This is a great hotel in many ways: staff, breakfast nice room, comfortable, view... but there are two notable problems. First, despite the Expedia website saying this hotel has \"free offsite parking\", it does not. Staff very kindly recommended parking, but it isn't free. Second, the neighborhood of this hotel is plagued by a gang of roaming youth who throw fireworks, some of which are very loud. No one in the area seems able to contain this problem and it is very disturbing.

Let me start by saying the hotel is centrally located — that’s the only real positive. Unfortunately, my interactions with one of the receptionists left me with a strong recommendation for non-Italian tourists: steer clear.

When I arrived, I patiently waited while both receptionists attended to other guests in the most leisurely, anti-rush manner possible. When it was finally my turn, I asked about the parking situation. Despite the parking lot being right next to the hotel, the receptionist had no clear information. The language barrier only added to the confusion.

I even went outside and asked two nearby businesses about parking — one pointed vaguely at a ticket machine but wasn’t sure, and the other didn’t understand me at all. For reference, neither Yesim nor Vodafone had any signal in the area, so I couldn’t look it up myself.

When I returned to the receptionist, she told me to wait again while she finished with other guests. Eventually, she walked me outside, pointed at the ticket machine, and assured me I’d be fine until 8 a.m., after which I’d need to pay.

Well, the next morning, my car was gone. It had been towed to a lot, and I had to pay the release fee. To her credit, the morning receptionist did make some phone calls and help me locate the car, but the damage — in time, stress, and money — was already done. I then had to go to the lot, deal with a staff member who spoke no English, and pay for a mistake caused entirely by the hotel’s misinformation.

Centrally located 4-star hotel in Trapani

A lovely hotel at the border between the old and new town parts of Trapani. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, if you need extra information. My single room on the third floor (elevators available) was spacious, clean, and had a good firm bed. The bathroom was fine, also had a big window, and featured the standard Italian bathroom fixture, the bidet! The price included breakfast buffet was well-appointed with hot and cold items as well as continental breakfast choices. I can only recommend this hotel and would go back there if the opportunity were to arise.

A wonderful place with super friendly staff. I het were super hospitable, letting me work in their lobby and serving me free drinks. After coming back a couple of days later, they did not mind that I took place again without a reservation. I would recommend this place.

Small rooms and view of a car park

The pictures of the rooms are misleading. Pictures shown on Hotels.com are only of superior room. The standard rooms are substantially smaller. Also, the “sea view “ is really a view of a massive ugly car park. Only when you crane your next you can see sea at diagonal angle. Most staff however were very helpful and very nice. For example, a receptionist organized for me a private doctor to come to hotel when I was very unwell. Some staff members speak poor English.

Hotel location was great. It was just on the edge of the pedestrian only area and close to the beach. Hotel staff was great and accomodating. They held our luggage before check in and after check out, arranged for a taxi to the airport, and gave us great advice on San Vito Lo Capo and how to get there (if you're visiting mainly for just the beach and good food, you should just stay in San Vito Lo Capo; it's much nicer). The hotel had a great breakfast daily. The in-room air conditioning seemed to only work at night in our room. Not a huge deal since we were out all day but coming back to a hot room isn't ideal. Also, the walls were a little thin; mainly just hearing everyone's plumbing and showers was just a tad annoying. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Trapani.

Great Hotel

The hotel was ideally situated just off the main road and within 2 minutes of the Old Town. There was a large free car park opposite with constant security patrols. The room was large and very well appointed. The bathroom was spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and gluten free cakes, bread and biscuits were available.
The only negative was that the wi-fi connection was unreliable.

Enjoyed the hotel cleanliness esp in the new wing I was placed. One thing they could improve is abandoning the whiny hand-hand vacuum cleaner to pick up the crumbs off the breakfast tables- a brush would be more discreet and quiet!! WiFi not the best I've used. Otherwise great!!

This hotel is well located and is about 100m from the beach which is beautiful.
I booked a single room and although it had a fantastic view the decor and how the room and were bathroom were organised was poor. The blind did not work when I got there so the room was pitch black due to poor lighting. They did fix it the same day which was good. The toilet was almost impossible to get to because it was so close to the shower cubicle. The hotel was fully booked so I had to stay in that room.

The towels were lovely, white and soft. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were great.

The Internet connection was poor so if you need the Internet this hotel isn't for you. I couldn't download my emails at all.

This hotel is located within an easy walk to the old section of town. We had a very uncomfortable night as the sea view room actually is a parking lot view with the sea off to the right if you stick your head out the window. They turn on the A/C on May 5th rather than when it is required! It was unusually warm on the day we stayed there and a major concert was being held in a square a couple of blocks away. We had to leave the window open as the room was very hot. The band played very loud music until after 2am and the rest of the night was filed with motorcycle and vehicle noise. The breakfast was good.

The weather has not ben exactly kind to us in Tapani, as it was extremely windy.Overall Trapani is cool, with pleanty of delicious Italian restaurants, location of hotel was just great, the hotel staff extremely helpful, courteous throughout our four day stay, and most kind towards our nine year old grandson. Suffices to say, that since we had to leave on an early morning flight, the staff brought us breakfast in the room without having to ask for it. That is besides the service of a door porter which has been seemslacking in much more expensive hotels.We'll be back !

Wonderful Trapani hotel

The hotel was very well located, near the Old Town and a few blocks from the bus station and very close to the sea. We had a beautiful sea view. We enjoyed receiving a welcome gift of a bottle of Proseco. There was a small refrigerator in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions including bus schedules and locations of bus stops, museum openings and restaurant suggestions. We were able to use the computer in the conference area whenenver we needed it. The hotel provided a nice breakfast with ham, cheese, yogurt, eggs, breads, juice,fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, tea and numerous delicious desserts.

Very nice hotel in a good location overlooking the sea and a nice piazza. Bright modern decor and very clean throughout. Room cleaned daily and sometimes twice in a day.
Complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room on arrival ( very nice ) . Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
Close to bars, restaurants etc. in old town. Hydrofoil/ferry terminals, bus and train stations just 10 minutes walk for those wishing to stay in Trapani and explore further afield. Highly recommended.

Albergo Vittoria - recommended

Albergo Vittoria is situated about 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations. This makes it convenient when you arrive from the airport, and also for travelling to sights in the surrounding area, such as Segesta and Erice (both worth a visit). The hotel is also close to the town beach. A slightly longer but pleasant walk will take you to the city centre.

The hotel itself is comfortable and clean and the service is good. Breakfast is excellent.

There are two inexpensive eating places near the hotel that I can recommend. For lunch, there is a cafeteria-style restaurant called Self Service da Peppe beside the bus station. It is busy and obviously popular with locals.
There is also a pizzeria/restaurant called Miei Amici, on the seafront, about a 5 minute walk in the direction of the centre. It has a nice buzz, the food is good and they have a lot of outside tables. Again it seems to be very popular with local people.

Hotel Vittoria - great hotel in a great location

Spent 4 night with a friend in Hotel Vittoria and would definitely recommend it. Hotel is right across the road from beach and a pleasant 5 min walk to old town. Staff were v friendly and helpful, in particular the receptionist with long dark hair and glasses, wish I had her name now. Buffet breakfast was delicious, definitely the best breakfast I have ever had abroad, loads to choose from and great coffee. Even the breakfast room itself was lovely. Rooms were cleaned every day, they were spotless. My friend had a slightly smaller room and bathroom than me, even though we paid the same price. Just a couple of tips: bring your own hairdryer, the one in hotel is useless. Only two pharmacies open in Trapani on Saturdays, two in morning and two in evening. The receptionist will tell you which ones from the newspaper. The museum only opens sat morning so we missed that unfortunately (walking around looking for a pharmacy that was open). Dont leave without a trip to Erice!

Nice enough small hotel. They rave on about the great views but on two separate stays there was no view at all! Hotel was beginning to show its age and more like a fancy hostel than hotel. Rooms were spotless though. Good location. Close to the centre of the old town. Had incident at check in on both occasions where we were given a double room instead of twin. On the first incidence I was blamed for booking erroneously though it was clear on both their and my print out of the booking that a twin room was indeed requested. Staff not overly friendly so would recommend for a night but would suggest somewhere nicer if staying longer

Overall a very comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel . Breakfast was fine, although we missed traditional irish breakfast. Bar was quiet at night but made for early start for sight seeing by train and bus. Seliunte and its wonderful archaeological remains a must see- train and bus worked all within walking distance of hotel.

TUTTO il personale si è dimostrato molto professionale, in particolare il Sig.Salvatore (personale di sala). Ottimo hotel situato in centro e vicino alla spiaggia. Abbiamo prenotato lo stesso giorno e ci hanno dato una camere superiore. La stanza era molto grande preceduta da un salottino. Il bagno enorme con doccia e vasca. La colazione è abbondante e varia.
Davanti l'albergo si trova un grande parcheggio pubblico a pagamento dalle 9 alle 24 in estate.

The hotel had good rating, so I booked a room for one person on my business trip. The receptionist was welcoming. Hotel is very old-fashioned & semi-worn. The corridors and rooms have this damp smell. All the upholstered furniture were damp due to high moisture in the air. Perhaps increasing ventilation and heating would help? Also, my room had visible mold spot & moisture damage in the ceiling as well as on the wall bahind aircon. The room was ok size for one and considering the price, it was ok. walls were thin as paper and I could hear other guests talking, sneezing, coming from the bar at 2am etc. Breakfast was very basic, the cakes were dry and juices way too sweet. I would give a 6 or 7 rating for the experience, although the location is good by the beach and the views were great from the 5th floor.

Goed hotel in Trapani. Vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Vlakbij het strand en een mooie lido. 10 minuutjes lopen naar de haven voor een daguitstap naar de Ègadische eilanden. Gezellig historisch centum om er 's avonds rond te kuieren. Er zijn veel restaurantjes. Ook de avondval is prachtig langs de lungomare.

Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, super Frühstück und optimale Lage. Innenstadt in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Strand 100 Meter entfernt Großes Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür für 0,10€ pro Stunde.
