The Positive:
The staff was amazing. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Make sure to take cash to tip them, they worked very hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. The food was great. We booked via email ahead of time and had reservations every night. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Even the food at the pool bar was good. The water at the beach is crystal clear. There is also lots of fish and creatures in it to see. There are small reefs just off shore so if you have gear you can snorkel right off the beach. There are chairs/umbrellas they will set up for you. The shade under the tree is the best spot. Waitresses take drink orders on the beach all day and are quick back and forth from the bar. There are shops just outside the hotel for extra items.

The negative: The bathroom is open to the bedroom. No wall or door between them. For a family with a teenage daughter this was awkward. There is curtain you can pull down but it did nothing to block sound so if someone got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you could hear it. I suppose for couples this isn’t a big deal but if you go as a family it’s a little odd. The beach is connected to a public beach club. This is also where the cruise ships drop people off so it gets pretty busy. Bc of that there is a lot of trash that people just leave at the end of the day the hotel has to try and clean up, but a lot is left on the beach club side and gets blown around.

Wonderful all inclusive boutique hotel. Ocean view junior suite in the way to go - large double shower, soaking tub, balcony with great view. Property was immaculate with everything we needed on site for our stay. The spa was great- did a couples massage and staff was very attentive and professional. Food was great from the buffet to sit down restaurants. Will definitely return.

The room and the view makes it worth it! You must see the sunset on the rooftop and they have the best beach clean however it is by a public beach which can get really loud and busy. Food was okay just very limited options and sadly the jerk hut near pool not so good food. Pool was nice never to busy, rooftop pool very small. No real daily activities so can make the day feel a little flat. Tried the spa half the packages are out so you can’t actually use those other pools. Near the hip strip so lots of things you can get to pretty fast. Overall the hotel is pretty underwhelming but I would go back just maybe with a partner not with family.

Check-in took a bit longer than expected, small little mishap with my room but it was resolve immediately. I must say eveything else was PERFECT! The property was clean, my room was beautiful and clean, the staff were amazing everyone was so friendly. The daily food of choice was always on point. The drinks could be a little stronger but overall I had an amazing time at the S hotel and would go back there every single time and would definitely recommend it to others. We had an ocean view room which was truly amazing. The hotel is luxurious, with great attention to detail. The staff were friendly and made you feels very special, nothing was too much trouble and they catered to your every need, even had drinks service on the beach! There was always a selection of food and drinks and again if you wanted you could have pool service. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel for couples or friends or even solo travellers.

Hotel was very clean and updated. Pool is average size but wasn’t crowded during our stay. We did not use the one on the 5th floor during our stay. It is small but we never saw more than 2/3 people in it. Restaurants were all clean, staff efficient and friendly and food very good. Outside bar is ok. Bartenders and servers were mostly nice and helpful. Beach area for hotel is smaller and you need to get a seat very early to be on the front row. Drink menu is limited at the beach and no food service. Directly Outside of the resort is questionable and shop workers are very aggressive. Overall nice place. (Mar 26)

This is the second time I have stayed here, it was great the first time. This time I found the wait staff a little rude, the chef at the grill really rude but the front desk staff excellent. We had a cabana room where the cabana had not been cleaned so we couldn’t use it. We went to the seafood resto and the gnocchi was inedible, They had a bingo game at the pool and I won but they had no prize!

I recommend booking a suit with a cabana it's so worth is. the ocean is visible from your cabana. Staff is so polite and helpful. Food is diverse and good- make a reservation to the restaurants upstairs. Make sure to go enjoy the roof top bar and pool, it's kind of hidden.

The staff was excellent, they go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a lot of action, stay somewhere else, this place has a very laid back vibe. Never had to wait for a lounge by the pool or on the beach. I was looking for a place to snorkel without going on an excursion, and this fit the bill. There are coral reefs right in front of the place.

There are truly so many amazing things to say about S Hotel in Montego Bay. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and fun, every single person we encountered went out of their way to make sure we were having the best possible experience.
Our room was beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable, the perfect balance of modern design and relaxing luxury. The hotel truly delivers on its promise of boutique luxury. It’s in the thoughtful details: the beautifully designed spaces, the curated daily events, and the overall atmosphere that makes you feel both pampered and completely at ease.
The food was outstanding, and each restaurant had its own unique, stylish vibe. The DJ at the pool brought such a great energy, it made every afternoon feel like a celebration without ever being overwhelming.
Honestly, we’ve never felt so welcomed or had such a consistently wonderful experience at a hotel. It was unforgettable, and we will absolutely be coming back. Shout out to Andres. My fave to say hi to in the cafe.

This resort did not meet expectations, especially for the price. Upon arrival, we had to sign a document stating that the property was in disrepair and that some services were unavailable—none of which was disclosed during booking. Restaurant reservations were unavailable, leaving us with only the buffet, which was disappointing. On top of that, several services, including room service, required additional fees despite being advertised as all-inclusive. Overall, this was not the luxury experience we were promised.

The upstairs pool was wonderful and th me views up there were fantastic! The beach was lovely but be prepared for the cruise ship sailers as they occupy a large portion of the beach. I cannot recommend this place more. We are well-seasoned travelers with two teenage children. This was the best experience we have ever had. I would recommend this resort to people who do not need a party vacation, but are looking for high quality luxurious relaxation.

Pros:
- Food food food(so much variety, always available and fresh, creative offerings, amazingly tasty)
- wonderful shower(water pressure, heat)
-daily entertainment(every day had unique activities from hotel history tour to trivia, to water aerobics, to beer pong to dominoes and so on) It was fun to lounge for a bit and then play.
- evening entertainment(mostly a variety of bands, singers... but played great music and all done by 10pm)
- not crowded(always a cabana, a pool chair or a beach chair available. buffet is not a mad dash, but calm and easy to navigate)
- staff(so helpful and accommodating)
- resort size(only 115 rooms with all spaces around the pool. We were there with a 15 year old, a 17 year old and two 80 year olds. The resort was so easily accessible for all. We met so many families with kids and the kids were able to all run around the resort. Perfect size)

Cons:
- wifi was extremely spotty. This could be due to the hurricane and could be considered a pro as my kids had to stay off.
- rooms feel a bit tired, but who stays in the rooms.
- fitness center is small, but does the job.
- evening entertainment is more geared towards adults.

Amazing views especially from my balcony. Being on the beach was a huge plus. Staff was amazing and very helpful. The lobby atmosphere and decor just pulled you right in the moment you enter.
