Savaii Lagoon is a truly tropical island resort, it is picture perfect in an incredible setting. I travelled from Australia with my three tall teenage children, and the villa was ideal for us with two single beds and a queen. The space was generous, with air-con and a large ceiling fan so we all slept very comfortably.
The staff, beach, and views were outstanding. The restaurant is set beautifully over the water and the food was absolutely excellent.
Lots of fun activities on offer to keep the kids happy.
It’s worth saying that visitors should accept that this is Samoa and while everything is clean and comfortable, it may not reflect the highest quaility build standards of other countries. You come here for the natural beauty, culture and the people!
I highly recommend Savaii Lagoon Resort for a beautiful island holiday :)

If you want to experience a quiet and relaxing place within a local village then this is the place. Rooms clean and roomy. Good selection of breakfast especially the local traditional Samoan option. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the owner Robyn always pop over for a chat during dinner.

Loved this accomodation mere steps from the most beautiful beach. Clean beach unit with aircon, ceiling fan, a comfy double bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other that has an open plan kitchenette, couch & dining table. The bathroom is satisfactory for your needs living next to the beach with hot water showers a bonus. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after a swim and an outdoor line to hang wet towels and swimming gear. The restaurant is reasonably priced with the most delicious food made with fresh ingredients and a stunning views of the sun setting while enjoying your meal. The menu changed each night we stayed which was brilliant as we got to choose different meals. The staff are extremely friendly and are on hand to help when needed. Free use of kayak, goggles and fins that kept the younger gen entertained. We will definitely visit again :)

The entire experience was amazing - the owners Robyn and Grant are so friendly and made it such a memorable and personable experience.

We stayed in a beachside bungalow, and it was seriously insane. We stepped right out onto the beautiful beach, which was pristine and crystal clear. Our favourite part was being able to snorkel right from the beach whenever we wanted to, and we saw the most amazing coral and fish!

The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious, and very reasonably priced. Drinks as well.

If you are staying at one place in Savai’i, please let it be this one. By far the best accommodation we had whilst in Samoa. We wish we could have spent a week here (at least!)

One of the best food spots in Samoa (Both Savaii and Upolu) the food is exquisite, owners live onsite and so lovely and welcoming. Villas are delightful and very clean! We will definitely be back and will be bringing our families from NZ over too, a Gem we will always be coming back to, the beachfront is unbeatable. Staff are so lovely and also live band at dinner beautiful.

As self described, a 3 star resort in a 5 star location. Right at the waters edge. Great safe snorkelling out front. Lovely, friendly helpful staff and friendly owner. Clean, big room with kitchen and comfy bed. Nice restaurant with good food at the waters edge. Plunger coffee included with breakfast yay! We enjoyed our overnight stay and would have been happy to relax there a bit longer.
We applaud the available filtered water on tap and that the village can access this also. Great initiative as the plastic water bottle situation in Samoa is disturbing.

By far the best place to stay. Our family was welcomed, it was a personal experience with Robyn and Grant taking a genuine interest in discussions with all guests. Great rooms, fabulous restaurant and bar. The best part was the location, it is absolutely stunning- we didnt leave to do activities, the lagoon, kayaks and snorkeling was all we needed.

Absolutely loved our 3 days and nights at Savaii Lagoon. Step out the door right onto the beach. The service at the Barefoot Bar and Restaurant was very personalised, lovely fresh meals and cocktails each night. There is a spa next door that did the most amazing massages.

The best located resort in Savaii.

We highly recommend this resort of its location, beautiful ocean side and personal polite staffs members who treat you very well. They acknowledged our 40th wedding anniversary upon our arrival with flower necklace and complimentary drinks. Their food is also very delicious and reasonably price. We will certainly booked again in the future.

From the staff to the food to the room it was amazing and would recommend everyone to stay here. We stayed in the beach bungalows, and the view of the beach from our bungalow was breathtaking. I enjoyed seeing the change of tablecloths in the restaurant daily, it was refreshing and showed cleanliness. The staff wore two different attires for the weekdays and Sunday wore white that I found very respectful knowing how important Sunday is in Samoa. We had breakfast and lunch here and the food was amazing. We didn't have the chance to try their dinner menu because our lunch was very filling when it came to dinner time. Breakfast hours ran from the morning until lunch which was a bonus meaning we didnt have to get up too early incase of a que we could enjoy a sleep in without worrying. The beds were great to sleep on, the room was very spacious and clean, I appreciated the flowers they used to decorate the room. Our room had a dining table and a coffee table which was nice to have to put your small belongings or shopping. The location of their restaurant is situated perfectly as its on the beach and when it is high tide the ocean runs under the resturant. My granddaughter had fun feeding the fishes (not sure if we were allowed haha) during high tide and would try catch the fishes while waiting for our food. The owners of this place has done an exceptional job to catch the essence of Savaii. The owners were lovely, helpful and visible. Looking forward to staying here again.

Property was absolutely beautiful, overlooking a turquoise, clear ocean. Snorkeling from right out front your room and meals overlooking the ocean. Rooms were basic but spacious and had everything you needed. Fale outside the room was amazing, although the wooden chairs were a little uncomfortable. Our only negative was we didn’t get a print out of our expenditures, but was just told the price owing, which turned out to be $30 more than what we were aware of. But a friendly, beautiful place to go!

Spent 2wks in Samoa and this is one place we would definitely go back too. The room was very comfortable and clean with extras - microwave, cutlery enough for 4. Loved the inside/outdoor shower under the stars and sometimes the rain!! The snorkelling was amazing, grab some flippers if you are going out to snorkel, at low tide flop around in the water hole. Enjoy a paddle with a kayak. Very relaxing, the food is sourced locally and was a nice touch and all meals were delicious, the menu changed daily. Grant and Robyn, thank you - your knowledge of the area / village was so informative. The little shop across the road was great for those little things, the resort next door offered the spa experience for an outdoor massage !! As they say it is a 5 star experience which is what we got. Thank you

A lovely place to stay in Savai’i - the owners gave us a warm welcome and we felt right at home at this special place by the sea. It really is a ‘kick your shoes off and relax’ kind of place. The on site restaurant served delicious food, so we didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel. Definitely recommend if you want a simple, chilled and relaxing time.

We wanted to be near airport not in Apia. Popped in and service was great. Showed us a bungalow with sunset views. Good AC, restaurant was fine too. They have a pool which was one of the cleanest we saw in Samoa. Would recommend as place to stay close to airport and ferry terminal.

A beautiful lagoon front resort, very clean, quiet and peaceful with only 10 rooms.
The garden bungalow was back slightly which gave extra privacy while still having an ocean view and was still only steps away from the ocean.
Loved the swimming hole that was deep enough to swim even at low tide.
The food was great at the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was a perfect start to the day.
There wasnt much around the resort in walking distsnce so if you want to get around you need a car as it is an hour from the ferry terminal however we wanted to just completely chill which we did even on the rainy days, however we did take the kayaks out which was fun.

Perfect and relaxing stay. The 1 bedroom beachfront room was comfortable and roomy. Good sun loungers in front of our room and a beautiful lagoon to swim and snorkel in. Saw turtles on two occasions while snorkelling. Meals at the restaurant were great as were the cocktails. Staff all friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again.

Robyn was an incredible host.
The resort provided us with a memorable stay for my daughters 21st birthday. We made use of the kayaks and snorkelling out the front of our fale, spending hours swimming in the warm ocean.
The resort organised for John to take us on a day trip around the island-I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Savaii. John was a knowledgable guide, and provided us with the highlight of our two week stay in Samoa.

Robyn and her staff did a marvelous job making my family of 6 feel welcomed and comfortable during our three night stay at Savaii Lagoon Resort. We all loved the lagoon, and the snorkeling was fantastic. I took each child out on the kayak in the calm lagoon. We mostly ate at the resort and really enjoyed the food offered at reasonable prices.

The highlight of our stay was the fiafia on Wednesday night. If you are planning a trip and want to include a really authentic Samoan experience, try to be at Savaii Lagoon Resort on a Wednesday night. You won't soon forget it. Thanks Robyn and staff for the memories!

Enjoyed the fact that it was away from major towns and comparatively isolated. The staff were all local people who are polite in the extreme but we found them easy to relate to and refreshing company. My wife and I are vegetarian and the onsite restaurant were able/prepared to cater for us. We thank them for that.

Amazing owners!

My holiday didn’t get off to the best of starts (delayed luggage with no shops open, plus a punctured tyre!), but thankfully the owners, Robyn and Grant, went out of their way to help me out when I needed it the most.

I loved the lagoon and watching the sunset at the Barefoot Bar & Restaurant. The room was well presented and clean, and the fale was a nice place to sit back and relax.

Beautiful location with a lovely snorkelling beach right in front. The reef close to the beach is damaged but has good areas further out. This resorts benefits being very close to another resort for further options.
The shower head in our room didn’t work, surely that will be fixed by now.
