Location and pool great. Good value for money. Breakfast (3 set menu options) is limited but loads of great places along the beach. The deluxe family room was a good size, with comfortable mattress (softer than most we had in Thailand). We would recommend and would stay again.

Room was ok we stayed in 2 rooms our first smelt mouldy so paid for a upgrade upstairs a nice room very old but beach front,air conditioner broke so was moved to downstairs room was nice but had very mouldy smell only stayed 2 days there wouldn’t have handled any longer due to the mouldy smell.Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the beach front rooms are over priced due to age of resort and the lack of maintenance .

As a family of 4 we had the family beach suite - upon arrival we had chosen well, it is the best room in my opinion, second floor and beautiful view of the beach - and from the bed!! Huge room. Children loved the pool, thank you Laguna. Lovely walk up the beach for restaurants and a few shops.

Pros-
- Great location right on a beautiful beach with calm waves and multiple dining options
- rooms are quite basic but functional. Kids were happy that there was a large 55inch tv
- pool and lounging area are sufficient for a resort of this size
- very good massage on the beach..one of the best in have ever had.
What can be better:
- the lady at the reception can be friendlier and more welcoming towards the guest. She is prone to be irritable if you ask some questions!
- bathrooms don’t have bidet
- restaurant has very limited food options but more imp not even one Thai dish to offer.

Overall a great place to stay. It was right along the beach. They have a restaurant. They offer laundry service. Has a pool. Has a motorbike rentals (even though I did not use it). Bed was comfy. AC worked. Has hot water in the shower although it's a separate shower head from the cold. They gave 2 free drinking water bottles daily.

Only thing negative was that the bathroom didn't have a vent and that the given towels are pretty thin and have a slight oder to them.

I used this only as a stop over point but next time I come to Koh Lanta I would stay here the whole time! It’s beautiful and unique and the beach is stunning. You get a feel for Thai culture mixed with the resort feeling. The staff was the kindest group of people!

Food was not good- walk 4 minutes either side for a much better breakfast lunch and dinner and drinks - room ok- rented beachfront 2 bedroom suite and had big building in front of us - only 1 key per room- and when you leave all ac etc shuts off - some mosquitos in room - the area is lovely and the beach is amazing for swimming and walking- lots of great restaurants/bars and fire shows nearby- the pool was cloudy and the bar was never open so we didn’t go there at all- the few beach chairs they had were all cracked and Broken so not usable and people save them all day and never touch them - they could have such a beautiful spot if they upped the service a little- the massage ladies were excellent - I would highly rec - otherwise we likely would not return due to lack of amenities and tiredness of property- the beach and rest of local offerings would bring me back to area though

Definitely visit!!

Absolute luxury for such a good price, no in Koh Lanta for my birthday and our honeymoon. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me a desert for free on my birthday. Absolutely loved it. Can’t recommend highly enough. It’s a new resort as well and set up beautifully

The resort was nice, located right at the beach. Had a few Beach chairs and umbrellas to use. A little restaurant with drinks and a few menu items to order. Close to other beach restaurants and massage stalls. I stayed in a bungalow, it was decent, with its own little porch in the garden (not much of a view). Had a mini fridge, a kettle and two bottles of drinking water per day.

Great family oriented resort located right on the beautiful Khlong Dao beach. Staff are very focused on making your stay pleasant and taking care of any requests. My only suggestion is the resort should invest in more beach chairs and umbrellas as there weren’t enough for those who wanted them most days. Otherwise everything was great, we would love to stay there again.

Okay option on the beach

The staff are very kind and helpful! The rooms are okay. We had a bunch of fruit flies or gnats in our room but that may have been just our room specifically. The eating area is right off the beach which is really convenient. The pool is nice and big and has a good amount of seating. The only thing is we felt they did a little too much nickel and diming. Every morning you have to go to the front desk to get a voucher to pay for breakfast. The food options were okay but a bit pricey. But, overall, the area is nice and the staff were great. It is a good place to stay for a weekend and probably not longer than that.

The pool and beach area were nice but just plastic lounge chairs without covers that weren’t especially comfortable.
Location was great and breakfast was inexpensive (although I didn’t eat it so can’t comment on that).
My bungalow was a little dark, the wifi didn’t work well inside but fine outside and the hot water in the bathroom was a little smelly.

A really great location on the beach. The staff were quick to service our room whenever we were out. Reception helpful and facilities good. We didn't get breakfast based on previous reviews but had a few drinks in the bar - which was nice. On a couple of days there was a lack of poolside sun loungers and the service at the pool bar wasn't as good as the main bar, but I think that's because she was covering a bit of both. The room service was excellent.

The place was very close to the beach. The rooms are small and are very dated. The heat for showers worked sometimes. The towels didn’t smell very good. We rented a scooter and it was empty on gas and they said we needed to go fill it up, I thought that was odd. Overall it was okay, however I wouldn’t probably go back unless I couldn’t find a better deal. The were attentive for service though, so that’s a plus.

Khlong Dao is a great beach, great place for families with little children.

We stayed in a family room at Laguna beach club. It was basically a normal room with 2 single beds and a king all lined up against one wall with very little space in between. At about $100 USD a night there’s no breakfast included, and the bathroom is very basic, older thai style as a ‘wet room’, with a very poor shower.

The pool is lovely, and it’s a great location right on the beach.

I was expecting a bit more in the way of a restaurant. It selection was very limited. Breakfast (had to pay for) was below average. There were too few loungers around the pool. It was hard to get one as guests would put their towels on the chairs early in the morning But would then be gone for most of the day. Otherwise location was good. Great for families with young children.

Our stay at lagoon beach was very nice. The landscaping was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms very clean. Easy access to the beach with a great pool area. My only complaint was that there was not a blanket on the bed, only a thin top sheet.
Make sure you rent motorbikes from the desk(only 200 baht per day) and explore the island. And take a stroll along the beach to the Indian for the fire show.

We stayed at Laguna Beach Club Resort in Koh Lanta from February 28 to March 7, 2018. We arrived early at the pier and they came and picked us up no problem, even though we had made arrangements for a later pickup time. The staff were always smiling and greeting you everyday. The breakfasts were very good and at a very reasonable price. We stayed in the Oceanfront Penthouse; it’s spacious and comfortable, with a jacuzzi pool on the balcony overlooking the ocean! The pool and the bar drinks were great - they really know how to make great drinks. The staff were also constantly cleaning and trimming the pool, but not in a disturbing way.WIFI very good. Looking forward to returning next year!

Stayed here for a week with my partner in one of the bungalows for a week.
The bungalows maybe basic but have everything you need with a nice verandah out front with table and chairs.
Everywhere is cleaned to a high standard.
The quiet and peaceful resort is right on the beach but has the added bonus of a lovely clean pool as well (although personally I don’t like people smoking cigarettes at the pool bar...ash in the water is never nice).
Breakfast is very good and having been in Thailand for five weeks so far, this is the only place where we have had perfectly fried eggs...
Pizza was very good also.
There is also a good choice of other restaurants along the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.
You can rent scooters or bicycles and all looked in a good, safe condition.
A special mention must be made to the girl on reception who helped us with a few issues. She was so nice and lovely and went above and beyond helping us.....
Thank you Laguna Beach Club for a great stay, we will be recommending you to our family and friends.

Awesome stay and service

Great, great location right on the beach. Everyone was so nice, especially Cindy. The bungalows are very cute and extremely clean. The pool is really big and clean. The resort is easy to get to. I actually walked into town (about 30 mins). Let's of great restaurants along the long beach. I will definitely stay again. I liked that the workers were present but not intrusive. Breakfast is not included, but it was only 120 Bahts extra.

Vi fick ett trebäddsrum, stort och välstädat.
Personalen var serviceminded och alltid ett leende på läpparna. Billigt att köpa till frukost. Ligger precis på stranden Klong Dao. Poolen var välskött. Fick ett par gratis vattenflaskor och kaffepulver varje dag.

Helt okej boende. Man får det man betalar för.
Det Ligger lite avsides, så man måste ha moped eller ta tuktuk till main road, om man inte vill ta en 30 minuters promenad.
Frukosten var tråkig och torr. Valde att köpa hem egen frukost eller äta någon annanstans. Det ligger några få restauranger i närheten och en liten minimart.

Mycket mygg utanför rummet. Har inte upplevt det på andra ställen.

Poolen var helt okej. Den kanske är finare fixad under högsäsong.

Wifi var bra.

Personalen var Bra.

The hotel may be a bit older, but the rooms and the entire property are exceptionally well maintained. Cleanliness is above average, both in the rooms and at the pool, which we are often skeptical about in Thailand, but here it was remarkably well kept. The entire team is incredibly dedicated and goes above and beyond to fulfill every guest’s wishes. The spacious beach is ideal for children, as the water deepens gradually. Additionally, the hotel offers excursions and scooter rentals at the same rates as external providers, with no extra charges. The hotel manager speaks excellent English and takes great care in addressing the needs of all travelers.

Mindre bra var renligheten vid poolen när det tex hade regnat.

Das beste am Laguna ist der direkte Zugang zum Strand und zusätzlich ein Pool. Sehr verschiedene Möglichkeiten des Wohnens. Für Einzelreisende und Familien. Die Anlage ist für Thailand gemütlich und erinnert an frühere Zeiten. Viel Luxus darf aber nicht erwarten werden

We stayed for 4 nights and had booked a family room. After 2 nights our AC had a problem and we needed to change room. The hotell gave us the beach suit without any extra cost, fantastic service. And then our little daughter had a high fever and they immediately called a taxi to see a doctor.
