A little gem in Provence!
Lou Paradou was a beautiful aparthotel in a gorgeous little town. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the pool area was really nice and well maintained. The breakfast was always well stocked and there was plenty of choice every day. I would 100% recommendation this hotel and would return if was visiting Provence again!

It would have been a perfect stay if not for certain things that reflected the lack of care in a hotel that could have been great. This boutique hotel was nestled in nature - and was a lovely stroll to the closest village with food options galore, parks, quaint shops & market stalls that you could lose yourself in. Our disappointments: We entered the room & kicked off our shoes to find our feet immediately coated with dust. The toilet was dirty - the cleaner literally missed a yucky spot. The door handle fell off and we realised that the handle was attached loosely, which meant that the room was not secure. We brought the handle to the reception desk twice, and it was on the second day that the door was fixed. On the second day, we came back to a room that was half made - the sheets were haphazardly thrown over the bed and still creased from the night before. The staff service was very inconsistent. We had one friendly receptionist and the rest of them looked either bored or grim. I read the mostly amazing reviews about this hotel, hence I booked the room. It was quite disappointing.

Lovely hotel which - based on the photos - has recently been refurbished. Our ground floor room was comfortable and the facilities great. Handy to be able to self cater for some meals. Breakfast not cheap, although fairly standard price for hotels in a south of France, there were plenty of options. The staff were lovely and happy to help - especially grateful for the out of hours assistance when I’d managed to accidentally lock myself out of the room. The hotel is just a short walk in to town and well located for traveling around the area too.

Short drive to the breathtaking Gorge du Verdon
The price and location are good. We enjoyed the coziness of the hotel. The staff do not speak much of English, but it was fine for us, since I was able to communicate in French. I recommend this hotel, if you plan on visiting Gorge du Verdon. You will have about 45 minutes drive to the famous scenery of the gorges.

Delightful find in the heart of Provence
Another delightful find on our journey through Provence. I should give it top rating across the board, but just before we had stayed in a chateau! The location is magnificent, the staff friendly and I loved the "honor library" where one could leave one's read books and take another paperback. Altogether, would highly recommend. One could base here and explore.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße und man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im Ort mit Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es gibt eine kleine Sauna für zwei Personen und ein Dampfbad. Das Dampfbad haben wir allerdings sofort wieder verlassen, da es sehr unangenehm gerochen hat.

Sehr netter Empfang und Service während des Aufenthalts. Zimmer waren sauber. Vor allem das Badezimmer und die Küchenzeile waren neu. Das WC müffelt, es ist aber separat und wenn man die Türe geschlossen hält, merkt man davon nichts im Zimmer. Das Licht im Zimmer ist dunkel und im EG kam auf unserer Seite des Gebäudes auch sonst nicht so viel Licht herein. Aussen müsste das Hotel dringend erneuert werden. Frühstücksraum ist modern und freundlich mit Terasse. Das Frühstück selbst ist in Ordnung. Etwas wenig Auswahl. Hunde sind sehr willkommen und kosten nur 6€ pro Nacht.
