The hotel was very close to all tourist attraction area.
staff and cleanliness was excellent.
One negative point was not having hair conditioner.
One bottle of material was supposed to use as shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We felt Alvaro was extremely helpful guiding us on choices of vegan restaurants, and the staff were helpful and polite. The location is fantastic, with the only drawback that construction has affected the street temporarily.

We found this boutique hotel quaint, clean, and charming! The staff were the most helpful we encountered in Spain. We especially enjoyed sitting in the little courtyard in the center of the hotel drinking coffee. From the hotel, we walked over the bridge to the Trianna district where there were many restaurants. We also walked to numerous sites and shops with ease. Love Taberna del Alabardero!

Good location. Great character hotel with lovely original features. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Essentially this a gastronomic restaurant and cookery school with seven hotel rooms. It has a lovely roof terrace which opens when the temperature is warmer, in February the evening temperature falls sharply so it wasn’t open when I was there.
Only complaint was the breakfast which was limited, surprising for a establishment which has such a reputation for it’s cuisine.

The property is in a great location. Staff are friendly, and helpful to an extent. Don’t expect staff to speak English well or have much concierge service. The rooms could use renovation and much better beds (as do many hotels in Europe). I would stay there again, but it is not a four star facility.

We loved staying here. The location was great, staff was friendly, restaurant was terrific. The room itself was a little dated - but very comfortable, and the AC worked AMAZINGLY well (best in Spain), which was nice because it was really hot out when we were there in August.

Hotel with traditional Spanish architecture and an eye-catching interior above a noisy cafe downstairs. Very helpful staff. Parking through a narrow alleyway and a very small elevator. Very small room. A la carte breakfast. Walking distance to city center.

place is a cooking and hospitality school, so hit and miss as newer staff doesn’t always follow through. For example, we asked twice for shampoo and conditioner but it did not arrive.
Breakfast for guests of 12 euros but we ate light so they charged us less.

Stuck up and unfriendly stafg

This is a boutique hotel with a few guest rooms on top of a nice restaurant. Centrally located and beautiful layout in a Spanish building. Room is clean and bed very comfortable. Easy walk to downtown.

Service is non-existence. The staff is running the restaurant. There is a small office in the building but no one was there most of the time. We had breakfast included but felt that we were treated like nuisance. We had to order from a small menu. They brought us a small portion of everything and never asked if we wanted more coffe or juice or offered an extra piece of bread. This is a fancy restaurant that the staff behaved as if they were better than the guests. They seemed stuck-up and unfriendly. You pay for the location and nice room. You are on your own after checking in. Not worth it unless you want to be treated as nuisance.

Outstanding - we loved it!

We loved this beautiful little boutique hotel in the old city of Seville. The staff were wonderful, the facilities charming and perfectly located for us to wander the streets of old Seville. Off-street parking was a real bonus. Unfortunately our budget didn't stretch far enough to enjoy the temptations of the 5 star restaurant, but we will definitely try it on our next visit to beautiful Seville.

A precious jewqel in Sevilla!

This is a lovely 7-room historic hotel that is attached to a Taverna and restaurant. The location is quite excellent, being about 3 blocks from the cathedral, about 4blocks from the river and about three blocks from the most popular shopping area. Lovely antique furnishings, great whirlpool baths, wonderful staff and a fabulous 3-course lunch offered by the associated catering school. Very reasonable price in my opinion!

Central hotel with character

A beautiful restored building around an amazing covered central courtyard. The 8 guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. The ground floor is a lobby/bar/bistro, the 1st floor is a restaurant. Yes, it is noisey. Doors will bang shut too as guests return to their rooms. Quietens down quickly after midnight. So, what you expect in a typical small city centre hotel. Staff helpful. Beds were hard - not a problem for me - but may be for others. Room was good size, very clean with good bathroom. View from window was uninspiring and WiFi was rubbish unfortunately. Oh, why no kettles for guests? Had a meal in the Bistro - not bad at all. Within easy walking distance from the main city sights. Seville has great sites. If visiting the Alcazar (a must) book online to avoid queues and take the first opportunity to see the Royal apartment; it can close with no warning/explanation. On the minus side, don't expect drinkable tea in Seville, so keep to coffee. Local taxi drivers there are simply dangerous madmen. Public transport also not great. So, walk everywhere if you can.

Traditional hotel in old Seville

There are smarter hotels nearby, but once you are inside them you could be anywhere, this feels very traditional Spanish. The room was spacious clean and comfortable though the outlook was best ignored. The breakfasts were acceptable, served - rather than buffet -but there was no problem if you wanted more of anything and the service was very good. The restaurant was good, again the service was very good and it appears to be very popular with locals (apart from on Monday when we were the only people in there!). The tapas on the ground floor was OK though with so many excellent tapas bars on the doorstep I would go elsewhere.

Very comfortable room and very clean. Service was good and excellent breakfast. The room was small but it was an economy so can't really expect more. The only odd thing was parking. The hotel has its own underground car park so not sure why they charge €19 to park. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Old-style comfort in central location

The hotel is very conveniently located near key attractions in the center of the city, with many excellent restaurants and lots of shopping within easy walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and its amenities are a bit old-style, owing to the original house and the way breakfast and other services are provided, but it was charming. The room was comfortable and very quiet. Wifi, unfortunately, was pretty weak and unusable on the phone or tablet. Parking in the garage, which can only be reached via a lift, was a bit challenging.

The room faced an inner courtyard so quite dark. That was ok, but bed was the hardest we've been on yet, bedding old, pillows thin, decor pretty bad and not overly clean. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast but very skimpy. The waiters were very pleasant. We felt it was overpriced.

Very beautiful hotel, magnificently designed and decorated. The staff is the best I have ever come across for service, charm and efficiency. The atmosphere and staff are \"classy\" formal yet smiling and warm. The guests are comfortable in anything from tee shirts to suits or shorts to dresses. The restaurant is exceptional for the beautiful setting, excellent food, unparalleled service and fine beverage list. You can't go wrong! It's all here and it's all wonderful. The desk will arrange anything that can be arranged for you, taxis, bus, train tickets, etc., etc., and of course directions and info. This is THE place in Seville! English was more than adequate.

City centre gold mine.

We knew the location would be good for walking into the city, & the decor typically Spanish & stunning, but we didn't expect the vehicle lift down to the car park, or that the hotel doubled as a school for budding chefs, waiters & staff or anyone wanting to know how to cook Paella. Nor did we expect the room air con. to be quite so efficient at night. The welcome was very good, friendly & helpful. Anna, the Receptionist, accompanied us & our motorbike down into the car park, waited for us to unload & then showed us to our room. Brilliant. Service from all staff was friendly & efficient, even if they mixed up Sardines & Anchovies. Despite that the food was excellent as was the wine, and the G&Ts were awesome (\"say when\", as he pours gin over loads of ice). Suffice to say that we shall be staying again.

great hotel in a marvelous city

very nice hotel located in the center of the historic district of the city. The staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. apparently, this hotel is also training center for the culinary arts. The roof top restaurant was excellent! The only limitation is shotty Wi-Fi service otherwise, I think the juice is worth the squeeze on this one.

We rented the room basically for a place to lay our heads at night, because, during the day, we were out and about... but...

One night, when we were leaving the tapas bar and wanted another drink (all the places were closing about 12PM), we walked into the hotel (empty dining area) and asked the desk clerk if they would serve us a drink and a bite to eat. Without a bat of an eye, he said \"of course\". So, we got a couple of drinks (the last ones we took to the room) and a bite to eat. We were surprised that they treated us to food and drink at that time of the night, especially, since the tapas bars were closing and the hotel dining room appeared to be closed as well.

Suffice it to say, we enjoyed our stay...

Fantastic Location, Very private

Beautiful old city views from rooftop patio. Very private as this is really a restaurant with only 6 or 7 rooms on the top floor. Very central location, especially for Holy Week processions that passed outside the front door, and visible from the rooftop, during our stay. Excellent gourmet breakfast included in room price.

The staff are very friendly and service is kind.
Our stay was very special thanks to David! David greeted us, welcomed us, parked our car, walked us to our room carrying our luggage, explained about the hotel, gave us great recommendations for our stay (food, sights)! All of that was done in a very comfortable and friendly attitude. He made us feel so welcome we couldn't thank him enough. This guy is a real treasure!

Great stay in cozy hotel

This small hotel is centrally located so that you can walk to all major attractions and good restaurants/bars. We reserved the junior suite which has a small sofa, table and television adjoining the room. The room was clean and the linens were of good quality and very clean. The room has a feel of old spain with wood chest and old fashioned closets. The bathroom is very nice and updated but still with a nice flair to it. The breakfast which was included is excellent and the pastries/jams/breads are made by the cooking school students. Delicious. The air conditioning in the room was working properly (coming from Florida we appreciate a cool room). I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone that ones to stay somewhere with a romantic touch to it. Also excellent front desk staff.

The best little hotel in the heart of old Sevilla

The Taberna Allabardero was the loveliest hotel, ideally located and with the best service we have encountered so far in Spain. The staff is truly helpful and friendly, the food is delicious, a one star restaurant in the Michelin Guide, and the location couldn't be better. I would certainly recommend it without any hesitation.

L'hôtel est très joli et plutôt bien situé, dans un quartier calme mais à proximité des sites principaux. En revanche, la chambre n'était pas propre, le sol était sale, des déchets oubliés par terre, cheveux sur le coussin... La fenêtre était quasiment impossible à ouvrir et peu pratique. Surtout, beaucoup trop de lumière dans la chambre la nuit car une petite fenêtre donne sur le couloir qui reste allumé toute la nuit. Il y a également beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à la fermeture du restaurant le soir.
