Very dated in all ways. We had a room without a pullout couch. There were no pillows in the room for the bed. We went to the front desk and asked to which they replied...\"we don't have pillows\" How is that possible? When we used the pool on Saturday no one had been in to clean since the night before. A entire basket full of dirty towels, pool was dirty, and random items in the pool (floaties) trash on all the tables. When we went to ask for towels for the pool. They also said they didn't have any... a couple of the outlets in the room made weird noises when we plugged something into them. Paint peeling in the bathroom.

The room had a safe but didn't work. Asked after we checked it to have it fixed, was told the next day...nothing...other person said they are not replacing safes after they stop working. Some of the lights didn't have all the bulbs. At one point I needed to call the front desk...the phone didn't work, so had to walk to it. They only cleaned the room every third day. Had to buy air freshener due to the odor in the room. Workers smoke right outside the entrance and for non-smokers it is disgusting.
Would never stay there again.

The humidity on the first floor, where the pool is located, is so high that our entire room was damp throughout the stay. As the week went on and the temperatures rose and rain came into town, the humidity in the room became unbearable. All of my belongings were damp and I am sure my pillows are ruined. The bed was damp all week and we never even turned down the covers, we used our own blankets that all left the hotel damp. It’s impossible to sleep in humidity that high. Guess what a wet humid room attracts? Bugs, there were bugs. The humidity was so bad that directly after checking out I had to visit a clinic for an asthma treatment because the exposure to the extra high humidity made breathing difficult. I discussed the concern with the manager who was kind but also insulting by insinuating that humidity so high it makes an entire room damp with moisture is actually just normal for the area and I must not be familiar with humidity. I am literally from that town! It was insulting for her to tell me I just don’t know what humid environments are like. No ma’am, the hotel room shouldn’t be wet. I shouldn’t have left with all of belongings damp and I shouldn’t have had an asthma episode triggered simply because the inside of the hotel room is too humid to breathe. Don’t stay here. Even if you go when the humidity isn’t at an all time high, the breakfast food will disappoint you before making you sick and coffee will absolutely gag you as is glugs out of an automated machine.

The breakfast was terrible. The biscuits and gravy were cold. The staff was putting the biscuits out cold. There was mildly warm lunch meat and eggs available. The microwave that was available was dirty. There was a cockroach on the wall in the hallway. There were burnt marks on an outlet in the room. The Wi-Fi did not work. We were never given a password for it. When you open the bathroom door, the door hits the toilet. The bathroom was very small. The beds overall were okay. The drain on the bathroom sink did not work. The drain would not release. There were lots of dead bugs in the windows.

We stay here as a halfway point when traveling. Our stay on 12/21 was great. Clean room, friendly front desk staff and quiet. Our night stay on 12/25-not so great.
Room smelled musty, probably why the bathroom fan was on.
A BUNcH of dead roaches by the window and chair, I guess the good thing is they were dead?
Also it would be gray if they fixed the road coming into the property. The pot holes get deeper and wider every year.

To start with, major potholes in the driveway that still haven't been fixed from when I stayed last year- so who knows how long that's been (and will be) going on for. Then, because I was considered local, I had to pay a $100 deposit *cash only* upon arrival. Fine, except I would have preferred to be notified of that when booking. (It does say in the online policy a deposit is possible, but the clerk specifically said cash only whereas the website says other methods could be used). Leaky sink faucet, flickering lights, possible mold on the side of the bed table, and elevator smells like smoke. We did get to enjoy the pool, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay. Not the worst for a short visit but was disappointed in this stay compared to my previous stay.

Upon entering the hotel, there was an odor, possibly the pool or something outside the front door.
When I walked in my room the bathroom fan was on, that was odd, the AC was blowing full blast and the room felt very damp. Black mold was in the shower and the floor needs a better cleaning. The towel rack was a metal one and it was rusted out on the bottom of the rack. Towels even felt damp. I will not stay at this location again. Needs to update and clean better.

The service was good at check-in. The person taking care of us was super friendly and helpful. I was not impressed by the condition in the room. Very rundown and the bed had a huge sunken in spot that made for an uncomfortable night of sleeping.

There was nothing unique about the property. Was there 1 1.2 years ago and it was very nice. Could tell when we entered it had a different vibe. The safe didn't work and they were actually removing them from the rooms, which is a bid disappointment. Next time we come to Pittsburg, we will find other lodging.

The check in was great and the gal that checked us in was very friendly. However, she failed to tell us that the pool was closed. I feel like this is something that should be posted online so we know when booking that the pool is not open. It was the one thing my younger son was looking forward to with our stay. It was so perfect!!! The people working are kind & sweet, also accomodating they will give you whatever that you may need. Pet friendly, yummy breakfast, & the best hotel to get a good night’s rest. Pretty views too.

I appreciated how they promptly gave me a new room when my key card failed to work for myself and the front desk. I believe it was the door mechanism that failed.
The carpeting needs replacement, stained and dirty looking, and the driveway coming in has numerous potholes to dodge.

Well, we only come to town a few times per year to visit family. For Christmas, we try and get a decent hotel since it is our home for the holidays. This time we were let down. We chose to try Comfort Inn this time.

Cons

1. There was no desk chair, which I use to get ready and is seen in all pics. I realize we have a pet room, but all rooms should be the same and cared for the same.
2. Some of the plugs did not work.
3. The sink drain had no stopper so if you dropped anything down it, it would be done forever.
4. The curtains looked as if they were about to fall down.
5. The bed was not very comfortable.
6. One day, when my husband was about to shower, the entire unit banged around and then turned off. We had to wait for the water to come back.
7. The room was semi-clean but not nearly as clean as it could be.
8. We only had two regular size towels. Now, I understand this is minor, but I have never stayed in a hotel that did not at least provide 3 to 4 for two adults staying in the room.

Pros -
The staff was nice and accommodating. They helped fix the water and were nice to work with us on pet fee after all this happened.

Other than that, we probably won't stay here again.
