We really loved the room. It had old world charm. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and so plentiful. The beds were comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water. The location was good, just outside of the noise of Provenza.

Staff was AWESOME very attentive, i got the superior with a balcony room basically suite for the price of a regular room in most places, the food was great definitely try the club sandwich literally the best ive had, and the location is perfect because its a 1 min walk to parl lleras but without a lot of the noise at night so i could still sleep. Overall just a great place to stay

Clean rooms, large amount of space in the room, amazing shower, good breakfast and helpful staff. There was a great selection of fruit at the breakfast. Having a full size refrigerator was a plus. Very good location in Poblado, on a quieter street. Windows are very good at reducing the noise from the surrounding area.

The Staff always courteous, breakfasts really good , the room very clean , but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable , we woke up with neck and back pain in most of the days of our stayed. But in overall everything else was great . If I’m back to Medellin will stay again in Hotel Du Parc .

The room was large, beautiful & very comfortable. The staff was wonderful! The room was very clean & bath necessities provided. However, there were no utensils nor sponge or soaps in the kitchen area. There were no instructions as to how to operate the stove &, upon inspection, I found that the stove & microwave were unplugged. Even then, I couldn't figure out how to get the stove hot. In addition, the refrigerator was very noisy & I had to unplug it in order to sleep. Also, there are lots of little lights on from the wall plugs, the AC & the phone. The curtains also let a lot of light into the room.

Elegimos este hotel por ser accesible y, a la vez, estar fuera del ruido, y fue un gran acierto.
Desde el primer momento la experiencia estuvo marcada por su equipo humano, y queremos reconocerlo de manera especial.
Personas como Natalia, Carolina, Alejandro, Edwin y Francisco hicieron que nuestra estadía fuera verdaderamente memorable. Cada uno, desde su rol, se distinguió por su amabilidad, respeto, profesionalismo y genuino deseo de ayudar. No fue un trato de protocolo, sino una hospitalidad auténtica y empática. En momentos que requirieron especial sensibilidad, incluso relacionados con la salud, encontramos cuidado real y una disposición que se agradece profundamente. Gracias a ellos confirmamos que Medellín es, sin duda, su gente.
A esa calidad humana se suma un hotel impecable. Nunca habíamos estado en un lugar tan limpio: no vimos polvo ni descuido alguno, ni en la habitación ni en las áreas comunes. Todo transmite orden, pulcritud y tranquilidad.
El desayuno es excelente: variado, fresco y de gran calidad, con omelette preparado al gusto cada mañana, lo que eleva la experiencia diaria.
Aquí no solo trabajan bien: son un verdadero equipo, y personas así no solo hacen la estadía placentera, invitan a regresar.
Sin duda, volveríamos.

Hitel du Parc is located near many restuarants and shops.
It is a nice hotel with large rooms. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation. Staff is nice but front desk staff ihad some difficulty with English.

The hotel has been tastefully updated but it has maintained is old world charm. It is nicely situated near the action in Poblado and the streets are safe for walking even at night

1. electronic key-card system was not functional for the first day and each time i wanted to enter my room i had to be let in by the hotel staff. very awkward!
2. freezer was making loud noises and i was told that this is 'normal' and it was like this in every room. i used earplugs just to be able to have a quiet nights sleep.
3. rooms are quite dated with an ant infestation. the toilet broke down twice!
4. The gym does not really qualify to be called as such with only 4-5 cardio machines and no weights. The sauna/steam rooms are only turned on upon request but you literally have to request several times and even still they weren't turned on and i had to physically go and check myself to make sure they were turned on.
5. For breakfast buffet the eggs are only cooked upon request and not available for self-service. i was told that i could only have 1 portion of eggs and then after making and issue about it they gave me a second portion. On subsequent days they were very unwelcoming and had a hostile attitude towards me just because i wanted extra eggs! i have never heard of a hotel buffet having a limit on how much you can have of a certain item and neither was this strange rule mentioned in their policy.
6. Upon checkout they held onto my bags and demanded payment for a towel with a small burn-mark that they found in my room. I refused the payment as i did not do that but the male receptionist became quite personal with me about it and shouted 'Be a man and admit it!

Property is very clean, staff is very friendly, and location is excellent. It is right in the middle of parque el poblado and parque lleras Like two minute walking distance on either side. I loved that it was close enough to walk anywhere but far out enough for piece and quiet . Breakfast was great. Will definitely come back to this hotel in our next visit.

Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas. Asegúrese de pedir un piso más alto para una mejor vista. Las vistas en el segundo/3o piso no son buenas. Dicho esto, el personal y el hotel son de primera categoría. El desayuno y la comida del restaurante son deliciosos. Y finalmente, está en un gran vecindario, El Poblado.

I am American and have a younger Colombian wife. The staff was not friendly to her as if she was escort. We invited an old friend from her youth for a glass of wine, but they wanted to charge an additional 160,000 pesos. However I watched several times as guest brought other guests that were closer in age with no charge. It made my wife very uncomfortable as they thought she was a call girl. It really put a damper on an enjoyable week.

I totally enjoyed the atmosphere. Before I stayed at the Dan Carton, although the staff there was very nice and welcoming, the hotel accommodations did not completely my expectations. So, this time I stayed at the Du Parc hotel and I have to admit that this place met all my expectations. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and accommodating on all occasions. I been to some of the pricey hotels in Medellín and none of them can compare with Du Parc. For the price of the rooms, I can’t ask for more. Rooms were always kept clean every day, the hotel itself was always clean. The breakfast at the Du Parc excellent. A lot to choose from. And most importantly, they didn’t serve the same breakfast every day, most is it, but some foods were different. The breakfast was good every morning and always on time. I liked staying at this hotel so much that I can’t think of any other place to stay each time I return to Medellin, I spoken to some of my friends about this hotel and my experiences and they’re now excited about staying there also. What I like most about this hotel, and this is always most important to me, is the friendliness of the staff. Every staff member, desk clerks, the custodians, waitresses and waiter’s all had great attitudes.

I travel all around the world staying in top class hotels. This one is a gem. Not a big hotel and not like the big chains. This is unique and the owner is totally hands on. The way the hotel is laid out and decorated makes it very special. Great breakfast included and rates are extremely reasonable. I rarely recommend hotels but this one is highly recommended.
