Had a last minute stay and decided this was the most decent hotel around. The lady working at reception was very helpful in accommodating my rooms to be connecting bc I have 1 too many kids. I do love the curry with chicken dish at Fireside. Wine selection is also very nice, so I picked a sauv blanc, rose, and can sav! Thank u for making my family road trip fantastic.
Norma
Amazing stay!

Very clean, excellent staff and The Fireside restaurant is amazing.

Beautiful view and fireplace in room
Ashley A
Beautiful views and lovely property with clean rooms and a relaxing environment.
Michelle
Even lovelier views than expected, and kind and helpful staff all around. Loved how easy they made it to travel with pets; one-time fee and very welcoming to dogs with home-baked treats at the front desk. Nice to have coffee in the lobby in the AMs. Only minor inconvenience was that there’s one microwave on the 3rd floor, versus in-room, but appreciated having mini fridge and electric kettle in room. WiFi not extremely strong/fast but still sufficient for video calls. Had a really cozy stay here and look forward to coming back, enjoying more easy walks to the beach. Very clean room and comfy linens, and especially the staff made this historic building feel home-y.
Steve
This is our go to place for romantic getaways
Philip
What a great hotel!!
Margaret
Beautiful location on the Bay
Carol
Our room was beautiful - very spacious and comfortable. There was tea and cocoa in the room and some nice bath products - a tub soak and a shea butter lotion bar. My only issue was that breakfast was so-so. Two of us had the avocado toast with an egg; I've had better; and one had the shrimp omelet and she said the potatoes were mushy and didn't finish her breakfast.
Susan
Room was clean, views were outstanding and the restaurant had really good food and drinks!
Robert S
Beautiful property and well maintained.staff was very professional and caring. Highly recommend a visit.
John
Nice location, great view, friendly staff.
John
Great staff
Travis
Views were amazing and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Eric
The room we received was not as requested and we were placed in a room next to the banquet hall. It was very noisy and the staff was not helpful in resolving the issue. Otherwise, the resort was very nice and the restaurant very good.
Karen
The room was a corner room and had a great view of the water. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant food was very good.
Ann
Very quiet and great food.
Michael
We loved our stay here. We were in town for a wedding. We had beautiful views of the harbor from our room. We watched the boats, seals, and blue herons out the window as we relaxed. The restaurant down stairs had a great brunch. Staff were helpful and accommodating.
Tonya
Beautiful property! We had a room with a balcony viewing the water. It was a great place to enjoy the sunset after a busy day.
Kenneth
Very good property and well kept.
However…. I had a hideous check-in experience with a front desk associate. Room manager returned my call to reprimanded me for expressing my dismay. GM never bothered to call me back.
Things can go wrong when you travel, but I can’t accept people taking my money in a hospitality industry and be inhospitable.

Fantastic stay! Visiting Olympic NP. Rate was lower than hotels in Sequim and Port Angeles. But the overall quality of the hotel and property was well worth the extra drive time!!!! Will stay there again.
Dean
The room was super clean, friendly staff, the room had beautiful view, facilities are very good, I recommend this hotel to people who likes to the quite area and enjoy the nature.
Ann
Amazing visit! Clean, nice staff, great food, and lovely setting! Very special! Love it!
Jola
For the price that is being charged per night, the hotel could use more updates. The bed were really comfortable but the air in the room felt stale and humid. The TVs are old so they are not smart TVs where you can stream Netflix etc. The restaurant is ok, again, for the prices that are being charged, the chef could be a little more creative and more seafood options should be available. The food was good but not amazing. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Shannon
I just love this place. We come often and this year I chose to celebrate my birthday here. It was very special.
Brennan
Everything about this place is wonderful! Extremely cozy, clean and quiet! Great getaway

This place is disgusting. My room had several ants in it 😣
If you look at the video on the black & brown counter you can see several ants they’re hard to see at first because they blend in. I contacted Samantha, who claims to be the manager, & the best she could do was a $50 refund. I specifically booked a room with a tub because I wanted to take a bath. I didn’t even get to do that because of this ant infestation & the property doesn’t take it seriously. When I let Samantha know there were ants she was like “yeah, that happens during this season.” If it’s such a common occurrence it should be marketed as such. If I would have gotten a full refund I wouldn’t even be as mad. I didn’t pay for a room with ants in it & when I let Samantha know that she said that I already got the room at a discounted price. Sounds like just because something is at a discount means it doesn’t meet quality standards.

Samantha, front desk was great!

Gorgeous property! The room was beautiful and the tub was amazing to soak in, especially with the provided bath salts and moisture bar. The staff was so nice and attentive. It was exactly the quiet and romantic weekend my husband and I wanted.

The hotel was a lovely experience and I would go back. The room very clean and spacious. We had a corner room and a different view from each window. All views were nice. The staff was very nice.

We had a lovely stay at the Resort at Port Ludlow. The staff was very friendly, and we loved our meal at the on-site restaurant.
Vernon Lee
So beautiful setting. Upon entering the room it had a very strong musky mildew smell. I notice work had been done on patching sheet rock in several places. Looks like they did not hire a pro to do the work. No microwave in the Unit?? No other food that the restaurant.
Raymond
Staff was nice, the view was amazing, the room was absolutely gorgeous, and the drive there was soothing. Definitely recommended and going back sometime in the future.
Matt
We loved our time here. The room was lovely with the cozy fireplace. The coffee (important), hot tub, robes, towels and bath salts were wonderful. We would love to come back one day and would highly recommend. Thank you.
Brennan
This is my new favorite spot!! We'll be back very soon for a perfect inclusive getaway. Having the restaurant downstairs make it easy to relax and enjoy the property and surrounding area
Donna
Very quiet. Clean. Excellent restaurant.
Shauna
This might be my favorite place I’ve stayed in a really long time. We booked a room without a view since it was only for one night, but I’m pretty sure there isn’t a bad view in the building. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the service was great. The window opening up the jacuzzi tub to the bedroom was my favorite thing. I highly recommend this stay. I know I will be back.
Lea
absolutely loved the property...great amenities and delicious food in the fireside restaurant. beautiful grounds to take a beach walk.
Sara
Nice room with fireplace and big bathtub. Great views from the restaurant and overall lovely place to get away and relax on the water.
Jeffrey
Great place and excellent restaurant
Alice
I had a room with a lovely view of a little harbor. I specifically got a room with a balcony (neither the balcony door nor the window would open). The walls are paper thin, very noisy, including hearing loud jazz music coming from the lobby the entire night. Fortunately, I brought headphones and fell asleep after I put them on.
Susan
The room was clean and had a great view from balcony
Louise
Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Will definitely be back.
The only complaint was one day whoever cleaned the room didn’t restock it with some of the bathroom linens, bath salts for jetted tubs, and coffee/tea, and did not change out the dirty coffee cups/wine glasses. But the front desk immediately rectified the problem with sincere apologies. She said “all of that is supposed to be done”
We would definitely stay here again!

Great room

The convenience of everything was lovely... presentation was great-
Deborah
Resort fee… for what? Room is already pricey.
katharine
The rooms are advertised as having \"private hot tubs.\" They are oversized jetted bath tubs, not the same thing. There's no privacy door for the toilet. To the hotel: Please provide a full extra roll of toilet paper if your policy is to leave partially used rolls on the toilet paper holder. Room was cold. Where's the thermostat?
jo
It was all a delight. The room overlooked the Harbor, Fireplace and 2 not 1 chair to sit back and enjoy. A soaking tub with a view and custom bath salts added to the delight. They did not miss a beat with fresh cream in the fridge for the coffee. The dinner menu offered many choices in a relaxed atmosphere. From check in to the restaurant the staff was attentive and professional.

Awesome

I tried chatting with Expedia on day of check in. Very unsatisfied with The Resort at Port Ludlow and hence thereafter - lack of follow up with the live chat with Expedia. I traveled the day of check in 4 hours from Portland into the Puget Sound by car and was very tired at arrival. This place is off the beaten path and had advertised an in resort restaurant and bar. When I was checking in they said the restaurant had closed for some reason at 2 pm. The closest towns with restaurants were 30 minutes north and 30 minutes south. I have dietary restrictions and needs, so this was not good news nor acceptable. After I returned from another hour driving excursion I asked about a gym at the resort and they informed me there wasn't one. 2 strikes. Even with the Expedia discount this place was seriously flawed. I remain truly unhappy with the experience and want to know what Expedia can do for a refund. Please contact me at 310-308-5733 or email [email protected]. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter. best, Sam

Beautifully located with walking paths right on the grounds. Our room and the resort itself was clean. Having an end suite, we had a 180 degree view of Port Ludlow. Their in-house restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and fine dining. It was a new menu and delicious. The staff was pleasant and their night front desk man responded to a needed request straight away. Delightful stay.

I didn’t have breakfast so can’t rate. Had the happy hour prixe fixe deal which was reasonably price but frankly not that fantastic but they were short staffed due to a very bad traffic accident on the Hood Canal and the pizza I had tasted like one of the frozen types wi5 way too much sauce and gobs of cheese. The soup - tomato - was fine. And the dessert a chocolate fudge type cake was fine. The price was ok. BUT I loved my room. I wouldn’t come here for the food but the room was divine. King bed, huge room, soaker tub with a view of the harbour and a gas fireplace. MY MAJOR complaint was that the signage to the hotel was almost non existent coming from Port Townsend. There is a crucial junction of 101 South just as you head away from the turnoff to P Townsend and I got totally confused and continued south on 101. I saw the very obvious signs for the routes east, the direction I KNEW I should be heading but THOSE signs mentioned Kingston and FERRIES to Seattle amd Bremerton. But because P Ludlow is a tiny place no mention of it. SO TAKE that exit for ferries you drive through clearcuts for what seems like MILES with nothing but constant traffic and when I almost gave up I saw a tiny sign saying Port Ludlow (but before that the only other sign I saw was for Port Gamble which threw me off). Which was good but I was travelling alone and so locating tiny signs on a road with fast traffic is very hard at my age- 74! Next thing I know I am roaring across the Hood Canal!

The room was great; the staff, indifferent. Seldom been in a hotel where the employees engaged less.

Wonderful

Hidden gem on the peninsula. Perfect getaway! Get a room with a view, curl up by the fire and relax.

Excellent Stay! Would book again!

This was our 2nd time staying and we were a little distracted this time. We were woken up in the morning to doors slamming shut - not sure if it was staff or other guests. Our stay included a Monday so we also were woken up by the garbage truck making its rounds around the neighbors next door to the resort. Our checkout was done by a staff member who couldn’t even be bothered to make eye contact.

The bed, linens, and towels were wonderful! We also had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant! I would highly recommend!

Has a nice view of the water. Windows could use light blocking drapes. Blade blinds still let light in. My room faced (north) a community of home that give off light at night. The south side of hotel would be better if you're light sensitive at night.
James
Excellent room, restaurant , views, neighborhood was scenic and very walkable.

Beautiful weekend getaway!

We loved the location. It is situated next to a beautiful marina. The hotel is charming, but due for some updates.
We found it to be clean and the staff friendly. We used it as a base camp for Olympic National Park and found it to be pretty accessible (under an hour from the park).

Quiet. Beautiful weather and views. Not alot to do of you dont have a boat.
Dana
Beautiful property, but a little worn . No a/c and our room was uncomfortably hot. It could have been cleaner. Very quiet and a very comfortable bed.

This is the perfect location for a romantic getaway! We were concerned about the room being too warm after seeing reviews that mentioned no A/C but with a ceiling fan and a stand fan our room was perfectly comfortable even with temps in the 80s outside. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant at all so can't provide any feedback there. The resort was central to all of the other exploring we did in the area (Port Gamble, Port Townsend, etc.) so we really loved that.

Located by charming marina. Rooms relaxing, quiet comfortable

Cozy and romantic, a nice relaxing getaway

The big bathtub is stained. The front desk wasn’t welcoming. Don’t visit here. The wedding played music past 10.

We had fantastic service inside the hotel and at the delicious restaurant. The setting is gorgeous with views of the bay on all sides. The room was nicely sized and beds were comfortable. It’s a a great, central location to be able to attend various locations all over the Olympic Peninaula!
john
Quaint place on the bay, perfect for a romantic get away.

The Port Ludlow Inn is getting a little long in the tooth....The rooms do not have air conditioning and the toilet in our room did not drain.....they also do not have a courtesy bar in the room and the resort bar closes early during the week at 9pm. Next time we'll see if we can find a vrbo....
Arthur
Great location on water. Spacious room.
Maureen
The staff was great!!!

Nice stay
Had a good stay but the property needs some updating for sure (rugs, bathroom). The surrounding area is very tranquil and pretty. Restaurant was ok, not great.
Libbie
Beautiful property. Cozy historic hotel without being old and creepy ;-) Very dog friendly and walkable area, right next to the marina. Very cool morning ( and sometimes afternoon !) fog over the water. Would love to stay here again some day if in the area.
Randy
Rooms were very nice and the location is excellent.

This is a beautiful property right on the water. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the beach after dinner and it was very nice. We saw a lot of different shells. The room was great and had a resort fill to it.
Laura
Outdated property. No AC, old dusty fan so we had to keep the windows open and we were right above the office so people were smoking, yelling and walking barking dogs all night. The woman at the front desk was angry that we had a reservation for some reason and wasn’t sure they had clean rooms- not a great welcome. Hair in the shower.

Amazing hidden gem.
Amazing hidden gem. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Things we hope improve before then:
- Better/stronger fans or AC in rooms.
- Ensure housekeeping closes windows/blinds for west-facing rooms prior to check-in.
- True blackout curtains or shutters.
- Soft-close shower doors and toilet seat.
- More amenities or things to do. Partner with the Spa in-town. Offer guided tours. Private Dinner on the beach. Etc.
- More food options. The restaurant is really the only choice and the snack options in the lobby are lacking.
- More attentive service in the restaurant. We had to flag servers down and the bartender ended up stepping up when he noticed we had been seated but didn’t get water or service.
Things we loved:
- The views and property. Absolutely beautiful.
- Easy access to beach and water. Really fun looking for critters at low tide.
- Hotel and restaurant staff were all great.
- Food in the restaurant was all very good.
- Hotel is quiet and well insulated from other rooms.
