I liked everything very much except, I reserved a garden room to be able to sit out and read and have coffee. From the day I arrived the garden was very dirty with bags of trash, a broom and overflowing cigarettes lots of trash on the ground, I did not use the garden because it was so dirty. I alerted the staff twice to see if someone could clean it. It was still dirty the day I left after three days.

Easy check in (we arrived at past 10pm) and check out. Staff at restaurant were courteous and helpful, and mindful of cleanliness of the restaurant, amenities is basic and minimal. The only downside is the cleanliness of the bathroom. You can see molds and even around the tap rim. The housekeeping in this area is quite poor. But beds and linen are crisp and clean. Good quality of bed and pillows. The hotel generally needs a good skilled repair and maintenance. The location is quite good if you are after a local Korean sites, not touristy.

I am very disappointed with my recent stay and feel compelled to share this complaint publicly.

We encountered serious hygiene issues, including blood stains on a shower towel, which is completely unacceptable. When we complained, the hotel offered two breakfast vouchers as compensation, but the breakfast quality was extremely poor, which was an inadequate offer of compensation given the scale of disturbance.

Communication was another major problem. Staff members did not speak sufficient English, and when we raised our concerns, the apology we received was clearly written using ChatGPT, which felt impersonal and unprofessional rather than a sincere attempt to address our complaints.

We later noticed mold on the blanket. By that time, we were exhausted and did not have the energy to raise yet another complaint. We dont want more meals as we are not complain for free meals.

To make matters worse, our room overlooked ongoing construction works that continued throughout the night until around 3:00 a.m. These works had clearly started long before our stay, yet no effort was made to inform us in advance.

Overall, the lack of hygiene, poor service, inadequate compensation, and constant noise made this stay extremely unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and the amenities are nice. This hotel lacks a laundry facility, so my family had to find a nearby laundromat to wash our clothes. The staff was very helpful and helped us with our requests. The hotel is in a decent location close by Myeong-dong and convenient to get to from Seoul station.

Great property. We loved the area. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I never had a bad experience during our 11 days there. The breakfast was a big plus. It was a good combination of Korean and western options. It was tasty, and even though a bit repetitive (half the items are staples, and half rotate about every 3 days), it was always good. It cut our food bill by eating there and we could spend that money on other fun things. The junior suite was HUGE, and that made a big difference for our stay. We could sprawl out without tripping on each other at the end of the day. It was great to be able to walk to the market a couple blocks away and had access to multiple subway and bus stops very near us. We never once felt unsafe. All this and a reasonable price too. If we come back to Seoul, we would definitely consider coming here again.

Two plus stars hotel ; pictures on web page and Expedia make it look like a 4 star hotel/ Pros- 3 mins to blue line metro, large room, corner room 1001 so had natural light, windows can be opened, AC was good, breakfast was decent but didn’t really change variety, got bottled water refill daily except one day, close to local street market, famous shrine next door, convenient locale
Cons- bathroom needs a renovation; toilet was shaky and not stable, the sink was literally toddler height, bed was a bit hard, shower had mold on seams and door, walls and door had stains, bathroom ceiling paint was cracked and peeling a lot, maid did not change used cups from bathroom and coffee cups, motion detector light near front door would go on in middle of night-hotel staff turned it off when we told them, one day the maid did not take bathroom trash and did not add more toilet tissue

I booked the junior suite. Love the size! Beds are clean and comfortable! Location is good with nearby bus stops, subway station and airport bus stops. It's less crowded neighborhood comparing to MD and Hongdae. Only downside: bathroom is out dated with some molds on the roof. The sink counter is narrow.

We stayed here mainly because it's close to the major palaces, Ikseon-dong Hanok Village and
Insadong Culture Street. The closest subway stations are less than 10 minutes away by walk. The hotel isn't as nice as in the pictures. It's quite old and needs remodeling. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, we just went to the Starbucks next door. There isn't really much to see outside of the hotel but it's quiet. The staff was pretty friendly. The cost was lower than other comparable hotels probably due to its sourroundings and quality of the rooms. I would recommend staying here if you want to save some money and be close to the best cultural spots of Korea.

Hotel Atrium is conveniently located near the bus stop and the metro station so it is easy to get around. Gwangjang Market is super close by and walkable if you want to experience the night market (touristy). The staff was helpful and polite. Would recommend this location to others visiting Seoul.

I am fairly easy going, but this place was old and smelled of wet carpet. I got a non-smoking room but it smelled like people have smoked in there before. The shower curtains were smelly, moldy and pink at the bottom and water got through them and made a mess on the floor. The towels were small and dingy colored. There was not a garden terrace to enjoy. It was just a bunch of untamed plants and one chairs to sit on. It wasnt spacing or clean. Not a place I would go to relax.

Some positives: The \"advertised\" pictures of the property were great. The Air Con works well. The bedding was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was decent. Its around local eateries and convenient stores. Some staff are nice and helpful and some are quite stoic. I will not be staying here again, nor would i recommend it.

HoteI charged a 4 star rate, but I was overcharged. lt wants to be a 3 star, but isn't. I'm kind to rate it a 2 star. I even had to plead with the front desk for a bottle of water. The room was designed more like a prison cell than a hotel room. However, I must write that it was really well located.and allowed me to walk to most of the tourist places I wanted to visit in the center of Seoul.

This hotel was in a very convenient location. One can easily get to this hotel from the airport by train or by airport bus. An interesting place to visit is Gwangjiang market which is right at the hotel's door steps & the popular Dongdaemun market is just one train stop away. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and they said it's impossible to have an earlier check in. However they let me put my bag at a safe place behind the counter. The room was clean & bed comfortable. Not sure why but whenever I shower, although I had the door tightly closed, water still leaked out & made the floor mat soaking wet. Also one early morning, even before I was ready to go downstairs for breakfast, a lady rang the bell & asked to clean my room. I told her I'm not ready yet & she left. I stayed at the hotel for 3 days & had to leave very early morning to catch my flight. As my room rate included breakfast, I asked the front desk whether I could have a small container of food, like a simple sandwich with a piece of fruit but they said there's no such service. I have no complaints and I understand that's the hotel policy. I totally recommend this hotel but just bear in mind if you need to leave before breakfast time, book a night without breakfast may save a bit of money.

It was nice enough, the staff is very helpful. There are some very useful automated kiosks in the lobby for purchasing things while staying in Korea including a money exchange machine. The rooms could use a more deep cleaning like under the bed and behind room furniture but everything else was clean. The wifi seems a bit unsecured though, since there is no password to gain access... anyways I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. The surrounding area is fun at night and very lively.

Hotel Atrium is accessible via different train stations--and walking distance from all of them (ranging from 5 mins to 10 mins). The staff were able to look after our luggage before checking in and after checking out. Also, they assisted in booking us a taxi service and managing a reservation for a restaurant.

The location is nearby Gwangjang Market and there are other restaurants and grocery stores within reach (Starbucks is very near).

The room we stayed in was spacious and had an international outlet and USB ports. I wish though the bedside lamps have USB ports too! This is petty: I wish the main front door is automatic so it'll be easier for someone to haul in their luggage through and not struggle (these doors are glass and heavy).

We opted to avail the breakfast during our stay, but the menu stayed the same; delicious nonetheless.

In summary: book your room in this hotel and Seoul is within reach.

I checked in on Christmas eve at 11am. I told the front desk that I have 5 members though I booked a 4 person room. The front desk guy sacastically asked \"if I am kidding\". I am ready for pay for extra pax and we prefer to stay as a family. I think customer service should explain policy politely and not mock at your customer.
