A wow stop over

Not your usual stop over hotel, this seems to be a wedding venue that also lets rooms when they can. The house and grounds are amazing and a real privilege to visit. Friendly staff. Couldn’t get the EV charging to work, seemed to be an older Tesla charger.

Grounds, pool and play area lovely just what we needed as a base to explore France for the week. Staff friendly from owner to grounds maintenance.
Stayed in the standard house and we were left to enjoy our stay. Standard house would benefit from a a little DIY but didn’t affect day to day living and was very clean. Noyon with in easy reach and can recommend fruit from the farm sign posted off the road on the way to Noyon. Tourist information office in Noyon very useful.

The property is in the French countryside. The chateau itself is beautiful and the surroundings are gorgeous. There are several restaurants in Noyon close by. The folks who run the chateau are great and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. We stayed in the bungalow this time and it was perfect for us and felt really clean and spacious and very well thought out. The pool was a little cold but my kids loved it.

Great central location for visiting Picardy. The property has charm and character and an excellent restaurant within it’s grounds. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. However , there are a couple of things which may cause disappointment to some guests ie our room didn’t have a wardrobe which resulted in all our clothes hanging on a couple of hooks in the bathroom. We managed but it wasn’t very good. Also , when the main house is full of guests, the stairs are very noisy. Our patio was excellent but would have been even more used if it was better equipped with sun loungers and umbrella .

Upgraded to a big unit.
Mid january, and it was so busy that I received a complete bungalow instead of the standard room I booked. this was complete with a full kitchen and a real nice big bathroom.
The Manager was realy nice to me for the above, and tried to do everithing to help all her guests !

Standard French breackfast in the Chateau in the morning was included and good !

Nice single night stay !

Beautiful,good value, but could have been better

We booked to stay in the house, a self catering stop in the trip back to the tunnel from the south, but, there had been an issue with booking and we were given two separate rooms. Which were OK, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. The rooms were in a larger house adjacent to the car park.
It’s just a good job we ate before arriving because the restaurant was not open.
It’s a beautiful place to stay, but just fell short if what we’d hoped for.

Slightly disappointing

Chateau was beautiful but the bungalow we stayed in wasn't so good. It had a kitchen with lots of pots and pans but no kettle or crockery, and only one glass. For accommodation sleeping 6 that's not exceptible. The bathroom had a bath with a shower but it was so low on the wall you had to sit down to use it. Really out dated. Staff were friendly, Breakfast which was included was tasty and having use of the swimming pool were the good points.

A bit of faded grandeur

A real find in a country location not far from civilisation with spacious rooms, modern plumbing, accessible gardens and some real ambiance. The chateau has been restored tastefully and the owners are attentive without being overbearing. The food was good and real value for money - altogether a relaxing and pleasant start to our holiday.

Overnight stop on long journey from Italy to UK

Hotel is in a quiet spot and possible best in summer time, our visit was late October and used as a stop over for 1 night, although unique in the antique look the hotel is a bit tired looking would not stay again as the nearest place to have dinner was 10 mins away on a winding road, and did not open until 8pm not good for a weary traveller. Noyon is nearest town this has a wonderful Cathedral, but the rest of the town is dreary.

A hidden gem with a great rate

We were on a road trip through Europe and after a day in Vimy we stayed at the hotel half way to Paris. The hotel is an old chateau. Controlled entrance only and only 4 rooms. The owners were very welcoming. He showed us he room and gave us advice where to go for supper in the close by town named Noyon. The property is just beautiful with ponds and old buildings.

The room was amazing. Old fashion so that it gave you a trip back in time but very comfortable. The bathroom was renovated with a little whirlpool.

In the morning we had breakfast. The owner came out and have us the drinks and chatted a bit with us. He was super friendly and rounded out our great stay. A little hidden gem for very compatible rates!

A little isolated but we knew this, what we would consider typically 'French Chateau' decor with material to the walls and antique furniture, beautiful setting and the people were great. Parking was good, a short drive from Noyon which was also very nice
Shame the pool and tub were closed. Breakfast was good, Only minor fault was no in room beverage/refreshment, otherwise very good all round

Chateau in the country

The chateau has history back to the 12 th century even though this variant was built in -9-9 after being destroyed in WW1. The grounds are well kept and the moat around it makes for a great setting. Our room was large and the bathroom supprisingly modern. Some of the the period furniture was beautiful. Two negatives is that there was no hanging space for clothes and the place is not air conditioned. We were okay as it was not hot but days over 30 could be a problem. The owners were very helpful and the breakfast simple but well presented.
Having to drive 15 minutes to a restaurant was a issue but for a short stay okay. Overall we like the stay. It was something very different to in town hotels.

Tranquil location

The chateau is in an attractive and quiet location with a moat and extensive grounds and my room was spacious had a view over the water . The rooms are furnished to a high standard ; some of the electrical fittings could do with improvement . Breakfast is at a communal table and is of a high standard . The main problem I had was the availability of the owners . When I arrived at 7pm the gates were shut and no-one answered the intercom - I had to telephone to get one of the owners to come back from the village and let me in . I saw other guests arriving later in the evening (by which time I had an entry code) who were in the same situation . Similarly when I came to leave it took a long time to get any attention before I could return my room key.

Don't Stay -Terrible Service and Extremely Rude

Having turned up early we were greeted by locked gates so rang the buzzer. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to answer only to be told, through the locked gates he couldn't let us in. He just kept pointing at the sign on the gate saying check in after 5. He suggested that we go to the next town as they have a bar to get a drink. We then returned just after 5 to be met by closed gates and again it took ages to get a gentleman to finally let us in who then walked away, we assumed that we could go up to the house BUT NO we were met halfway down the drive by another gentleman repeatedly asking how we got in, giving us the impression that he didn't believe us. We were finally allowed in the house, asked our name as he had to check if we really had a booking and shut the door on us. He finally reappeared and said we did have a booking. We asked if there was the possibility of dinner but was told we would have to go out to the next town (the one we had just been to) as they don't provide food however, what time did we want breakfast. We had to be off early to asked if 6 o'clock was possible and he said no problem (we were very surprised!!!). Went up to the room to freshen up only to find that the 1970's plumbing was not working so had to run around in the shower to get wet. Got up early next morning and guess what........... no breakfast and no-one about. We just laughed and left. In all it was an awful end to our trip and wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone.

Hardly a Hotel

The location was nice and the people (owners) were very pleasant. But that's about it.

On arrival our room was on the second floor (no lift) and the person who welcomed us did not offer to carry any of our bags. If you are anywhere close to 6ft tall the bed is useless. It has a footboard and tall people simply don't fit. Worst night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel. No telephone, water or any other amenity in the bedroom. Every single floorboard creaked. We arrived Thursday afternoon and no restaurant or food service of any sort available. We were told the nearest restaurant was 3km away. So other than the breakfast apparently no sort of food or beverage available of any kind.

Wonderful hidden treasure

Loved the rural location and loved the Chateau! Behind a walled garden and a moat, this place is picturesque. We were met by a manager who showed us to the room even though we were checking in late. Breakfast was amazing, fresh coffee, breads, pastries, cheese platter, hams...wonderful! The pool was heated and there was even a hot tub. I wish that we could have stayed longer because it was a pure delight to rest for a couple of days at the Chateau in Norther France. We would book again without hesitation!

Pleasant helpful service in an unusual setting. It is a 'newish' chateau (1919) surrounded by a moat. No restaurant so had to go out for an evening meal but a very pleasant restaurant nearby with excellent service - Auberge au Grisolle.

The chateau is stunning and the grounds even more so. Our room had cushioned silk lined walls and antique furniture including marble-lined drawers!

The price was very reasonable, especially considering how expensively furnished the rooms are, and a traditional French breakfast is included.

I wish I was still there watching the sun burn through the morning mist over the lake!
We will definitely be returning!

La chambre n’était pas dans le château mais dans une dépendance. Aucune vue car vasistas. La tv ne fonctionnait pas, les enfants l’ont regardé sur l’iPhone. TV de bas de gamme. Pas de restaurant, pas de café et/ou thé d’accueil alors qu’indiqué dans les conditions de l'établissement alors que nous sommes dans un 3 étoiles et bien présent dans les chambres du château. Si j’ai choisi cet hébergement c’est pour le château et non pour être à l’écart. La cerise sur le gâteau, il fallait libérer la chambre à 9h ! Alors que les conditions de l’établissement indique 11h ! Uniquement parce que le propriétaire avait un mariage … pendant le petit-déjeuner (petite salle), certains après avoir posé la question, ont reçu la réponse de 10h ou carrément 11h. Donc c’est à la tête du client. Pour un week-end bravo le repos avec un départ a 9h. C’est inadmissible ! On nous a bel et bien mis dehors mais sans oublier de nous faire payer et dès l’arrivée.

Goede locatie om de volgende dag door te rijden naar Disney. Werden vriendelijk ontvangen, en mochten zelfs in het “kasteel” ( zo noemde de kinderen het) slapen. De dame zei dat het gebouw wat we geboekt hadden te koud zou zijn, en we mochten warm in de kamers slapen in het kasteel zelf. Nou dat was een fantastische beleving voor de kinderen, en zag er prachtig uit. We hebben heerlijk geslapen, de bedden niet te hard en niet te zacht, goed formaat en niet te klein. Badkamers waren prima. Camping bedje wat we hadden bijgeboekt werd netjes gebracht, en heerlijk zacht opgemaakt, zoontje heeft er goed in geslapen. Ontbijt was prima, niet heel veel keus, maar genoeg gegeten allemaal. Zouden zeker een keer terug komen hier!

Expedia offrait une réservation avec petit déjeuner inclus...
A l'arrivée, l'hôtel m'a montré le document Expedia qu'ils avaient reçu et indiquant que le petit déjeuner n'était pas inclus (donc pas cohérent avec le document de ma résa !)
J'ai donc payé le petit déjeuner 8 euros, alors qu'il était déjà inclus dans la prestation...
J'ai écrit trois réclamations à l'assistant virtuel d'Expedia mais ce système de communication est une catastrophe car il ne répond pas ou, pire, répond à côté de la question ! (il faut immédiatement cesser ce mode de communication automatique et impersonnel avec les clients, c'est une horreur ! )
Conclusion : J'ai perdu 8 euros et vais désormais éviter Expedia pour mes futurs voyages...
Expedia était sérieux autrefois mais c'est une pagaille monstrueuse aujourd'hui !
Bye bye !

Pour le lieu c est beau et l été ça doit être sympa.

Prachtig mooie ligging, rustieke omgeving. Absoluut waard om voor een paar centen meer iets om te rijden als je op doorreis bent of zomaar een paar dagen weg van alles wilt zijn.
We hadden met 4 personen de beschikking over een huiskamer, complete keuken, 2 badkamers en 4 slaapkamers voor 10 personen.

Vackert ställe men inte en förväntad upplevelse

Väldigt fint och vackert placerat, lätt att ta sig till byar och vidare på dagsutflykter.
Det var över 40grader när vi kom, vi hade ingen AC på rummet och inte heller någon fläkt kunde vi låna till rummet. Vårt rum hade ett litet litet takfönster som hjälpte föga under nätterna där ingen av oss fick särskilt många timmar sömn, det var en olidlig upplevelse. Poolen underlättade på kvällarna medans man badade.
Vi tog frukost bägge dagarna, de sa att det inte spelade någon roll när man kom men bägge dagarna när vi kom strax innan 09 så var flera saker slut och det fylldes inte på vilket man ändå förväntar sig när man betalar för frukost.
Restaurangen hade ok mat men man fick kommunicera med händer och pekande för engelskan var nästan obefintlig.

Le cadre est magnifique. La chambre propre et spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est varié et de qualité. Nous retiendrons surtout l'excellent accueil des propriétaires et notre conversation agréable et instructive avec William. Première expérience en chambre d'hôte concluante. Allez-y les yeux fermés !
