I chose this hotel for its beautiful view of Rocamadour. The room was very basic, but had a bright sparkling clean bathroom with tub, so we were happy with that.
The restaurant is excellent. Servers were well-meaning, but not well trained.
Food was excellent, but we never got our drinks.
The Holy Way goes right beside the hotel to Rocamadour, so you could leave your car in the parking lot and just walk over.
Convenient to catching le Petit Train right out front, and there are nice souvenir shops around the little square. I bought three lovely tins of candied walnuts for little gifts at the shop right next door, and she cheerfully and quickly wrapped them up for me.

Really disappointing stay overall. We arrived to a very strong sour milk smell in the room, which made the whole room feel unpleasant from the start. The room itself also looked very tired and was overlooked by tourists, so there was very little privacy.

The facilities were lacking for the price - there was no fridge, no water glasses, no kettle, tea, coffee or any way to make a hot drink in the room.

There were two young men working in the restaurant/bar area who were very helpful and polite throughout our stay. Unfortunately, this was completely overshadowed by the lady who checked us out, who was incredibly rude and raised her voice during the interaction.

We also ate in the restaurant and the potatoes were completely raw. Neither of us could eat them. We informed a member of staff at the time, and we also noticed other tables sending theirs back as well. Despite this, we were still charged full price for the meals.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and unfortunately we won’t be returning.

This is the best place to stay in Rocamadour. The hotel is located next to the main lookout point offering views of the old town. The path leading down to the old town starts next to the hotel.

The view from the restaurant is wonderful. Rooms on one side have a view, others do not.

The restaurant and bar are good. The staff are attentive, energetic, and friendly.

Rooms are spotless. Beds are comfortable and the bedding is high-quality. Towels are soft.

Bring your own shampoo if you are particular: there is only a single soap dispenser in the bathroom.

Stayed here because of the splendid views from the hotel & we weren't disappointed also it was en-route from Spain to the ferry in northern France. We had an upper floor room, which was everything we needed, the breakfasts & evening meals were excellent, the staff so friendly & helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the old town 10 minutes walk down 20 minutes back up, but well worth the effort.

I would recommend this hotel in Rocamadour because of the location. It is easy to find with a nice restaurant but most important they have parking. Great view of the medieval city. Many shops and restaurants within an easy walk.

hotel is perched on cliff opposite the famous cliffside cathedral: stunning views! we had view from room, but everyone has view from restaurant, breakfast room, terrace, bar, etc. Outstanding. Nice restaurants opposite. Short walk down steep cliffside to town, but there are shuttles also. The view is the best!

It is a lovely hotel in an amazing position, with easy access to the local tourist spot. Lovely views from the restaurant and the bedrooms in which we stayed. Would have appreciated air conditioning as the temperature was in the 30's but I think that this was unusual. A fan would have helped. We did have access to the sister hotels pool, which was a short distance away and the staff there were very helpful, although only two of our group found the time to use it

Stay away from that place

Just a horrible place with rude crew. the room was at about 90degrees no AC. I actually walked out the place and went back to the hotel down the hill where I was the night before (next to the bridge....I think that I cannot give names)
Of course I lost my money as they declined to reimburse me saying that the hotel was full. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE ...... unless you don't care about sleeping in hard small bed in a tiny hot room
Also do not expect having the view like they post on their page....very misleading !!!

We had a night in Le Belvedere on a visit to Rocamadour. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the impressive sight of Rocamadour over the valley. Room was comfortable and we also had the view from the room.

Great hotel, our room (5) had fabulous views of Rocamadour and the valley. It's about a mile level walk to the chateau, about half a mile straight down a steep hill to the shopping centre. Not a problem normally but it was blisteringly hot! We discovered too late that the 'little train' did the full tour up and down the hills and would be a clever way of saving your legs. Rocamadour is a unique place and highly recommended.

A gem for the price.

We picked the hotel primarily for its location, free parking, and stunning view of the cliff city of Rocamadour. The two-star rating may be for the lack of frills (the bathroo needed an electrical outlet), but the rooms were comfortable, as were the beds, the view incredible--especially at sundown--and the bonus was an excellent restaurant with friendly and helpful servers. Breakfast was generous and hosted by the proprietor. A 1 km. walk from the hotel's parking lot will get you to the cliff-top chateau and the start down the Way of the Cross into the city itself.

Spending a night in beautiful Rocamadour

Our room was large, bright and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the medieval town on the cliff across the valley. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel restaurant looked cozy and offered the same stunning view as the room. However, the food and service were disappointing. The duck breast we ordered was served undercooked. We asked them to cook it a little longer. The waitress was clearly vexed and when she returned it to us after 15 minutes it was exactly the same. There was something wrong with that food because both my husband and I felt sick the next day.

Had a great view of rocamadour from hotel room and pretty much every where else in the hotel. The food was excellent with great service. The only thing that let it down was the trebile service upon check in and check out. They just could not be bothered. It was a shame as the rest of the stay was excellent. I tried to explain that they were letting the hotel down but unsurrprisingly they were not interested. Oh well, if I ever return that way I will not be staying there. If you can stand being ignored for 10-15 minutes while checking in or out then you will enjoy this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights here having read other reviews and are delighted we did. Don't let the star rating put you off. The staff service and cheerfulness and the views over to Rocamadour are fantastic. The quality of the food in the extremely busy dining room was very very good. When we arrived at 7.30pm on the Saturday evening there were no tables left to be had - obviously a favourite with the locals.

Great escape

we only stayed the one night en-route to Portugal. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore this area. The Hotel offers stunning view across the valley , both Daytime and night. We eat Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and our complements to the Chef. The food was excellent and very well presented.

Chambre propre mais quelconque, nous avons voulu consommer des boissons en terrasse avant de dîner, las d'attendre mon mari est allé chercher les verres au bar. Quand au service au restaurant d'une lenteur exaspérante avec un maître d'hôtel incompétent, courant partout et se permettant de rejeter la faute et critiquer les jeunes serveurs auprès des clients.

Nous étions 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants) et malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu de chambre familiale ce qui fût un peu compliqué. Personnel avenant. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant. La habitación hace calor y tiene un ventilador. Pedí una habitación con bañera y si me la dieron pero no tenia, tapón para poder bañarme, y además tiene un mecanismo diferente al tapón del lavabo. Así que echo aposta.

L'emplacement est idéal tant pour la vue que pour le cheminement à pied vers la cité médiévale. La prestation est à la hauteur des attentes et du tarif. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le parking n'est pas sécurisé mais devant les fenêtres des chambres donc assez dissuasif. Bref, un bon plan, pas le moins cher mais très correct

Nous sommes restés 4 jours et les draps n'ont pas été changés du séjour, le ménage ne semblait pas être fait chaque jour.
Par contre la chambre donnait sur le site de Rocamadour, vue superbe.

Avec ma compagne, nous avons passé une nuit dans l'hôtel.
Le personnel est très agréable et répond à toutes vos questions concernant la ville et ses alentours.
La vue depuis l'hôtel est imprenable puisque vous pouvez contempler toute la vallée depuis votre chambre ou même le restaurant avec Rocamadour un peu plus bas.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose une cuisine de qualité présentée avec élégance.

Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel.

De eerste keer dat we in een twee sterren overnachten en het zal de laatste keer zijn.
Het enige dat in orde was is het restaurant.
Parking bij het restaurant. Kleine, verouderde kamers. Geen isolatie. Het verschuiven van stoelen, garçons die rondliepen in het restaurant. Alles was te horen op de kamer. Slechte bedden waarin men de ijzeren veren voelde. Ontbijt was poverkes. Geen vlees.

Un hôtel à recommander

L’hôtel est idéalement situé. La vue sur Rocamadour le soir lors du dîner était presque magique. L'accueil est chaleureux et le personnel à l'écoute. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais propres et le lit est confortable

Je pensais qu il y avait la piscine .elle se trouve un peu pluss loin dans un autre hotel dommage .
