Was nothing like that last visit in 2017. The elevator didn’t work, so they put us on the 2nd floor. That is not good for a blind 75 year old woman needing assistance. We had to ask for the fridge that was missing from the room to be reinstalled. The room was dusty and not clean and not ready for customers (ie toilet paper, etc) Very disappointed in overall stay.

The elevator was broken. We did not learn pd this issue until check in. I am traveling with my 81 year old mother, who has lung cancer. The hotel originally putbus in a 4th floor room, with a balcony door that did not lock. When I told them my mom couldn't so the staira they put us in a 2nd floor room. Stairs were still difficult for my mom. The front desk staff didnt care, and offered zero refund on our prepay room, evem though we were downgraded. Downgraded room had dirt piled up in the corners. No towels. No water. Broken box springs. This hotel should be embarressed. We did get a $50 coupon from Expedia, to compensate us for our troubles.

The only good parts of this hotel were the gard working bell staff, who carried our heavy bags to the 4th floor, and then the 2nd floor. The 1st floor restaurant was also good for Filipino food.

After paying for my room, and given a choice of Large or Two Twin Beds, I choose one Large Bed. After arriving, and seeing the room, I was disappointed, becz no Large bed, just two small ones. When I asked about the bed, I was told it's more money. Humm... There was no safe, so I could not leave any valuables, which was a hassle. The place was clean, but, very dated. The restaurant was way too expensive, @400p for buffet with so little choices. I do not see myself returning... A friend of mine in another room, stated the same thing.

We have always stayed at this hotel and was okay, but this time , i suppose over the years. Nothing has been done, Toilet was blocked, no hot water. Staff not helpful when asking for help bringing bags to reception, had to do this ourselves and after the lift arrived at reception, All the staff were just standing there after 2 seperate attempts to get help, no responce, and we had booked and paid upfront months in advance and upon arrival they did not have the rooms we ordered. This was not acceptable as prior we had highly recommended the hotel and we referred this to our friends and unfortunately we were let down, Lots of other hotels , cheaper and better quality

The hotel staffs are very pleasant and helpful. However, we were given a room with dirty and smelly bedsheets. The comforter is dirty and the bedsheet has stain of something disgusting. The towels are stained and smelly. The hot shower became too hot for one minute and then cold water came out the rest of the time.

Nice hotel with a fantastic view of Manila Bay

I've stayed in Aloha Hotel previously because of the fantastic seaview and partial view of Manila Yacht Club. It is also walking distance to Luneta park and Cultural Centre. Happy with the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful and most of all, honest as we left our cell phone in the room when we checked out. We came back after half an hour and staff went back to the room and found the cell phone! Will come back to this hotel on our next holiday and will reccommend to friends.

The hotel is conveniently located along the Blvd

Our stay was okay. We could walk around the Malate area and easily go to the Malate area.
The room was comfortable and we had the city side view.
Being on the 6th floor gave us a good view.

Spacious nice simple hotel.

Room is spacious. The tall building still under construction besides aloha affects the environment. Staff are very friendly. Aristocrat famous chicken barbeque just beside. Robinson mall 20 min walk.

The hotel is closed to PICC where we had our convention. Taxi is easy to get. We had a nice stay in the hotel. We just used for sleeping because we are out the whole day. The restaurant serves delicious foods.

Very noisy !!

No coffee in room or tea bags , I asked for some sugar and tea for the room !! Never came !! The room is not sound proof so you hear the traffic all night !! And there is no pool very disappointed

My stay was pretty nice. When I first got to the hotel, the staff and service workers were extremely hospitable. It was my first time in the Philippines, and it was a nice first night stay. I actually paid extra online to have a bay view which I was not accommodated for but in the end I didn't complain because I literally only slept there for a couple of hours before leaving out the next morning.

The room smelled a bit damp when I first walked in, but after the concierge got the air conditioning going, the room was very nice. It was also very spacious! I could've easily had two more people with me and we would have been able to move about comfortably. The room came with a foyer/kitchen area, bedroom, and closet room. The shower had nice warm water and there were many lights. The television was also good. I don't watch TV but I actually sat and watched a bit of cartoons before going out.

I didn't stay in the neighborhood, which is why I hadn't commented on it. I went to party in Makati that night.

The room comes with free breakfast which was cool, although the food was delicious, the breakfast was actually kind of cold. Probably for sitting out for a couple of hours.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the night.

Very convenient, but bring earplugs

I stay here every time I'm in Manila. It's a great price, easy to get to from the airport (just say on the corner of Roxas Blvd. and Quirino, and every cab driver knows exactly where it is, ~175 Pesos if they use the meter, ~300 if they don't), has good AC, free wireless internet, and the people are friendly. And it's a short walk to Harrison mall (10 mins) or the Aristocrat restaurant (5 mins). A short cab ride to Mall of Asia. I've stayed here over 20 times. The bayside rooms face the water and have great sunset views, while the city side rooms are quieter. The only bad thing this time was that there were 2 different smoke detectors on my floor that had low batteries so they would beep every 30 seconds. ALL THE TIME. I stayed one night and told the front desk, but nothing happened. Then I went to the provinces for 1.5 weeks, then came back for the final 4 days, and they were still beeping! So I went and bought batteries and tried replacing them myself. Either the batteries I bought were equally dead, or the sensors themselves were broken because they just kept on beeping. 5 Days of beeping. Ugh. Luckily I always have earplugs, but it really did make the stay much harder. I heard beeps on other floors as well, so it's really something they should fix. Will I stay here again? Yup. Convenient.

Yay for food trips and the view

The room was great and spacious and the view was great even from a city side room. Very accessible from the airport and is surrounded by must-try food places and if you feel lazy going out(which I'll doubt) there's also the in-house restaurants which you can either visit or get room service.

PS: the beach was certainly not for swimming. Great sunset views from the Manila Bay guaranteed from the bay side rooms.

I came to the Philippines and saw the hotel online the price was great i had a good view from my balcony rooms were very clean .The only thing that was wrong and it was minor was the shower head in our room was lose .But other wise a wonderful place to stay. as a matter of fact i am flying back very soon and going to stay there again

Quick stop over.

Stayed 2 nights while waiting for our flight back to states. Convenient to downtown and airport. Older, but comfortable hotel. Computer facilities for flight confirmation for a reasonable fee. Helpful staff. 2 good restaurants on premises. All in all a good place to prepare for flight. Older, but still comfortable facilities. As everywhere in the Philippines; a very pleasant and helpful staff.

Moderately priced, great location, easy to find

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are needing to use the airport at all, but also want to stay out of the really expensive hotels. My dad and I have stayed here for years, every time when we visit. The rooms are large enough for you to lay out all your luggage (even dive gear), the people are friendly, and if your flight gets in a 3:45am, they will still let you check in even though you're 10 hours early for check-in time. They will also hold your luggage in a locked room for you if you check out at noon and then have 10 hours to kill before your next flight.
It is a straight shot from NAIA, it takes about an hour in rush hour (doesn't it always?) and about $120PHP to get there. \"It's on the corner of Roxas and Quirino\" and every cab driver knows exactly how to get there, even if you don't. It's also easy walking distance to the Aristocrat, a really good \"native food\" restaurant.
The internet is slow, but it's there and it's free. The bay room has the view, but it's also louder than the city side room, so either way there are benefits.

I got what I paid for

The view was nice . Missing a knob on the air cond. but I was still able to a just it. There was construction going on next door and they work late in the night . The pope was coming so there was a lot going on. But most everything was good.

Got what you paid for

No real issues,, hotel showing its age but you get what you pay for. Its reasonable value. Great room staff (Hernan). Stayed for four nights. Taxi drivers just before Christmas though, thought they had a right to big tips or not using meters and with my limited but not poor knowledge of the streets I felt they almost always took long way round. (7 OF 9 DRIVERS USED TRIED ALL OR SOME OF THESE TRICKS)
