Hotel Agape in Milan was a great choice for our stay. It’s located in a pleasant and convenient area, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel was comfortable and well organized, and having a paid garage available was a very practical bonus.

The staff were very nice, professional, and respectful. After a long trip, they made the entire process smooth and stress-free for us, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a reliable and welcoming place to stay.

From the moment I arrived, I knew I’d made the right choice. This quaint, boutique hotel strikes the perfect balance between charm and practical comfort.

Location & Transportation:
The hotel is wonderfully situated, just steps from public transit (metro/train/bus), making it super easy to get around. Whether you’re headed to the city sights or commuting farther out, everything feels accessible.

Cleanliness & Comfort:
The room was spotless — floors, linens, bathroom, everything was well maintained. The décor has character, without sacrificing comfort. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities worked as expected (air conditioning, hot water, etc.). It felt like a place where someone cares.

Staff / Service:
The staff were exceptional. From front-desk greetings to recommendations for dinner, they were warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to accommodate small requests and made everything easy. It felt like staying at a place run by people who want you to feel welcome, not just another guest.

Overall Impression & Return Factor:
I left with absolutely no hesitation: I would stay here again. The mix of charming ambiance, cleanliness, convenience of location, and friendly service makes this hotel a real gem. If you’re looking for something cozy, reliable, and with character — this is it.

Great staff, good hotel to stay

Staff are excellent. Very friendly and doing everything asked of them to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast is good and in addition to this, snacks and drinks are always left out at the reception throughout the day. Housekeeping is great too and this was done daily. The location of the hotel hasn’t done any justice to its standard of service. Haven said that, the location is ok and there is a metro just round the corner with direct service to the city centre etc.

Unfortunately disappointing stay. We travelled with two small kids. On the arrival day at about 8pm we noticed the shower doesn't work. We went to the reception, one person came with us to the room and didn't get to work it either so he asked the manager to come. He apparently turned on the wayer supply and promised to fix off falling nob the next day (didn't happen).

The next day we came back from the trip and we realised that the door locks in our floor were changed to different system. So our key card was useless and we had to go to the reception to ask a contactless card. They couldn't get the coding machine work so lady came to us to open the doors and asked my husband to get new card from reception. Coding machine still didn't work so he came back empty handed.

They were supposed to call that night to let us know when new card is ready but they never did. How come they change locks while a customer is staying and don't mention about it or even prepare new key cards. Total lack of respect for the customer there.

All in all, there was too much jumping around to reception for things that should just work. Not very funny after a long day in the city with small kids.

On the check out I told all of that to the clerk at the reception and asked for discount but she only said \"I don't understand\". In 4 star hotel, really?

We had the most pleasant stay here at Hotel Agape. As people we were here to visit the main attractions being 2 minute walk from the metro was amazing. We could come home in between to shower and go about our day easily. Breakfast was outstanding and was extremely pleased with getting unlimited fresh cappuccinos in the morning from friendly staff. The bedrooms were big! Shower was amazing and they provide you with shower gel and shampoo. The only downside of this stay was that the walls are thin and we can hear whoever is in the room next to us easily.. luckily no one was loud at an ungodly hour, We were throughly impressed by the accommodation here and them holding our bags safely free of charge for us as we enjoyed our last morning in Milan and seeing the Last Supper. Thank you kind stuff at Hotel Agape from people who live all the way in California. In the future we will be sure to come back. :)

Next is don’t bring food to the room or ants will invade. Yup ants. Good thing I stayed for 1 night only. How is this a 4 star hotel? A 3 at best.

Perfectly fine. Near to metro. Hotel parking ok if you are careful. Big room although shower in the bath was a little tight. No seal under the bath panel so water went straight to the floor.
Good choice of restaurants nearby although its not a big touristy area.
We would go back again.

Nice place to stay. Both Francesca and Sarah at the front desk are amazing. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with a non Italian speaker. If there is something you need all you have to do is ask at Agape Hotel. We always stay here when we need a hotel in this area which is once a year. This is one hotel where the breakfast is actually worth what you pay.

Being alone, the small size of the room (No. 415) was not a significant issue but it would have been for a couple, notwithstanding the excellent king-size bed. The bathroom was correspondingly small but satisfactory apart from the dimensions of the shower cubicle (77cm x 50cm) which produced a very restricted space in which to shower and I am neither tall nor overweight and therefore I am sure that a bigger man would have found it really difficult. The cleanliness of the bathroom was of the g=highest standard. All that said, for me, the location of the hotel, about 150 metres from Crescenzago Station on Metro Line 2 (Green) is simply excellent and the frequency of the trains is very high. Regarding other facilities in the hotel, I cannot comment as I always had breakfast at the nearby bar but the hotel Dining Room looked an extremely place in which to eat. Also I did not use the mini-bar but it appeared to be very well stocked. I should also add that the room that I purchased was probably its least expensive and no doubt it has other larger, better appointed rooms and there appeared to be plenty of guests.

Buyer beware (they are a scam)

Well, I booked this reservation 3 months in advance with a rate of $97.50 night for my family of four. Without warning, the hotel agape attempted to collect a deposit 5 days before our arrival and when it was rejected for fraud protection, they canceled the reservation. I contacted Hotels.com about the issue and when they re-booked the room, they forgot to add my kids. When we checked in, there was no problem (after all it was a quadruple room) but the next day they told me they were charging $20 extra per day per child and would not honor the previous rate. I contacted Hotels.com to correct the issue and Hotel Agape again refused to honor the rate. Then upon checkout, we found they charged us for breakfast everyday even though we only ate there one time. Again, no correction for that charge. What was supposed to be around $300 stay turned into $481. Maybe if it was top of the line I would accept it, but the room was small, the air conditioning was average and for 2 days the TV received zero channels. What a rip off. Never ever again

Great for just a single night/layover

Hotel was very close to the metro line, and easy to locate due to the large sign directing you to the hotel. The hotel overall was clean, but small. Four single beds were shoved into a room clearly only meant for 2 people. The bathroom was large but the layout was poor and the placement of the shower head made the large tub feel small. Hotel allowed us to check in a little early which was great. Internet was fast, always a plus.

J’ai passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cet hôtel.
L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel dès mon arrivée, le personnel toujours souriant et disponible.
La chambre était impeccable, confortable et très bien équipée.
Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux, avec des produits frais de qualité.
L’emplacement est idéal, proche du métro.

What a shame, the problems started the minute we entered the hotel! They gave us a very small room for 3 adults on the ground floor, it is not possible to open the window because it faces the floor. The lady at the reception said \"we will change your room tomorrow\" and we believed it, but when we went to the reception again tomorrow, she said unfortunately there is no room available. The mirror in the room is broken, there are glass particles, we said at the reception. She told the lady that the customer before you broke it and did not replace it. Most importantly, we said that the toilet flush was broken, it was leaking water and we couldn't sleep because of its noise, but unfortunately they did not fix it or even cared. We never recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely not stay again.

Ideal für einen City-Trip nach Mailand. Die Metrostation ist innerhalb von 3 Minuten per Fuß zu erreichen, von da aus fährt man ca 20 Minuten bis zum Dom.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und vollkommen ausreichend eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich leider kaum regulieren (es gab nur „Aus“ oder „Vollgas“.
Das Frühstück ist mehr als ausreichend.

Siamo rimasti molto delusi dall'accoglienza ricevuta. Io rispetto ai miei amici sono entrato per primo e ho salutato dicendo BUONASERA senza ricevere risposta e allora l'ho ripetuto una seconda volta. La receptionist (Daiana mi pare si chiamasse), oltre a ignorare totalmente il mio saluto in quanto impegnata in una chiamata del tutto personale al cellulare che puntualmente al nostro arrivo ha dovuto chiudere, l'abbiamo vista addirittura molto seccata tanto che ci ha chiesto i documenti molto freddamente e ce li ha restituiti sbattendoli con una certa violenza sul banco della reception. Ora non so se il motivo fosse che l'abbiamo disturbata nella sua chiamata al nostro arrivo ma non mi sembra un atteggiamento professionale trattare così noi e i nostri documenti oltretutto per suoi problemi personali. Né un sorriso né una gentilezza. Io facendo il suo stesso lavoro mi è impensabile avere questo tipo di atteggiamento. Il suo collega che l'ha sostituita invece ha sempre risposto al saluto quando entravamo e uscivamo.
Per quanto riguarda la stanza invece molto pulita e spaziosa, siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

The breakfast consists of 1/2 cookies and cakes and overall a bad selection of bread, toppings and yoghurts. The rooms where worn out and the AC didn't work. The staff was arrogant, the only good thing I can say about the hotel is the cleaning of rooms.

Hôtel bien situé ne réservez pas sur hôtel.com

Hôtel situé dans un quartier plutôt moyen mais au final nous ne nous sommes pas sentis en insécurité. Station de métro a 2 min qui dessert très bien le centre de Milan. La chambre était propre ainsi que la salle de bain mais nous avions une remontée d’odeur dans la salle de bain plutôt désagréable. Le petit déjeuner était bien mais ça manquait de réachalandages pour les viennoiseries, les jus de fruits sont trop acides et il n’y a pas assez de table pour accueillir tout le monde. Obligé d’attendre que de la place se libère. La déco est belle.

Problème rencontré, alors que nous avions réservé et payé notre chambre via Hôtel.com début juin, Agape hôtel sous une autre appellation a de nouveau prélevé le montant des 2 nuits via l’emprunte de notre CB et sans notre accord!
Après un échange par mail ils se sont excusés de leur erreur et ont effectué le remboursement. L’erreur est humaine mais je ne recommande absolument pas le site Hôtel.com. Les ayant également contactés le même jour, je leur ai prouvé en faisant des recherches internet qu’il s’agissait bien du même hôtel, je leur ai communiqué les preuve du double paiement. Cela fait plus de 10 jours et à ce jour aucune action, recherche et réponse de leur part malgré mes relances si l’hôtel n’avait pas reconnu son erreur et effectué le remboursement, j’aurai un trou de 300€ sur mon compte en banque. Donc si vous devez aller dans cet hôtel, ne faites pas de réservation via Hôtel.com et ne payez pas à l’avance mais sur place.
