Magic location !

Overall good hotel, seems some small maintenance was lacking. but we received an upgrade to a room with better Airco and a fantastic breakfast ! very close to Ferrari Factori, store and museum.

Beautiful, centrally located.

We were only here for one night before we left very early for a flight. We wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very helpful, our room was great! Highly recommend room 501 if you’re an F1 fan as the balcony overlooks the Ferrari F1 factory.

Pretty good for cost

The location for a F1 fan is brilliant, the junior suite layout is fantastic, breakfast area a bit small. Could do with a bit of sprucing up but overall wonderful for a family

Nice hotel within walking distance of museum

Hotel rooms were wonderful. The triple had more than enough room for 3 adults. The staff is friendly, but had limited information about surrounding area and transportation. Good experience, but would recommend others to do their own research before getting to the hotel.

Great Location

This was a great hotel was across the road from main train station which made it extremely easy to get to from the airport and also when checking out and travelling by train to our next destination. Also the hop on hop off stop and shopping outlet buses stop out the front. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again.

Was a one night stay over for the Ferrari museum. Had everything we needed. My only complaint would be the main bed, which has no headboard, instead a flat piece of wood level with the mattress.

Convinient and comfy hotel

Hotel is a great for what we wanted a hotel close to the musem we had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the factory so hubby was a happy man . The breakfast choice was typocal european but good , all in all would reccomend .

If you're going to Maranello for anything Ferrari-related, you gotta stay here. It's located between the main factory gates and the new F1 team headquarters, above the flagship Ferrari store and only a couple blocks from the museum. It's comfortable, each room has a nice small balcony, a nice bathroom and the free daily breakfast was great as well.

Everything about the hotel was good, and it was very convenient to our destination. We had a lovely room. The only down side to this location is very limited places to eat. The hotel did offer a nice complimentary glass of wine and light snacks in the evening.

If you are a Ferrari fan and want to be as close to the F1 team's headquarters as possible, the Planet is for you. It is basic but clean. Has friendly staff and a good continental breakfast; a café downstairs (Red Planet Café) which does good coffees, pastries and sandwiches and the hotel is walking distance from some good Italian restaurant.

Ferrari lovers will love this place

The hotel was chosen because it's opposite the Ferrari factory (visitor not an owner, unfortunately!), hence the top score on neighbourhood. However the hotel was absolutely dead and apart from the very helpful staff on reception the place looked abandoned - this is not really a criticism but was a little odd. For visitors to Ferrari this is THE place to stay.

Nice comfortable Hotel directly across from the Ferrari factory and on top of the Ferrari Store.

It is classed as a 4 star but I don't agree but this is a Europe rating so take that into account.

Nevertheless it is centrally located to the factory and all other sites you want to see.

We had a nice view of the new F1 division and the roar of Ferraris driving past was awesome.

Hotel staff very helpful and would stay there again.

All about location

Loved the location of this hotel but wished it was updated. The main reason most tourists visit this city is for the Ferrari experience. The Planet Hotel is walking distance to the main attractions ... couldn't ask for more re location. Unfortunately it is in need of some TLC. The room was \"clean\" but the carpet was disgusting.

Great stay in Maranello Italy!

Came here with the family for the Ferrari museum tour and had a birds eye view of the Ferrari campus/factory. The fifth floor of the hotel where the family size rooms are located were great, there is a loft in the room where the kids stayed and a balcony with views of the Ferrari factory. Breakfast was wonderful, also a barista to make whatever type of coffee you desired. The staff spoke very good english and were very helpful.

Great Location for Ferrari Activities

Overall this was a great experience. We were visiting the Ferrari Factory on Friday, September 19, 2014, and also visited the Enzo Museum and the Panini Museum in Modena. This hotel is located across the street from the entrance to the Ferrari Factory and about two blocks from the museum. At the Ferrari Museum you can catch the Happy Circle shuttle that will take you to the Enzo Museum in Modena and back for 12 Euro. They also have tours to other museums, such as the Panini Museum. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that they told us we would have a view of the Fiorano track even when we checked in. Well Ferrari is building an F1 building between the hotel and the track, and there is no way any of the lower rooms (or possibly any rooms) have a view of the track. When we brought this up the front desk assistant first insisted there was a partial view (there wasn't), and then said we would have to upgrade to the junior suite. When we asked her if the junior suite really had a view of the track, it sounded like it really didn't. I'm not sure why they insist there is a view of the track, and then admit there isn't. This is still the best location for a Ferrari vacation.

Best Hotel for a Ferrari Fan

What could be better for a Ferrari Fan to wake up to the sound of Ferraris going around the test track. Ferrari store attached to hotel and entire place is themed for the F1 fan. Hotel is very comfortable and the staff are excellent and always willing to help. Taxi from the Modena train stationonly takes 20-30 min ans was reasonably priced. Only slight down side is the wifi is spotty, at least it was on the 4th floor. In the lobby it was fine. We will stay there again and recommend it highly.

L’hotel è sicuramente ottimo nella struttura e negli arredamenti. Gravi disservizi per ciò che riguarda il riscaldamento che nonostante le ripetute richieste di attivazione, è rimasto comunque spento nonostante la temperatura lo richiedesse. Personale non sempre consapevole della situazione ( prima comunicato che bastava attivare il termostato, poi comunicato che l’impianto era spento, poi comunicato che sarebbe stato attivato a breve , cosa mai avvenuta)

Si respira Ferrari ovunque.

Uno spettacolo! L’hotel è situato davanti allo stabilimento Ferrari! In ogni angolo della struttura, ma anche in tutta Maranello, si respira il profumo di Ferrari. Sono stato diverse ore ad osservare lo stabilimento dal terrazzo. E questa è solo la posizione dell’hotel. In ogni centimetro quadrato della struttura vi è un riferimento alla Ferrari, foto di piloti, libri, modellini di auto, e molto altro! Ah si c’è anche lo staff gentile e premuroso ma è solo un dettaglio. Il rosso impera ovunque. Le camere, molto accoglienti ed altrettanto pulite, anche loro sono solo un dettaglio. Ci prenderei la residenza!
Maranello poi è incredibile, sembra un box di F1 a cielo aperto! In ogni angolo, via, viale e piazza vi è un simbolo Ferrari!

Vor allem fanden wir es hervorragend, dass uns auf Mail-Anfrage eine Taxiabholung und auch ein Rücktransfer zum Flughafen zu einem fairen Preis organisiert wurde. Weiterhin ist die zentrale Lage des Hotels hervorragend geeignet, um auf kurzen Wegen die Ferrari Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen.

La chambre était très grande avec une mezzanine mais il manquait une tenture et les lits était dur et peut confortable. Il y avait bien vue sur l'usine, par contre la vue sur la piste de Fiorano est un attrape touriste, en cherchant bien on ne pouvait que apercevoir un petit morceau des pneus en bord de piste dans un virage. Mais super emplacement au-dessus du Ferrari Store, à coté de l'usine et à à peine deux minutes du musée !

Personale veramente molto cortese, sia nel dare informazioni, che nell'aiutare per i vari giri da fare,dove andare a mangiare. Pulizia delle camere eccellente ,è poi che dire quando si apre la finestra della camera ci si trova di fronte alla fabbrica della mitica Ferrari.

Gutes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Maranello

Das Hotel liegt in direkter Nähe zum Ferrari-Museum und ist für einen Kurztrip gut geeignet. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl und guten Kaffee, Parken war ohne Zusatzkosten in der eigenen Tiefgarage möglich. Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt nicht mehr wie neu, für den Zimmerpreis ist es aber völlig in Ordnung. Im Gegenzug dazu wirkte unser Bad wie frisch renoviert, das Zimmer war insgesamt ordentlich und sauber. Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp insgesamt ein gutes Hotel.

hotel in ferrari-nähe

mein sohn ist sehr großer ferrari-anhänger. daher hatte ich das planet-hotel ausgesucht. trotz des starken verkehrs mit viel lärm auf der vorbeiführenden straße haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. hier zuhause vermissen wir die fahrgeräusche besonders der ferrari-autos.
