The location of the hotel can’t be beat. We were a short walk to the coliseum, pantheon, Travis fountain, and I think I could have hit a golf ball to the Spanish steps. Hotel is a little on the older side, but was very comfortable.

The staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. If you needed something such as ice or a bottle opener, ask the front desk and it will be delivered to your room. We ordered a taxi twice and the staff will advice you to be ready to leave because there is not a place for taxi's to stop for very long. Both times, the taxis were quick to arrive and a fair price. The staff will advice you approximately how long they may take depending on the time of day. The hotel staff will also help with your questions about traveling around the city of Rome if needed. We did not need the air conditioning as it was the perfect temperature in May.
We enjoyed the many breakfast choices including the quick service and smiling server. Having a hot cappuccino or two every morning and a fresh basket of pastries was a delight.
The room was clean and fine for two of us, and we liked that it was in a quiet area, not as busy as near the tourist sites. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and many of the popular sites. We would definately stay at the Hotel Gregoriana again if we return to Rome.

My stay at Hotel Gregoriana in Rome was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and many of Rome's most famous attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with recommendations, directions, and any questions we had. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing place to return to after a day of sightseeing.

One of the highlights was the charming atmosphere of the hotel, which combines classic Roman character with modern comfort. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, offering a great start to each day.

I would highly recommend Hotel Gregoriana to anyone visiting Rome. Its outstanding location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations made our trip even more memorable. I would gladly stay here again on a future visit.

This hotel is well very situated, 3 minute walk to Spanish steps and Shopping, less than 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Vatican City is 40-45 minute walk.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants. (Thank you Fabriu)
Room was clean and well appointed with a/c and mini fridge. Breakfast was continental style with various breads, croissants, cheese and fruits. Expresso, Cappuccino and other drinks available.
We stayed 4 nights and would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Gregorianna.

The hotel was very conveniently located. It is five minutes to the Spanish Steps and 20 minutes to the Roman Forum. The shopping is excellent and there is an abundance of restaurants in the area. I love having a private balcony so that was a huge bonus. It's a nice hotel with wonderful staff and I'm very happy with the choice I made to stay here.

This little hotel is on a side road a few metres from the Spanish Steps. It is a peaceful haven, no noise from the crowds. The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast is simple but nice (bread, pastries, fruit etc). You pay extra for an egg but it is only 2 euros, not a problem. The single room is small, which is OK, but the walls need painting and sleeping next to a wall with greasy marks is not nice. Also the air con is a bit smelly. Sort those two problems out and this hotel would be superb. As it is it is still very good. Thank you Gregorianna staff.

It was in such a great location. Walkable to everything. I happened to love throwing open the large window and hearing the sounds of life outside. But once closed, the room was very quiet. The staff was friendly , we had some laughs. The breakfast was very good. I loved the basket of breads each morning with jam and our American coffee.

Very well located. The breakfast its simple but good. The showers are cruise ship size. Good water pressure. No conditioner just shampoo and body wash. Some staff were very nice, others were ok. The beds are not the best. But the location its worth it.

Everything was fine. I would not recommend getting the top floor room because after the elevator on floor three you have to walk up steep steps one flight to the room so if anyone has any problems walking, that would not be a good choice however, the room was lovely. It also had a little patio outside and it was very clean with a lovely view

The property is very clean. The breakfast menu offers a typical Italian selection. Special requests are available but at a fee. The property is small. Only around twenty rooms varying in size, so very quiet. The location is ideal if you like to walk. Most of the sites are close. The farthest would be the Vatican, around a pleasant 40 minute walk. The Colosseum and the Forums are about 30 minutes, with the Trevi Fountain along the route. The Spanish Steps are just around the corner. Lots of food choices down every street. We love it. The staff are great. Very friendly and helpful. We've stayed there 3 times and have not had a bad experience. 5 stars all around.

Great location for our visit to Rome. The room was clean and the little balcony was a nice feature. We only ended up eating breakfast once but the coffee and tea were good and the croissant I had was yummy. The evening front desk staff members were both very nice. The bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows in the closet. The location was quiet and after finding it the first time there was no problem. We did use a taxi the first time to avoid climbing the Spanish Steps after our very long travel day. The little elevator was also very much appreciated after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

The hotel was in a good location near the Spanish Steps. If you’re taking the metro it’s best to get off at the Barberini station and not Spagna station as you will have to go up the Spanish Steps or around them to get to the hotel. Hotel was nice and the room was a good size. The breakfast selection was limited and not as nice as we had experienced at other hotels in Italy. Eggs were available for an additional charge. You also have to turn in your room key when you leave the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great…only “steps” from the Spanish Steps and maybe 5 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed chatting with other guests during breakfast. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

A mixed experience - a decent hotel with room for improvement.

Positives: Rooms are clean, and the hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast is good and the breakfast staff and cleaners are friendly.

Negatives: Some of the reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. There was no attempt to converse upon check-in (despite there being no language barrier) - we were simply given the room key and that was it. I have travelled to Rome many times before, and showing a little courtesy and politeness is the norm, not the exception.

The rooms lack modern plugs. Charging phones required using the adapter connected to the mini fridge. All the plugs in the room are old fashioned which do not work with modern European charging devices.

The breakfast is good, however, fresh orange juice and eggs come at an extra cost. This can be interpreted as misleading given that the breakfast is listed as being 'free' on third-party websites. I would rather pay for breakfast in which everything is included than have a 'free' breakfast whereby I have to pay for certain options.

This is the first hotel whereby I have had to leave the key at the front desk each time I have gone outside. Not entirely sure of the rationale here.

As a solo female traveler on my first out of country trip, I am so incredibly fortunate to have picked this hotel. The staff were so friendly, pleasant and professional. The hotel was in a perfect spot, within walking distance of almost everything you could want to do! I walked to the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and the Vatican. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. They offered breakfast every morning in the cutest little cafe in the basement area. The rooms were simple and clean. The staff took extra care to tidy up my room every day. I cannot give enough stars to this place! 100/10 recommend.

We stayed at their suite and we were able to experience New Years at the patio from our room. They are on top of cleanliness and we get fresh bedding and towels each day of our stay. We felt safe and so did our things. It is close to many attractions, food and shopping, yet the street side doesn’t get too crowded and pretty quiet at night. It was an overall great experience. Shout out to Stefano for sharing his smile and being a sweet gentleman.

Worst hotel we have stayed at ever. For an average of $400.00 a night you will expect better. Not worth the money we paid.

The room needs an upgrade or maintenance. The carpet was filthy, needs a very good deep cleaning. The paint in the bathroom was peeling.

The balcony is a hallway, you have to squeeze to be able to sit in the chair at the other end of the table. The Inner Courtyard View looks at a building that looks abandoned.

Air Conditioner does not work in December, just heat. If you want to cool the room you are told to open the Window.

If you want eggs at the included breakfast you have to pay extra.

Positive Points;

Coffee was good and the gentleman attending the breakfast was very nice and attentive.
