Unique and fascinating traditional bed & breakfast, well run by a lovely family, who were very helpful - we likely wouldn't have found such great places to go without their advice. We felt very welcome in the interesting and homely place, historic but with modern comforts. We had the one room without an en suite bathroom; don't be put off as it's close by, and completely private, as it would be in many private homes. Also, the coffee in the morning is excellent!

The breakfast was good but the stay was odd and not for you if you require full privacy. We were required to leave our room key outside of our room whenever we left the building, and we later noticed that they come into your room when you’re gone quite frequently - for example there is a window facing the shower that opens to the hallway of the apartment and we shut it to shower and when we came back from town it was open again (and no cleaning was done). As two female travelers it made us kinda uncomfortable knowing we didn’t have total privacy from the hosts. The air conditioner didn’t work when we turned it on so we didn’t think to turn it off when we left for an hour into town and came back with a note on the AC unit asking to turn the unit off when we leave the building. I understand that there is keep up needed for an older building but it’s weird for hosts to enter as they please without consent.

Quiet, very clean, great location and a historical home. The host is very accommodating. Our room was ready early so we were able to drop off our day bag early and go out and explore. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

The loveliest father and son ran B&B. They’re so sweet and thoughtful. The packed us breakfast on the day we had to check out early. They gave us a map and provided simple instructions in finding all the highlights of Capri/Anacapri. We stayed in the pink room. It was cute, and spacious with an extra single bed. Would recommend if you’re looking for friendly hosts.

If you want happy guests - don't be rude

We came to check in with accompanied with our friends that wanted to leave their trolleys for one hour at the B&B and pic them up later. The owner son open the door and was not happy and rudely told us that it is not acceptable and it is too much of a service to ask. My friend also needed the toilet and he refused to let her use it. We were not happy with this attitude of service. The ground floor was strongly smelled of dump and we were thinking if to stay or leave. Also the shower and toilet to our room was one floor below - not good at all. The breakfast was OK and the owner himself was more friendly.

Great location close to all main attractions in Anacapri. The owners were extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. Our wonderful experience in Anacapri would not have been the same without the suggestions made by Alessandro and his father Carlo. Breakfast was more than sufficient, overall very good. The coffee was delicious. There is not any A/C, which is something one should know ahead of time. Our bed was a little uncomfortable but sufficient for a short stay. If looking for an upscale Capriesque experience, this is not the place for you. If you want a more cultural experience, then I highly recommend this location.

The location was off the main path so it wasn’t too busy, but it was also right beside a courtyard where they had performances every night at 9:30pm. This could be good and bad. The inside of the building is cool. The downside is that our bathroom was constantly dripping which made the floor wet all the time. Another thing is that we felt we didn’t have much privacy as they often go into your room while you’re gone.

Missed the entrance as it wasn't how we expected it to look! Right against the wall, next to one of the smaller piazzas. Carlo, the host, was the most hospitable - welcomed us and showed us around, and had drawn up a map for us showing all the touristy must-sees of the island which was a great help!
The room was very nice and vibrantly decorated, and the bathroom was separate but we had the only key.
One thing to note is that it's near the piazza - we could see it from the window, and noise carries when the window is open. We heard the local dance group practising for a show late into the night (but it didn't bother us).
It was a lovely place to start our holiday and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Anacapri! Prime location with a lovely host.

Owned by a lovely Italian family.

This hotel is located very central in Anacapri. Easy to get around. The owners were very welcoming and helpful! The accommodation was originally part of an old Monastery, and has been nicely refurbished.

I will not go back

The 2 nights I spent there I had to shower with cold water as I would only have hot water for the first 3 minutes. And when I complaint the lady started shouting at me.
Location was the only good thing.
Breakfast wasn't good at all.

Great location in the heart of Anacapri.

My stay was a unique experience which I ended up enjoying in the end. I only stayed 1 night but these are my thoughts. Cons: the B&B is definitely in need of a major cleaning. I have allergies and the dust was a bit bothersome. If they gave it a good cleaning, I think it would help with the musty odor. I would recommend that you bring a copy of your passport for the staff as they ask to actually take your passport. That was unsettling for me. Pros: The location is great. You're close to everything In Anacapri. The breakfast was great, and the staff was helpful on my final day when I was trying to figure out how to cram as much in as I could. There is a lot of history there so it added to the experience. The room was good size and had everything I needed. Wifi worked well. I believe their was only 1 other guest staying there so the shared bathroom was not a problem.

Great Location!

This is located in the heart of Anacapri. In our opinion this is a much better stay than Capri to get the authentic Italian feel. It is only a 5 minute down down to Capri.
On the property, it is an old monastery. If you like your comforts maybe this is not for you but if you are a little easy going its ideal. Old school property with great hosts. They tell you the best sights and sound to visit while staying and are helpful in every way.
Breakfast was continental and does the trick.

Couldn't take a leak

After staying there for one night, the owner let us leave our carry on bags there while we went to the Grota Azure, which was nice, but when we came back to pick up our bags, was surprised the owner didn't lend us the bathroom. Not good when you have just spent over $ 100 at his place!

Great little B&B in Anacapri

Great location in heart of Anacapri, but away from the busier part. Bit tricky to find the door - immediately to the right of the old church (hotel is a restored monastery), small tile sign above the door. Very friendly and helpful owners (B&B), made us feel totally at home and very welcoming. The owners also provided extremely useful local advice which made the stay really special. Highly recommended!

Our hosts were most helpful and friendly, recommending sights to see and local restaurants. The restaurants they recommended were outstanding. The bed was a bit hard for our liking, other than that, however the room was very comfortable. The family is very proud of their history and provided local delicacies at breakfast. Had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful, family run, former Monastery. Unbelievably kind and hospitable. An enormous room, with kitchenette, dining and lounging area. Exclusive access to a private roof terrace for sunbathing.

Alors les propriétaires sont adorables et disponibles, très gentils. Par contre, le confort est sommaire. Le lit n’est clairement pas récent. Nous nous attendions pas à grand chose, mais nous sommes quand même déçus. Les photos ne sont clairement pas récente et cela n’a pas été renouvelé. Le petit dej est très simple mais a le mérité d’être offert. Ce qui nous a le plus choquée est l’état de la douche qui étant donné le niveau de moisissure n’a clairement pas été lavée avant notre arrivée… ce qui met clairement pas à l’aise, heureusement il s’agissait de deux nuits unique mais voir un règlement ou si on a le malheur de posé une valise sur un lit ou de salir une serviette on peut être facturé … j’attends d’avoir au moins d’avoir une douche impeccable quand un tel règlement est affiché …
