I stayed there. Staff was very friendly. Had the room ready early for me in time so I could go to my medical appointment.
Michael
Parking was good

I was worried when I pulled up to the entrance and saw the crowd of undesirables that are so common around businesses in Thompson, however once inside after speaking to the front desk clerk, I was far less worried.
The hotel is secure - you cannot get beyond the foray without a key, and there is a 24 hour security team on the property.
Once in my room, I had to check with the front desk to see if my room type had been changed because the room was far bigger than what I saw on the pictures! It was an incredible deal for the price I had paid!
Finally, it was a quiet hotel! There was never any rowdy guests or any nonsense like that in the two nights I stayed there.
If I ever find myself back in Thompson, I will definitely stay here again!

The bed has a great mattress and the linen was very clean. All good.
Hoa
It is OK to stay overnight.
Tanya
The hotel checked my room out to another guest while I was in my room during the last night of my stay. The front desk acknowledged it was their error. No apology. I would have moved to another hotel if another one was available.
Jody
Parking was not always available also due to snow, the snow in parking lot was not cleared. Hotel had security which was nice. Room was okay bed, sofa, table was clean. Floors were old carpets that needed to be vacuumed especially along the walls where all the dust sits. Microwave needed to be wiped down as there were finger marks everywhere. Door mirror in bathroom was quite disgusting. Tub sink and mirror were clean, but the shower curtain on the inside still had soap or shaving cream on it. Don’t rely on the continental breakfast as there is barely anything there you get cereal, toast, microwavable, bacon. There was no fruit or yogurt.
Shannon
Parking was a bit hard. The lot needed to be cleaned of snow which made it hard to get in and out and find a spot to park
Janice
Not enough parking, very dirty room, heater in room was not functioning properly, we kept having to adjust from cold to warm all night long.
Smelled like marijuana, the Window is not sealed and had a large crack with wind blowing in.
And we could hear everything from outside. The phone kept ringing at night.
Would not recommend staying here.

The property is old and needs maintenance. The staff were very very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was alright. We found boiled stale eggs that were probably past expiry date. But the staff were nice enough to replace them when asked.

Clean and quiet

There were roaches. The window couldn't be closed causing insecure room. The window's wood have started falling apart. There's a bad smell inside. It was a torture being there. I have photos. Couldn't upload because the upload button is not working.

Always feel safe here

Nice atmosphere

It was the cheapest bigger hotel in Thompson, of course there will be issues. It was ok. Sketchy part of town, but Thompson is all sketchy. The blackout curtains in the room were a joke. How hard is it to hang curtains properly? Berry hard, apparently.

I like that the building is close by restaurant and staff is friendly. I also enjoyed the free breakfast.
Sam
Staff were very helpful. An older building but good
Kristina
The Hotel is very old and really needs to be updated. Not the cleanest for sure. Way to noisy outside in the middle of the night. Since you only have access to the front door parking is horrible during the winter.

Nice Independent Hotel - A Little Pricey
This was a nice little hotel. Large room and comfortable bed. A little expensive but this is typical of Thompson hotels in general.

Normal motel with normal rooms. Stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. Not dirty, quiet. Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, bagel, etc
Otto
We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. A normal, even average motel. Not dirty but not crazy clean either. The outside area immediately around the motel had all kinds of homeless people gathering, but did not feel unsafe. Rooms were OK. Breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, milk, juices, coffee and tea). Walking distance to shops.
Jordan
Enjoyed the weekend
Jocelyn
Very noisy with little to no service. Cleanliness was suspect as well
Georgia

It was near a friends place, that was helpful during my stay.

Cheap but old, comfy mattress, area felt sketchy
Hotel was ok, Room was cute, but everything seemed pretty old. Mattress very comfortable.
We arrived in the evening and when we unloaded our personal stuff, we noticed quite a few personalities hanging around the parking lot/Hotel, watching us. We didn’t feel like this was a safe place to park a fully loaded truck for moving so we found a different spot in town.

Completely I unsatisfactory. Beds could not be slept in with by anyone with any kind of back problem. Very, very dirty and completely shabby…rugs filthy, holes in walls, drapes ready to fall off of windows would have had to sleep in my clothes!
Runa
Disappointed… paid the hotel room as it was too late to cancel and checked in and paid for another hotel room

We had an excellent stay at your hotel. We were there for a conference…so love that there was a separate bedroom. Nice and quiet too.
Ralph
I liked the location.
Charles
It was alright
Was the only room available in town so I grabbed it. After booking it said they had a fitness area and free breakfast. None of these are true the fitness area is not there and they only serve coffee. In fairness probably due to post Covid. Bed was comfortable and it was an ok stay
Greg
The staff at check-in are very welcoming and accommodating the room ready and tidy - the facility is showing its age but was affordable and comfortable
Johnny t
I can’t wait for my next stay!
John
Room was horrible, dirty. Beds completely sunk in. I had two employees spend 6 days here for work and not once was the room cleaned or beds made or bathrooms cleaned. Upon arrival, there were piles of hairs in the bathroom along the walls and around and on the toilet, the floors were gross and dirty. I would never stay here or recommend it. I've seen shelters in better shape than this. Campground bathrooms are cleaner than this... Certainly need a disinfecting shower after staying here.
Jason
Quiet , clean hotel
Ross
Decent place for a night's stay.
Samir

Waste of time booking here
Booked a pet friendly room. After over 8 hours of driving to get there, they said there’s no way I could’ve booked a pet friendly room… because they’re sold out. So we stayed at Quality inn and it was cleaner and nicer and friendlier staff
