I was very disappointed with my experience. Before our arrival, I made countless attempts to contact the property through their website, email, and phone, but I never received a response.
When we arrived, the front desk was closed. I called every phone number listed, but no one answered. Our room key had simply been taped to a door with no check-in process or instructions. When I finally managed to speak with someone, I was told that no one spoke English, which made resolving any issues extremely difficult.
The room itself was also disappointing. There were ants throughout the room, and it was so small that it was difficult to walk between the bed and the desk.
Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and the condition of the room made for a very frustrating stay. I would not choose to stay here again.

Avis mitigé sur ce lieu. L'emplacement est très charmant au bord de la rivière et le restaurant est tout à fait convenable. Un peu déçu du support par téléphone qui m'a été offert lorsque j'ai appelé deux fois dans la semaine. Les infos étaient parfois inexactes voire contradictoires. Il m'a été indiqué que la réception de l’hôtel ferme à 20h30 le vendredi mais que des enveloppes à nos noms seraient disponibles pour accéder à nos chambres. Nous sommes arrivés à 21h05 et aucune enveloppe. Nous avons fait le tour vers le restaurant et sommes tombés sur une personne qui nous a dit que la réception venait de fermer à 21h. Rien n'avait été préparé à l'avance et nous avons du attendre près de 10 minutes pour avoir nos cartes ! Pas très grave tout ça, mais des manques de communication évidente et un accueil assez froid. A peu près la même attitude très froide lors de notre départ samedi matin.

The room felt neglected and beds were being so uncomfortable! We’ve booked a queen size bed room but when we arrived we found a tiny twin bed. The guy who was at the reception tried to convince us that it is a queen 😂 nice try! If you have nowhere else to stay, I guess for one night it’s fine.

The man who received us when we arrived was very helpful and courteous and gave us a good room that fitted our needs. Thanks! It was quiet in our bedroom through the night, which is a bit weird since the hotel is located right on the highway. The scenery in the ack yard is very good and we enjoyed watching the sunset. My only complaint is that most of the drivers in this area are very impatient and like to speed. I always had somebody tailing me closely when we drove to LaTuque and going home today right until we hit hwy 55.

Pleasant two nights' stay by the river.
Specious clean relatively newly renovated room. Walks out to the green backyard. Direct access to the river through the backyard. There are Muskoka chairs to sit and relax by the river. Room had all amenities expect a microwave. Bathroom was very specious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced. There is a gas station just on the other side of the road.

Beautiful property to stay at, however, we were not happy about how rushed out the door we were by the hotel staff. We still had an hour left of our stay, yet the staff were trying to get into our room to clean it before we had all our stuff! I was still collecting my things in the hotel, when a staff all of a sudden entered the room (he thought we were done I guess). What if i was in the middle of changing my outfit and I was baked? I have never felt so rushed out the door like that at a hotel.

very nice hotel in the woods. I loved the drive to the hotel, one side is the river and the other side is the mountain/bushes. Stayed there for 1 night and drove to Montreal. Driving out was even more beautiful, we stopped at one of the parking lots and the scenery was amazing!

A deep, thorough cleaning from top to bottom is urgently needed, along with fresh paint and proper upkeep to bring this hotel to a livable standard. Very disappointing experience.

I loved the beautiful trees and the river right next to the property. There is a walkway between chairs and it is great for a view or pictures! There is a gas station right next to the hotel, which is super convenient if you ever forget something. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, and the food is decent, a tad bit expensive, but decent. They speak fluent French there, but some employees speak some English as well, so if you’re an English speaker you’ll feel a little out of place, but you can get the help you need. I will say the beds had some hair on them, and the TV didnt work, but other than that, very pleasant stay, and I would absolutely stay again.

The rooms that are the closest to the kitchen are not quiet in the morning because we can hear the noise coming from it. But the night was very quiet.
The room floor was sticky but the mattress was very confortable. The river is nice but you don’t really see it from the room even if you have a \"river view\" room.

Check in was a breeze. The staff was extremely caring from the front desk receptionist to the restaurant staff. I had surgery, so I have no voice. Everyone was so helpful and made sure I was taken well care of. The receptionist even gave me a little handwritten note thanking me for being a nice guest. She made sure the waitress in the restaurant knew of my problem. The waitress was also very attentive and very sweet. I love this hotel

Perfectly suited to what we wanted, as we travel to photograph wildlife and are not \"into\" cities. The only slight issue was that, in Quebec, for political reasons (I can only assume that as every other country in the world uses common sense) signs, including road signs, are not repeated in English. If you have no knowledge of French this can be dangerous in some circumstances, and does not allow compliance with hotel regulations unless there is an English-speaking member of staff present.

The room given to us was way too small, the beds are totally uncomfortable which the next day I woke up with back pain, I couldn't sleep at all.

Place is always very busy with restaurant traffic but they are very accomidating for there hotel guests. Easy and plenty of parking. Very nice view of the beautiful river out back. Rooms are very nice and clean with new bathrooms.

Good food and a good room for the price. We always stop here to eat by snowmobile. We wanted to try it by motorcycle and spend the night. Beautiful area along the Saint-Maurice River, Wifi but no cell service.
