I made my reservation online. Maybe a map of your property would be helpful online so I would have known the location of different rooms to choose from. Unfortunately, the folks next to us were extremely loud all evening. This obviously was not your fault, but the walls must be very thin. We would definitely return to your property in the future if we are in the area.

The rooms weren’t super clean, there’s a lot of dead bugs around, the AC works fine but if you decide to put the heat on you’ll smell a harsh burning smell that stinks up the room.
The staff was very friendly however which is always nice but I think in terms of the rooms itself they should remodel/refurnish the furniture and decorations to feel more country like!

The room was stuffy and smelled like urine. The amenities were outdated and lamp and coffee maker were connected to an extension cord that looked like it had had a short. The remote didn’t work and the walls were paper thin and could hear the room next to us loud and clear.

Room was clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There is no restaurant on the property, and the food available at the marina is a long walk away. It’s a great place for a quiet retreat or for those who have a boat and enjoy fishing. I would stay again.

Paper thin walls, I could hear the person in the next room snoring… also could hear him and his lady fighting, her crying, loud as can be I’m understanding that it’s not the hotel fault at the bad courtesy of the patrons but why the heck are the walls so thin!? I could’ve walked through them I swear. Not to mention the extreme tiny showers. I would take great lengths to avoid this hotel. Sign everywhere say no drinking allowed… Which nothing but drunks drinking outside their rooms, loudly at 2am. Just avoid this place if you’ve got a family. I know for me and mines we ain’t comin back.

We showed up late, but I had called ahead of time and they were nice enough to leave our room key where it was easy to access, and they even left the light on in the room for us. The room was clean and cozy, and the lake is beautiful!!! We were only there for a quick overnight, but I would love to go back and spend some time at the lodge and in the area. This was perfect for us, and definetely better than a run of the mill hotel room.

Beautiful location!! We haven’t even checked out and I am writing this review. My husband planned this for my birthday since all I wanted to do was relax and fish…and we did just that! The room was very cute and affordable. The staff was amazing..special shoutout to Marvin!! He was so helpful and made this experience everything! I noticed slight construction however that didn’t interfere with anything and just means that this place is going to be even more amazing when we return. Definitely coming back with the kiddos. CANT WAIT!

It was a quite place except for the walls that are so thin. You can here people snoring in the other room. Keep the ac fan going to muffled the noise from the outside. I wish they have a curtains for the window because with the light outside, it was too bright for us. Otherwise, the room and bathroom is nice and clean. The shower is like in the cruise shower. Tiny. But the bathroom itself has a good space. The room is spacious and i really appreciate the extension outlet that they installed with 2- 3 sockets that we do not have to move furniture just to plug our stuff. But again, there were only 2 of us. The small fridge, microwave and tiny coffee maker helped us a lot for breakfast. There is no near quick breakfast place around. So if you are a breakfast person, bring something. The whole facility itself is clean and nice. Maybe it will be more prettier when the flowers and trees comes alive after winter.

Walls are thin! We could hear the family staying next to us all night. From snoring, to babies crying and all other chit chat. We had a hard time sleeping and felt uncomfortable all night. The room layout was not planned out well if I could hear someone snoring right behind me. Would not stay again

Beautiful location, will definitely go again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We saw deer close to the rooms, the location is great for enjoying the lake. Plenty of local eateries and places to explore. Close to Sharkarosa Zoo, which was great for the kids and definitely a great place to visit and show support. We didn't go out on the water due to the time of year, but they have rentals for boats, kayak's and Jet ski's and the beach along the way was fun for the kids.
This would be a great spot for a couples romatic weekend, or a wedding venue too.. beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Lot's of fun trails to explore although we didnt get to explore as much as we would have like due to time constraints.

This is a very remote and quiet hotel with a potential gold mine of a location. They are doing some additions which could make this even more beautiful. I wish they would. Clear some more of the brush that blocks a lot of the lake view. It’s very nice as is but could be breathtaking if they did more clearing.

Great location. But be warned, the accommodation is small, there is no sound proofing, inadequate bedding, making for a very poor nights sleep, shower very small if you are larger, you will not fit, and, despite advertising breakfast, there is none!

Nice place on the lake. I did have an issue that wasn’t resolved while I was there but they gave me a full refund. Things go wrong sometimes but the true test of a customer based business is how they handle it. Lonestar stepped up on this one. It’s uncanny how noisy a room 15 miles from nowhere can be. Walls are paper thin. Nowhere to eat, so go to the grocery store before you arrive. Fridge is super small, though. This is a $45 room at best.
