The room was clean. The A/C vent was placed in the small hallway and there was no A/C vent in the room so the room was very hot! The cold air from the hallway would not reach the room. I don't understand who would design it that way. The bathroom was very small and the shower even smaller that I could hardly fit, I had to stand sideways. Overall not a good experience. Very disappointed.

Hotel London is an excellent place to stay that is not far from Athens. The beach is nearby and the city center is in close proximity. The staff is friendly, as well as, helpful, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. I personally love their Greek yogurt with walnuts, fruit and honey. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant with a sunset that will take your breath away. If you want to see Athens, I suggest that you stay at the Hotel London. Public transit is readily available for a visit to the Acropolis, museums, etc.

Rooftop Restaurant and Spectaular Sunsets!

This hotel has amazing views from the rooftop. The rooftop restaurant had amazing food and the sunset was one to remember! On-site free parking. Good security, easy location to reach. Very close (2 minute walk) to a nice beach and close to their beaches by car.

Very pleasant property with friendly staff at check-in. The rooftop restaurant was closed for the season when I arrived, but the free breakfast was amazing… Several hot dishes, veggies, fruit, bread, pastries, cereal, coffee machine with lots of options and juice. Room did not have a kettle for hot water when I arrived, but they brought one up after I requested it. Just a five minute walk to the beach With good swimming conditions and clear water, which is what I was looking for after several nights in Athens. The great breakfast really makes this a good value… Highly recommend!

Stayed there for 10 days. Positives were that it's quite clean, very good in-house restaurant and breakfast options, 2 petrol garages next door to hotel so food and water easy to buy, and had a good bus stop and tram system near.

Negatives were the room need a bit of modernising (small fridge, bathroom). Breakfast staff a bit finicky when it comes to payment. Glyfada beach nearby wasnt great as doesn't cater well for tourists (ie you have to bring your own sunbed, drinks and food)!

Overall though, a good stay for small families, very clean.

Avoid - very dated - my room stank of cigarette smoke despite requesting non smoking. View from balcony was of a petrol station forecourt. Walls paper thin. Along a business road. My advice would be to spend more and stay elsewhere - you really do get what you pay for.

The LondonHotel in Glifada Athens they are advertising to the customers They are full open,, but after you book the rooms you will get a big surprise, they change me for another hotel in central of Glifada all most 1 miles to the beach, i call LONDON HOTEL and they reply the hotel is closed during covid 19 and they are transfering the customers to another hotel with out give them any information about,, 😢

Beautiful Hotel at a prime location.

One night in my way to Cairo, Glyfada is my favourite stop and London Hotel is the perfect choice to enjoy it. Steps from nice beach and a tram or bus station that takes you anywhere you want in Glyfada and beyond.
The staff are always friendly and make you feel at home. Most of the rooms have amazing views, vey clean and comfortable.
It was not my first stay at London Hotel and looking forward to my next.

London Hotel , Glyfada

The London hotel in Glyfada is well situated in relation to the beaches and town city centre , my room was with a balcony where I could see the sea at distance , comfort in the room was acceptable and AC was good . Staff were helpful in guiding us to places we wanted to visit . Breakfast is good and satisfactory . The only drawback to me was the freeway passing in front of the hotel making the hotel terrace noisy .

The rooms are horrific definitely not like the pictures I only stayed because I needed to rest before my next flight. The first room they had for us the glass door was broken we asked for another room and the guy at the front desk instead tried to go and fix the door and looked so dumb because obviously there was no fixing it and tried to tell us that they would call someone to come fix it so I went back to the front desk and told the other lady was there that I just wanted a refund and I want to leave so she said hold on let me make a phone call and I guess she got us another room on the 3rd floor but we had to wait 20 minutes till it was ready so we sat down and service lady came to us asked if we wanted anything to drink my husband asked for a coffee and when went to pay for it she said it’s on the front desk lady that helped us so we were like wow okay so after we went to the room ugh it’s just so disappointing how ugly their rooms were they had drinking water cups ON THE SINK COUNTER IN THE BATHROOM I was mind blown all we wanted was just to get out of there so we left our stuff went to the beach came back to take a shower the towels had rust stains on them the air conditioning system was so old we had on the lowest temperature probably 0 and still the room smelled like rust and the beds squeak. I’m sorry but no this is a no for $90 dollars a night hell no!

But the facility is I desperately in need of a update and new furniture and bedding.
Also no AC per room it’s one central unit and even though you have a control in the room if the main unit is not on as for my recent stay you only get just air.
I have stayed at this property on several other occasions, it’s a moderately priced but I would have thought over the years that some updates would have been done to keep up with the times.
Overall just an OK clean place !

The hotel we usually stay at was booked out. Even though the London Hotel is a little further away from the Glyfada centre, our room was very quiet and comfortable, toiletries and slippers were provided and a full buffet breakfast was included in the already reasonable tariff. We would certainly consider staying at the London Hotel again.

Very poor hotel for the money. Room smelled of cigarette smoke (even the next day with windows open. When discussed with staff the manager shrugged his shoulders and continued to read his paperwork. Said it was high season and what did I except him to do. Asked for another room and dismissively said \"I told you it was High Season\" and thus we have no other rooms. It wasn't a language barrier because I'm Greek and we went over it several times in Greek and English.

Poor hotel even by Greek standards. TV barley worked. Wall paper coming off the walls. Bathroom that was built for a submarine.

Two words. Stay away.

Good option for the last night stay in Athens

London Hotel is conveniently located in Glyfada away from the Athens traffic and close to the airport so we chose it for our last night before departure from Greece.
Our triple room was clean, spacious and functional. Bath drain plug was missing, but everything else worked. There was a little balcony with clothes drying rack.
Breakfast buffet was luxurious.
The hotel is in the middle of the residential area, so there are not many dining options within walking distance. Hotel's restaurant is very nice, but the prices are higher than what I was used to in Greece. I could justify it if the rooftop was open, but out of season the food is served on the lobby level.
The hotel is marked as having parking on Expedia, however the hotel's own parking is extremely limited (3-4 cars). I have chose this hotel partly because of the parking availability so this was little disappointing to me.
There is a coastal tram station close to hotel and tram runs to the center of Athens.

When in Athens we always stay here. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The sea-view rooms are large and comfortable.The hotel is very convenient to the tram into Athens proper and to downtown Glyfada restaurants. The breakfast options are extensive but pretty ordinary.

The only downsides were the small balcony and noise from motorcycles \"opening it up\" from the busy street below. The city needs a noise bylaw. Excellent breakfast, good WiFi, comfortable hotel. Easy to get to Athens by tram #5 or bus A2, short 5 min walk. Tip, you can purchase bus tickets on the tram platform.
Hotel is 3 blocks from the beach/harbour, convenience store next door, very safe. Shopping in Glyfada is a 15 walk along the beach, or €1.40 bus or tram ride.

Quick overnight in Glyfada

The hotel has a rooftop terrace restaurant which was very convenient, since we arrived tired from the airport. Service was quick and the food was tasty- nothing fancy. The hotel staff, however, underestimated the time it would take for a cab ride to Piraeus the next morning. Because of the mistake, we missed our boat and had to spend the day in Piraeus waiting for the evening boat!!

This is one of our favorite hotels in the Athens area. Transportation to and from the airport is easy via X96 bus, and it is located very close to two tram stops.The hotel serves a huge breakfast. What makes the London Hotel so special is the service provided by the front desk personnel.

Good experience very nice hotel 5minutes from beach, tram service runs along the beach very helpful getting about, very friendly hotel great staff good english speaking.
Only downside it's on a busy noise main road, it can be noisey at night as they have large groups of visitors apart from that no complaints..........
