This is a very well situated hotel in old Prague. Just a few minutes from the main square even for us older people. The hotel was very well maintained and had cookies available in the lobby all the time. The included breakfast was superior! The room was large and beds comfortable.
We were just the next block to a market, and a chocolate store was only a few steps away.
I would organize transportation to the hotel if coming in by rail. It would be a long walk and we never ventured on the public transport.

Great location. We had a little trouble finding the front door, but once we found it, it was fine! The taxi and Uber drivers were not able to pull up directly in front of the door, so you had to really watch for them. We missed one ride because we didn't know where the driver stopped. the breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Prague. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see, yet still quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always making sure we had what we needed.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated how easy it was to get around from the hotel, whether walking or using public transportation.

Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Prague.

Pros: Location of hotel is excellent, breakfast is very good and generous. Room is clean and organized.
Cons: small hotel with limited service. Arrived late, 3 adults. 2 beds. One full and one queen. The full bed had child comforter on it. The front desk person was not able to get me an adult size comforter since housekeeping is longer present. Not a pleasant experience.
Walls are paper thin. The next door room had barking dog and loud TV during the night. First floor room in front with some noise from the street.

The property cannot be reached by taxi or Uber so you have to walk a way for transportation even with your luggage. There is no working phone in the room. Other than those two issues, the hotel is nice. The rooms are very quiet and really large; the bathrooms were big; and the breakfast buffet was substantial. Most of all, the location was excellent. I would readily stay there again.

We had an issue with the shower head that was loose and they fixed it inmediately. Location is great, in the middle of old city closed to all attractions. We would definetely stay here again!

The location of Hotel Leon d'Oro is perfect! It was several short blocks to the new Old Town Square and the world renowned astronomical click. It was also an easy walk to Winseslas Square and St. Charles Bridge.

The staff were very helpful, a great breakfast selection and the room was very large.

Con: the male staff at the front desk is abit rude and cold, definitely spoiler to the stay experience.

Where to start? Slap bang in the middle of the 'Old Town', within 100m of the Clock Tower and the central Xmas Market. Really nicely appointed hotel, oozing class the moment one walks in the door. Bedroom and ensuite bathroom very clean and modern: beds made up every day with clean towels etc. Comprehensive breakfast with oodles of choice. Friendly staff at all levels. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Prague and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Room was spacious and clean. Even though we were close to one of the lifts the room was quiet. The hotel was well situated for the Christmas markets which is why we were in Prague.
The staff were polite and helpful.
We would recommend using the airport transfer as there are some scam taxis operating at the airport. Our transfer driver was polite and his English was good.
Overall a lovely city to visit and we had a good break.

We had 2 x triple rooms.
The rooms were quite different in size but were all big enough.

Slightly dated decor and the church bills at 8am outside the front means no alarms needed!

Thecstaff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was plentiful.

Great location for everything we wanted to see in Prague.

Breakfast had a lot of variety compared to other hotels. The parking space was very spacious, but the front reception area had a strong smell. Why don't you make it less fragrant or fragrance-free?

Some of the reception staff were rude when some were very pleasant
Cleaning carts were moving around floors from
6am in the morning which we found hard to go back to sleep.
The rooms were very clean and breakfast walls good.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent-just a short walk to Prague's Old Town. The room is a bit dated, but it's budget-friendly and offers good value for the price.

The location! It was close to all the major attractions in Prague. You can walk around easily. Many places to eat around the hotel.
The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful. They even have available tours to book last minute which is very convenient.
Many choices for breakfast and efficient breakfast crew.
Highly recommend and will stay again.

Wonderful hotel.
The location is perfect for exploring old town, central, but still quiet in a side steeet.
We had a huge room, 2 floors, 2 bathrooms with a large deep tub on 1 floor & stand up shower in the other. The upstairs opened to a private deck, with gorgeous city views.
The breakfast was included and had something for everyone. They use skeleton keys, that we leave with the front desk for safekeeping when coming and going. I felt safe there, which is important, esp being alone with just my son and i travelling. Ph, and they hold bags if you areive early or have a later flight.

Where to start, superb location, great room. We had a triple and never been in such a big room, it was huge. Spotless clean. The breakfast was unbelievable good and the staff super attentive. 10 out of 10 for everything.

Brilliant hotel. Only criticism would be that the pillows are far too soft for our preferences. We were only staying 2 nights so it wasn’t a problem really. The AC was quite noisy and couldn’t really be left on overnight.

Staff are fantastic. The breakfast was excellent and varied and again the staff were very attentive and quick to clear tables.

Would happily stay again.

The room was cleaned each day and was a large room. A complaint that we have about the room is that the red carpet dyed items red. My duffle, socks, and pants have red dye on them from the carpet

200 out of 10. Absolutely I plan on a vacation again to Prague just because of this hotel.

The breakfast was fantastic, the location was unbelievable, the staff was super accommodating, the room was like a full apartment.

You could walk to everything, you could visit anything within five minutes, except the cast. The staff was super kind and helpful.. honestly the location is un. We had a rooftop to ourselves with a private balcony on top of the whole building.. there are several different apartments that have their own private balcony and rooftop.

The lady at check-in was wonderful and so helpful. Some of the other female employees were less than good. The location is great, the breakfast buffet had choices, and our room was clean and quiet. Highly recommended, but you may differ if you meet a less then helpful lady, that bad luck.

I paid for a room with balcony and I didn't get the room that I paid for. They gave another type of room. I took a shower as soon as I got to the room and the drain was clogged. The water started coming out of the shower. I asked for another room and they sent the maintenance guy to fix the problem. Breakfast is very basic. Bad experience. I don't recommend this hotel.
