Felt Like We Were On A Ranch

What a beautiful relaxing hotel, very sweet people who went out of their way for us. It was so cool to watch the riding horse competition live right from our room.
Great place to stay however no restaurant which made it hard for us because we didn’t have a car & there was nothing close to walk to. However they did say that restaurants would deliver, we just wanted to go out.

d clean. The entry to building was dark. Had to find a light in stairwell to see where going. This was a shock. Room was big and roomy. No tea and coffee facilities but there was a fridge. Went to restaurant for food. Service and food was awful. Slow. Got food order wrong also. Just wanted to get out and back to room. Waitress told us initially that it was full. But a waiter caught us up and said he had a table for us. After meal went to room and had a good sleep. We had breakfast at the restaurant next day and it was ok. T second night we brought food in to our room and ate on the balcony. Again another good sleep. Next day we had a wander around the horse stables before checking out. Which again was good. The only thing that let this hotel down was the rude waitress and poor service and food otherwise it would have been a great place to recommend.

Fabulous experience all round

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Agriturismo il Boschetto, I thought the hotel was absolutely fabulous, clean , great location, great breakfast, the staff were incredibly friendly and I really loved all the beautiful horses , it really was a fabulous experience.
My daughter who is 19 loved the hotel too !!
I am heading back to Milan next month and I definitely will be staying at this hotel again

Good value, within reach of Milan by car

Overall, a great find.

Positives: a very good value for the money; hotel is in a great shape, has a just-renovated feel.

Negatives and Things to be aware of: our suite had no stand-in shower, just a bath tub with a hand-held shower. Towels left on the bathroom floor were changed, to the tune of 3 euros per night. The hotel shares the property with horse stables and rinks; the weekend we were there, horse scuderia would start every morning at 8am right outside our windows. Breakfast was decent, except they were regularly out of eggs and bacon, and take 15 minutes to replenish... Seriously, how about cooking eggs so that there is a constant supply? Coffee was awesome, and the service very friendly.

The property is in the middle of nowhere (which is why it is such a good value), outside of a tiny town of Ornago. To get to Milan, we would drive (for about 25 minutes) to the Cascina Gobba station, right off the A51 highway (autostrada), where one can leave the car at the parking lot (or garage) run by the transportation authority, 1.50 euro for up to 5 hours, 2 euro for up to 10 hours, and take the subway to the center (about 20-30 minutes, depending on the destination). The subway is 1.50 per person each way. A bit cumbersome, but beats spending 200 euro more per night for comparable accommodations in the city. On the way back, we would stop in the supermarket (il Gigante) just off highway A4, at the exit for Ornago (marked Cavenago/Cambiago).

Visiting the Italian F1 GP. Hotel is in a beautiful setting and close to Monza. Very peaceful. Room 223 could do with a proper shower instead of a deep bath and handheld shower hose. Otherwise great.

If you are looking for something different this is the place! Beautiful hotel surrounded by a horse farm. Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice friendly environment. Would prefer larger breakfast selection although staff did their best to offer anything else we needed. Very good service at dinner too. Would definitely recommend.

A unique experience - highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel to take a break from the city whilst touring Milan..it is a little out of the way but we hired a car and knew it wasn't centrally located..it really is worth it!
It isn't far from the city but also provides a great location from which to travel to the Como region - we took a scenic drive around the Italian Riviera - Lecco, Bellagio and Como town...well worth it.
The hotel is beautiful and the layout of the grounds are great.
For peace and tranquillity this hotel is perfect.
The nicest, most welcoming and friendly person you will meet in Milan is George - front of house at the hotel. He is a real asset to this hotel - forever smiling and always keen to help. Perfect man for the job.
Would consider revisiting again soon for another peaceful break.
Overall - 5* experience.

The key was in a locker box under a password, someone had already taken my key (all the lockers used the same password so the passwords have no sense) I had to use someone else key and any other room that was not the one I booked, nobody answered the phone and no possible to get any help at midnight

La location è molto bella per gli amanti dell’equitazione! Piscina con vista sul campo ostacoli. Le camere sono essenziali, con balcone e vista sul campo o sul bosco.
Nota stonata il ristorante, che si potrebbe migliorare con del personale più disponibile! Interessante sarebbe un servizio bar anche in piscina!
Nel complesso ci tornerei senza dubbio!

il menu è semplice ma il gusto non è lì. patate fatte in casa non buone e nessun lavoro di condimento (3 piatti -). il pollo non aveva sapore e anche per i bambini, la pasta al pomodoro era molto dura e industriale. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, è molto leggera e non è una scelta enorme. non troverai verdure, pomodori, cetrioli, fette di pollo, tacchino ...
abbiamo avuto o uova strapazzate, frittata, salsicce, torte, ... un peccato perché il posto è molto bello, confortevole, accogliente, l'altro difetto è sollevato, il livello di rumore nelle camere e nei corridoi. le pareti non sono isolate. i corridoi devono inoltre rendere chiaro il silenzio per non disturbare. Junior Suite on reception « 216 » , piscina bien, giochi e attività per bambini. spettacolo e scoperta per bambini e cavalli.

Das Classic-DZ hatte keinen Balkon und war recht klein. Das Bad war geräumig, aber die Dusche so klein, dass man sich kaum umdrehen konnte. Die Sauberkeit war ok. Minibar enthielt nur Wasser und wurde nicht aufgefüllt, Mülleimer nicht geleert. Im Frühstücksraum viele nicht aufgeräumte Tische und sehr unfreundliches und arrogantes Personal. Kaffee wurde nur nach Bestellung an der Theke gebracht. Auf die Möglichkeit das Auto in der Tiefgarage zu parken wurde nicht hingewiesen so dass wir das Gepäck ca. 200m vom Parkplatz zum Gebäude tragen mussten.

Great Hotel - Nice place, quiet and lots of horses

Great hotel - also highly recommended with children:
- Lots of horses and stables (plus other animals like dogs) around - incl. horseback riding competitions
- Great food - breakfast and lunch at the pool bar were great - I am sure the dinner in the evening which I did not try is faboulous
- In the middle of nowhere - still close to Milano or Bergamo (30mins), to get some action. Ideal to explore the area
- Nice pool with playground
- Clean, all new

Two things were not so great:
- Unfortunately you can't ride the horses since all of the stables are private - maybe asking an owner could help though. Beyond that, there's not much offered. besides the pool and food
- I was a bit disappointed that I had to pay half a day rate for a late check-out at 4pm. Checking-out at 11 basically takes away the opportunity to benefit, e.g., from the pool on the day of departure completely

Schönes Anwesen auf dem Land.

Sehr schönes Anwesen am Land. Die Zufahrt ist etwas holprig. Wir hatten zuerst ein sehr kleines, wenig komfortables Zimmer im zweiten Haus neben dem Pool. Auf Nachfrage erhielten wir dann ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock, das deutlich mehr Platz und auch eine Sitzgelegenheit bot.. Der Aufenthalt hängt also davon ab, ob man das Glück hat eines der schönen Zimmer zu bekommen. Preis ist auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.

Ordinato due aperitivi ci hanno portato solo poche patatine dicendo che non c'era altro. Dopo 30 min. finiti gli aperitivi arriva un'altra persona che ci porta formaggio, prosciutto, olive e ci offre un nuovo aperitivo che il giorno seguente ci fanno però pagare.
Nella stanza i lucernari non erano oscurabili : un problema per chi ha bisogno di oscurità per dormire.

Soggiorno di lavoro, ma quasi me ne sono dimenticata per la pace e il relax che si respirano. Servizio buono, camere confortevoli...abbiamo avuto un incidente con dell'acqua che arrivava da una perdita del muro. Speravo in uno sconto dato che al mattino tale perdita era arrivata al bagno, ma comunque il prezzo non era esagerato.
Colazione molto ricca, apprezzato l angolo senza glutine!

Positivo il luogo in cui si trova, se si cerca la tranquillità e il riposo. Stare in mezzo ad un grosso maneggio è davvero una bella esperienza. Staff molto cordiale e camere molto belle e comode: forse la climatizzazione risulta un po' difficile da regolare.
Unica nota negativa: colazione. Da un agriturismo, in mezzo alla campagna mi aspetto qualcosa di più di qualche fetta di prosciutto della busta e le uova strapazzate fredde.

Agriturismo ma in realtà hotel a tutti gli effetti bello e confortevole, accoglienza gentile e molto cordiale, la camera (noi eravamo in una junior suite) ampia, comoda e pulita. L'unico appunto che posso fare è stato il servizio nel ristorante per cena. Siamo entrati alle 20.00/20.05 e ne siamo usciti alle 22.00! Siamo usciti per ultimi anche se non eravamo gli ultimi ad essere entrati!!!!!! A parte questo, siamo stati molto bene, una nota di merito particolare alla reception!!!!

Un hôtel type agrotourisme à 30km de Milan, avec la foire à ce moment là, il nous a fallut quand même 1h30 pour les faire.
Plusieurs bâtiments: accueil-bar, chambres, piscine, restaurant et les écuries.
Pour les amoureux de chevaux, c'est ici qu'il faut venir. Les chevaux sont dans de très belles écuries, très propres et soignées, plusieurs manèges disponible aussi.
Ici, le calme est roi. Les chambres sont de belles dimensions, récentes avec salle de bains/douches.
Le petit déjeuner est servi au restaurant au dessus des écuries. Tant le petit déjeuner que le restaurant sont excellents.

L'hôtel est classé 4* en \"Agriturismo\". C'est un superbe centre équestre qui est sorti de terre il y a un peu plus d'un an au nord-est de Milan. Pour les amoureux des chevaux, c'est à coup sûr un choix à faire sans hésitation. Les isntallations sont gigentesques, modernes et luxueuses. Nous pensons qu'il possède un hôtel, hostoire de pouvoir accueillir les compétiteurs lors de manifestations (capacité d'accueil : 120 boxes à chevaux !). Nous avons pris cet hôtel, histoire de faire une halte sur la route, et de faire plaisir à l'un de nos enfants. Il est situé dans un parc privé, au calme et à l'écart de tout perturbation citadine. Nous avons réservé une chambre double, càd une pièce pour les parents, et une seconde pour les enfants. L'ensemble faisait au moins 40m2. Lors de notre étape, il y avait peu de monde, donc le restaurant était fermé. Dommage, car les avis voyageurs donnaient envie. Nous avons été gentiment renvoyés vers un autre restaurant (attention, beaucoup sont fermé le dimanche soir). Concernant le petit déjeuner, il est dans un bâtiment à part. Le buffet laisse le choix, mais sans doute un peu moins qu'ailleurs (par ex. pas de plats chauds, type oeufs, légumes cuisinés et/ou bacon). L'accueil a été super sympa par le manager, qui parle français. Vivement que la piscine ouvre prochainement pour y revenir
