For a quick stop in Bellingham not a bad spot

Great price for a clean, reliable room near downtown Bellingham! I had a few items mistakenly left in my room and had no trouble recovering everything in unharmed condition. Vikram at the front desk was particularly helpful! Will definitely consider this property next time I stay in B-Ham.

So we had a mix up with Expedia and one of the rooms was a day short. Other hotels would have grabbed our items and either thrown away or bagged our stuff. However Neil made sure to call us if we were okay and wanted to figure out what happened. Extremely forgiving and helpful, he gave us the time to go back and fix our reservation. Extremely good customer service that went above and beyond what most hotels offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and good area close to several fast food joints. A good starting point for sight seeing. 6/5 stars will come again.

The heat could not be adjusted but because of the large gap in the front door enough cool airflow came in. The toilet seat was loose and had hairs on it, and hairs were in the shower. The floors were filthy, as was the bathroom light, falling down and had dead bugs in it. We fixed the toilet

The room was as expected from the lower pricing, beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was decent. The motel has an easy access from the highway and close to amenities. Only drawback is the highway noise but an earplug fixed that easily. Staff at desk were nice and helpful.

The employees do not communicate. You cannot get a complete set of sheets and towels. The pool was open over 4th of July but only to owners family , not guest. Then closed next week after family left. Different rooms have different issues like tv not working, toilet runs all the time. Lights vary if they have a bulb. We found the owner does not care, I am sure Motel 6 would be upset to see how this place is being run. More times than not I’ve machine would not work, after a day or two you tell front desk, they did not know it was out of order. We stayed due to convenience.

Main high traffic areas were kept clean while areas of the room like ledges, etc. were visibly dusty and rooms that were non-smoking smelled overwhelminglylike smoke. Windows were very thin walls were very thin. It was very easy to hear neighbors. And the highway.

Fix AC units, heat doesn't work, check the bed for bed bugs, last room was in, hard to get the lights turn on because light switch didn't work, another was rusty and hold up with electrical tape, a few roaches, need to be treated for all insects, overall the staff and community was great, sweet manager, the only one house keeper best of her abilities, sweet kind and kept up with the work

The room was very dirty (bits of fake eyelashes on the bedspread, dirt on the covers), the toilet was clogged when I arrived, and there was sand/dirt on the floor. The room also smelled strongly of kitty litter. The shower curtain hooks were broken and didn't cover the shower, so water would spray out, no matter how I arranged it. There was so much dog poop on all the grounds that I didn't want to let my dog walk on the grass to pee. I honestly have never seen so much dog poop, anywhere. Staff were all awesome, but I suspect that they need to be paid more!

Just wanted a cheap place to stay for a night and this was fine. Room was pretty disgusting, but at least the sheets were clean I guess. The door wasn't aligned with the frame, so we couldn't get the door to deadbolt despite an ominous sign telling us to deadbolt the door for our protection. Ended up stacking both of our suit cases in front of the door for an uneasy night's rest.

Good for a quick overnight stay
It's a Motel 6, so our expectations weren't super high. The lady who checked us in was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. When our first room was discovered to have a leak in the bathroom, she quickly got us into another room. She even warned us about the freeway traffic noise (which, honestly, wasn't so bad). Overall, it's a decent place to crash for a short stay when you're on a budget. Bare bones, and the beds are comfortable enough.

I called the motel office, she called the supervisor and told me the maintenance guy will come right now. After half an hour again I called again and then went to the office, she told me that the maintenance guy went to the wrong room number. About one hour and half or two hours the staff member came with some thing and she tried for ten minutes and then she came out and said it’s fixed. Thank you for your help

Good value--I'd come back!
Thankfully this motel is quieter than the previous 2 years except if you are on Hwy 5 side-East. Toilets can be problematic--I'd scrap their weird type if I managed here. Also, wish the shower heads were towards the back of the shower. Pool is down. Ice machine better than some Motel 6's CA. HVAC is automatic--call 0 for help if needed temp wise.

Arrived at the property at 5pm and my friend's room wasn't ready. In my room, half of the bed sagged down 7-10 inches. I had to move the nightstand to access plugs. The motel is adjacent to a freeway and you can hear it really clearly. I'm sure there are things I'm missing, but this was a very negative experience.

Looks like there are permanent residents, and there are chairs in the parking lot. The room smelled strongly of piss, and the bed linens were paper thin and did not smell fresh. We slept in our clothes and left our luggage in the car. The whole room stank, but the bathroom smelled even worse than the room.

At Motel 6 you are looking for an inexpensive room that is reasonably clean and has a reasonably comfortable bed, nothing more. The room was small but OK for the price. The bathroom shower did not appear to have been cleaned, so much so that neither my adult son nor I were willing to use it, the rest of the room was clean enough. The motel is near the freeway so there is a lot of traffic noise. Positives include lots of restaurants nearby and, as noted, convenient to the freeway and the ferry.

My experience was not of those reflected in recent good reviews. The area and motel was pretty sketchy. Upon check in the front desk requested IDs from everyone in the party which was really odd, I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and never had to give identification of everyone staying in the room, there was only two of us. We left and got different accommodations for the evening.

I thought it was great for the price. Friendly staff, clean room. It was a little tough to find. The light on the motel 6 sign in the driveway was burnt out so I drove right by. I did notice the pool was empty but I wasn’t planning on swimming so I didn’t care. Basically a good hotel if you are looking for a clean, quiet room for the night.

The place is budget friendly, lots of dining options located in the immediate vicinity, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Every once and awhile there is burst of rowdiness, through no fault of hotel staff and they always take care of issues in a timely manner. As long as I work in the area, this place is always around the top of my search options

This motel was old & lots of loud activity outside. I stayed 4 days I had to ask for new towels twice. One of the towels was stained & dirty. No service for 4 days it was pouring rain & we stayed with dogs we could have used the room making up at least once. There was a dumpster outside so I took out garbage out there. When I removed the plastic bag from the trash can the can was black & rotten in the bottom. However it was cheap so I guess for the price it was ok.

The room was tiny with one bed against the wall by the door and right up against the heater/ac unit. No room to move the bed!

The mini fridges have been removed leaving an empty space where they once were which was fine until I took the ice bucket and liner down to the front desk and asked where the ice machine was, was told there is not one. So why do they provide ice buckets with plastic liners?
