Great place for a romantic getaway.

Hotel was a great place to getaway close to many castles to visit and countryside to take it. The room was set up beautifully and came stocked with snacks and drinks. The hotel restaurant was great we ate there 2 of our 4 nights. The Menu is very accommodating and the staff very friendly and helpful (they have English menus as an option).

Nice Hotel but reception needs courtesy improvemen

I am a regular guest of this hotel since 2013 and I unfortunately always encountered problems with my bookings when I booked this Hotel through Hotels.com.
During my last visit I had chosen dog friendly but the Hotel was not informed about it, so we had to accept a more expensive room with a huge cleaning fee in order to have a room at last while waiting at the reception for more almost one hours until matters were solved. The restaurant and breakfast quality and services are unchanged, great ! The location is great and tranquil while just a few kilometers from the free way exit in a very small village. Facilities as pool and sauna are top and 4 Plus level. The only permanent service deficiency lies with the reception and their staff. For the last 3 visits I am sorry to write this here but they lack the right courtesy on phone and in person and they lack flexibility in all aspects of replanning or scheduling. I was told to book with them directly instead of going through any platform to avoid future problems which I will do to find out if it works smoother next time.

One night stay but would come back for more

We stayed one night while on a car trip with a two year old. The hotel's pool and spa were ideal to unwind after arriving and to get the little one tired for sleeping at night and before leaving again in the car. One parent tried out the sauna - everything was clean and well kept. The hotel offered complementary hot and cold drinks in the spa area.

We had a free night to spend, so we booked the junior suit. The room was spacious, very clean and furnished with high quality massive wood furniture. The bathroom was also clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and big enough to share with a young child.

The food and service at the restaurant were very good. The pricing was fair, considering the quality of the food and that meals also included a serving from the salad buffet. Our child even received a small toy as a present from the restaurant - which was very much appreciated. Overall we felt very much welcome by the restaurant's staff. The breakfast buffet was included in our booking and it was also very good.

As we checked in with a two year old, it would have been nice if the staff had offered us a small child bed - as staff in other hotel often do. However, I am sure we would have received a child bed if we had asked for one.

Overall we really enjoyed our one night stay. We would definitely come back for a longer stay to relay at the hotel and explore the surroundings.

This is a nice hotel but it is also considered a romantic get away for a couple and they charge you an extra $20.00 when there are 2 of you in the room. Didn't make any sense to me. Watch your final price.

Decor was very modern and chique. Ambiance was amazing. Dinkelsbuhl was 10km away. I booked the hotel for the pool and it turned out that it had spa facilities that were free to use. We loved that. It was a very Zen experience. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. Breakfast had big variaty. The room was spacious and vety comfortable. If in Bawaria, we are definitely staying here again.
One recommendation to the hotel, please provide the spa instructions in the room in English as well, we had to google translate.

We had a wonderful stay here. After staying in cities most of our trip it was a great break to stay here with the balcony door open smelling fresh air and waking up to the birds chirping. Its also located very close to Dinkelsbuhl which is a beautiful historic town.

Just one night while visiting Rothenburg. The staff was great, beautifully decorated hotel that set you into the local culture and a large, well maintained bedroom. We did not use other areas of the hotel but it is clearly worth spending more days to enjoy it.

Found this outstanding resort after cutting short a stay in Bad Reichenhall because of a bad experience there.
Hotel Meiser is outstanding in all regards and contrary to another reviewer's comment about the 'neighborhood', yes it is rural but that is a plus in my book. Wide open fields of growing grain, splendid views.
More than anything was the 'gemutlichkeit' of the staff. The owner Herr Meiser is always there it seems and not uncommonly will greet you at dinner, sit down and verify that all is well.
I cannot but recommend this hotel highly. the spa and pool areas are outstanding. Have a chocolate massage if you have the opportunity.

Hotel and pool facilities were very nice. The pool was the most beautiful and unique with the indoor/outdoor and automatic underwater door. Our daughter loved it. The only negatives were no airconditioning in mid July (temps were humid and in the high 80's) and smoking and noise can affect you if your room is above the lounge or the restaurant terrace. The staff were very accomodating in moving us when we requested it. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was wonderful.

Hotel is located in the middle of no where. Nice, but a little overpriced unless you intend to take advantage of the spa facilities while you are there. Close to Dinkelsbruhe and Rothenburg which are both great spots on the Romantic Road. A little trouble with the internet the first day but they were able to fix that..

I stayed one night at Hotel Meiser in May. My room was very big and comfortable with a large shared balcony with neighbouring rooms. A small remark is that in the morning I was waking up way too early as the closed curtains of the room let fair amount of sunlight in. Free wifi, good breakfast. Hotel has a gym room with very modern cardio equipment and some devices for strenght training. Nice sauna area and a decent size pool.

This is a very nice hotel, perfect for a long weekend away with your significant other. Very cozy and comfortable rooms with nice balconies. Surrounding area was very quiet but close to castles and golf. Incredible selection of massages offered by the hotel at reasonable prices for Germany. Breakfast was included and very good, large selection of meats and grains. The hotel is half new (we stayed in the new section) and in very good condition. I will stay at this hotel for all y future regional trips.

this is a real SPA hotel with all the luxury you can expect from room to equipment. the restaurant is also very good, maybe one notch lower than the rest but still very good. perfect steam bath and sauna area, very clean and stylish. swimming pool inside and outside, lots of relaxing places. Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen (Frühstück & Abendessen) super gut. Wellnessbereich wirklich schön, aber leider sehr beengt angeordnet. Massagen sind ein Traum. Wellness war durch Gäste vom Schwesternhotel und Tageswellness Freitag und Samstag absolut überfüllt. Kein Platz, absolute Lautstärke und Unruhe! 0 Entspannung! Im Saunabereich gibt es keinen eigenen Pool, also jedesmal wieder Badekleidung an, um schwimmen zu gehen. Whirlpool gibt es leider gar keinen. Kartenzahlung ist im Spa-Bistro auch nicht möglich, musste in Bademantel hoch ins Restaurant, um zu bezahlen.
Preis-Leistung nicht ganz stimmig.

Alles in allem ein super Kurzurlaub - Personal vor allem im Restaurant super aufmerksam und sehr präsent. Auch an der Rezeption usw.
Man kann vieles online selbst buchen - Riesen Fan von. Zimmer groß, toller Balkon, sauber !
Wellnessbereich sehr schön, modern, Saunabereich etwas beengt.

Einziges Manko - das Bett war für mich persönlich nicht gut - sehr schlecht geschlafen und leider die Zimmer sehr hellhörig - trampeln über mir die ganze Nacht.

Wir waren 3 Nächte und somit 2 volle Tage im Meiser Hotel in Fichtenau und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten waren 100% freundlich und ambitioniert. Das Zimmer und das ganze Hotel war sehr gemütlich und mit liebevollen Akzenten eingerichtet. Es gab auf dem Zimmer alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Dieses war sehr geräumig und groß.
Das Buffett beim Frühstück und Abendessen ließ keine Wünsche offen. Abends konnte ich mich problemlos eiweißreich und kohlenhydratfrei satt essen. Da ich das gerne wollte.

Wir haben unser Zimmer in dieser Zeit nicht reinigen lassen und dadurch wurden 3 Bäume gepflanzt, das finden wir genial.

Die 4 Wasserspender mit verschiedenen Früchten, die Tee-Station, Äpfel und Knabberzeug fanden wir genial. Dort und in der Sauna war es auch stets sauber und es wurde auf Ordnung der Kissen z.B. geschaut. Auch Sauna-Aufgüsse wurden angekündigt. Leider waren diese nicht abends, gegen 18:30 Uhr, wenn wir für Sauna Zeit hatten. Insgesamt fanden wir dieses Hotel sehr gut gelungen und werden sicher mal wieder kommen. Wenn die Kinder (jetzt 8 &10) nicht mehr mit kommen. Für diese gab es außer Pool nichts kindgerechtes. Da wäre ein Spielplatz oder ein Raum mit Spielmöglichkeiten natürlich top gewesen!

Verbesserungen von uns:
Beim Frühstück hätten wir uns gerne selbst einen Platz gesucht, uns wurde immer einer zugewiesen.

Die Saftpresse sollte besser beschriftet werden, damit nicht die Schale mit hineingeworfen wird. Ein zusätzliches kleine

Schönes Hotel in der Nähe von Dinkelsbühl. Nettes Personal und präsente Gastgeber. Für einen reinen Wellness-Aufenthalt ist der Spa jedoch zu klein und auch die Liegemögkichkeiten waren etwas zu wenig. Gutes Essen und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Super Spa-Bereich, leckeres Essen, Erholung pur

Zugegeben, die Preise sind gesalzen ABER man bekommt auch einiges geboten. Super Saunabereich (mit 2 Saunen, 2 Infraroträumen und einem Dampfbad), ein schöner, großer Pool und zahlreiche Rückzugsmöglichkeiten laden hier zum entspannen ein.
Das eigentliche Highlight ist allerdings die Küche. Das Frühstück allein is schon sehr gut. Abends hatte ich einen der besten Zwiebelrostbraten in meinem Leben (und das obwohl ich schon ü40 bin).
Das Personal ist sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Es bleiben quasi keine Wünsche offen.
Jetzt kommt das Jammern auf hohem Niveau:
Die Duschkabine war nicht ganz dicht, der Teppich im Zimmer hat etwas abgewohnt gewirkt und insgesamt war das Zimmer etwas überheizt. => Teppich is halt Teppich. Dafür gibts an der Rezeption tolle Wellnessschlappen.
=> Heizung aus und Fenster auf hat auch das Problem mit den Hitzewallungen behoben :-)
Meiser SPA Resort? => immer wieder gern, wenn ich es mir zusammengespart habe.

Eigentlich ein super Hotel, die Superior Zimmer sind top, nichts zu bemängeln. Allerdings sind die einfacheren Zimmer im Erdgeschoss eine Zumutung im Sommer. Es scheint ein Heizrohr für den Pool oder ähnliches unter/am Haus zu verlaufen. Der komplette trackt war im Sommer ohne Klimatisierung kaum bewohnbar und kühlte auch bei offenem Fenster nicht merkbar ab. Abgesehen davon liegen die vorderen Zimmer an der Einfahrt und es gibt draußen relativ viele Insekten, weshalb man das Fenster schlecht durchgehend offen stehen lassen kann abends. Von den EG-Zimmern kann ich daher leider nur abraten. Lieber ein paar Euro mehr in ein Superior-Zimmer stecken. Alles andere kann ich jedoch bedingungslos empfehlen! Auch Restaurant und Pool sind super. Der Parkplatz ist groß und bietet reichlich Platz.

Irre warm, weil wohl an der Poolheizung, schlafen war kaum möglich
Viel zu laut - direkt neben dem Eingang, obwohl ich schon im Vorfeld geschrieben hatte, dass es quasi ruhig sein sollte
Voller Ungeziefer - Spinnen, eine davon riesig, es kann mal eine Spinne im Zimmer sein, aber das war widerlich, an den Decken waren Spinnenweben und Spinnen .
Morgens lief ein Silberfisch über den Schreibtisch!

Ich hatte dies beim CheckOut alles reklamiert, mir wurde der volle Preis 159 EUR/ Nacht abgebucht.
Das war einfach nur eine Frechheit!

Heerlijk hotel dat er op gericht is om te relaxen, maar zakelijk is het ook goed vertoeven. Voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel.
Ik had een ruime nette kamer voorzien van een balkon. Het bed was uitstekend en een voldoende ruime badkamer. Het diner is prijzig maar wel goed. In de ochtend kan je vanaf 6.30 al ontbijten, dat verder goed was. Om te relaxen is er een zwembad binnen- en buitenbad en 2 verschillende sauna's.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit prima Wellnessbereich. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Die beiden Köche am Frühstücks-Buffet hatten es etwas schwer auf den vorhandenen Kochplatten gleichzeitig Omelette, Spiegel- und Rührei zu bereiten. Das könnte man sicherlich geschickter lösen und die Schlange damit verkleinern.
Das Abendessen war sehr gut aber auch keine Offenbarung. Der Preis ist hier definitiv zu hoch.

En dejlig oplevelse med lidt \"surt\"

Vi havde en dejlig dag og aften på hotellet, under et lille stop på vores rejse.
Hotellet er rigtig flot og pool området er virkeligt lækkert. Vi spiste også i restauranten og det var også rigtig fint.

Inden vi bookede, havde vi sikret os at vi måtte havde vores hund med, og på siden her står der at det vil koste 15 EUR pr. nat. Desværre viste det sig at det er nogle specielle værelser hvor hunde er tilladt, hvilket betød at vi i stedet skulle betalt for en ekstra rengøring, og derfor kom til at betale 75 EUR for en enkelt nat med vores hund. Det bør gøres tydeligt hvordan man skal informerer om hund, så andre kan slippe for denne lidt irriterende overraskelse.

Ud over dette, havde vi en dejlig oplevelse.

Peccato per la camera gelida

Hotel bello ma purtroppo molto rumoroso e la camera aveva le finestre difettose pertanto entrava molto freddo. Me ne sono accorta di notte e quindi l'ho potuto riferire solo il mattino seguente ma comunque in hotel di questa levatura e costo non deve succedere. Cena ottima. Colazione discreta

Die Rezeption weit entfernt von Herzlichkeit, aber funktioniert. Ich hatte nicht den Eindruck, daß man sich bei der Frage nach einem Business PC oder gar Drucker überhaupt auch nur einen Gedanken macht, ob das sinnvoll oder Standard sein könnte. Stattdessen verwies man auf das 12 km entfernte Businesshotel der Familie.
Das hilft mir aber gar nichts wenn ich nichts abrufen oder ausdrucken kann. Essen ist sehr gut, aber daß man dem Gast entgegenkommen, ist nicht vorgesehen.

Leider waren wir mit diesem Hotel sehr unzufrieden. Service im Restaurant lässt stark zu wünschen übrig. Das Zimmer war sehr laut (man kann die Autobahn hören und auch die anliegenden Zimmernachbarn) und die Verdunkelungsvorhänge haben das Zimmer (Junior Suite) nicht abgedunkelt. Die Scheinwerfer der auf der anliegenden Straße vorbeifahrenden Autos leuchteten jedes Mal in unser Zimmer.

Die Rezeption ist telefonisch sehr schlecht erreichbar und mit schlecht geschultem Personal besetzt.

Nicht den Erwartungen entsprochen

Check-in um kurz vor 22.00, war sehr OK. A
uf dem ZImmer festgestellt, dass keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist (Hochsommer, sehr warm im Zimmer) und Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt.
Erwarte bei einem ZImmerpreis (mit Fruehstueck) von fast EUR 140 ein Mindestmass an Komfort, Klimaanlage gehoert dazu.

Ottimo Hotel con tutti i confort

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, camere amore e pulitissime. Il ristorante è eccezionale e pure la colazione, per poi non parlare della SPA. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!! Ragazzi ne vale proprio la pena!!!!!

Zwei erholsame Tage mit kleinen Fehlern

Dieses mal waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden.
Frühstück gab es nur bis 10 Uhr,
Meine Portion beim Abendessen für ein Risotto war sehr klein, bei ca € 24,00
Bei zwei Anwendungen in Folge( 14 Uhr und 15 Uhr)

Kortstondig verblijf in dit Hotel direct naast de A7. Hotel slaat rust uit. Grote kamers met echt perfekte bedden!!
Restaurant is ook zeker de moeite waard.
Een aanraden op doorreis of zomaar twee nachtjes weg

Ein Hotel der Spitzenklasse

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr angenehm. Wir würden 2-3 Punkte trotzdem gerne erwähnen.
Das Personal sollte den Lift nicht benutzen zu den Hauptzeiten (8-10 / 17-19 Uhr). Im speziellen Mitarbeiter welche nur zu Fuss unterwegs sind.
Die Rezeption ist wirklich zu langsam am Abreisetag. Eine 3. Station würde hier helfen, da es individuell zu lange dauert bis man dran kommt.
Das Wasser im Pool wäre bei 30 Grad wirklich absolute Spitze. Jetzt ist es echt zu kalt um da Wellnesshotel zu geniessen.
Das Hotel, der Service im Restaurant und auch die Präsenz der Besitzer Familie ist einfach vorbildlich. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen..!!
