I stayed for 6 days. Pros. Loved the 24 hr fully equipped gym with 2nd room for stretching and Pilates. The Lap pool was big and Spacious. The great scenic views of Makati from the higher floors and upper deck area. Great variety of food with Greenbelt mall right across the street with loads of restaurants. The only Con was I wish the pools hours were open a little longer.

I recently stayed at Makati Diamond Residence for over a week. While it’s rated five stars, my room felt run down, with dinged walls, cracked bathroom tiles, and a loose faucet.
A notable issue was the lack of power sockets; my phone charger broke after being plugged in beside the bed. I found it unfair that the housekeeper would be held responsible for the damage due to the hotel’s insufficient charging ports, so I resolved to buy a new charger myself.
Despite these issues, I’m giving the hotel five stars mainly for its outstanding staff. From the security team to the front desk and bartenders, everyone made me feel welcome. Special thanks to Jay and his co-bartender, as well as my housekeepers, Regina and Emmalyn, for their exceptional hospitality. Although I may choose another hotel during my next visit to the Philippines, the warmth of the staff truly stood out.

Hospitality and customer service at Makati Diamond Residences was efficient, helpful, and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Housekeeping was attentive and multiple team members checked in and were accommodating to our requests. The Club Lounge access also stood out, as the bartenders at cocktail hour were pleasant to interact with and the food was consistently tasty and varied each day. Overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend staying here to anyone who wants a luxuriously comfortable stay in Manila.

The pool was so full of chemicals my wife had to go to the dermatologist 6900 peso the food was mostly very average but the club level free food was terrible the charged me 4600 peso for early check in the room was not restocked. The last day when we were leaving after 1 week. The maid Rudolf actually cleaned are room well. But to little to late. The management the front seat and the people who run this place are out of touch. I would rather stay actosdvtgdd ed street for 1/2 the price. I moved to a 72 sq. ft. room for an additional night. While the room was clean, the water pressure had improved, and breakfast was excellent, the overall experience did not justify the price. The relocation to a lower floor left me with a disappointing rooftop view.
More importantly, the hotel could do much better in how it treats regular and loyal customers. There were no upgrades, perks, or gestures of appreciation offered, despite being a returning guest. The overall impression was that the focus is on how to charge more rather than how to build lasting customer loyalty. That’s not how you retain long-term guests or earn continued business

I arrived early in the morning for a trade show, and although my room was ready, the staff at the executive level insisted on charging me an extra $120 for checking in at 8:00 AM instead of 10:00 AM. I explained that I was a regular guest, often booked the larger rooms, and had an important event starting at 10:00 AM. Despite that, and even after consulting a supervisor, they only offered a token 10% discount and remained firm on the charge. For a hotel in this price range, I expected more flexibility and consideration for returning guests.
Additionally, the shower had very low water pressure—surprising and unacceptable for a hotel of this category. You expect basic comforts like a decent shower, especially when the rates are already on the higher side for what you receive.

Great place to stay when visiting Makati. The Whiskey and Cigar bar is a good place to grab a drink and a good cigar if you like that. Otherwise the pool bar is a nice quiet place to get a drink and unwind. The rooms are very nice and the staff are very friendly.
