I realize this hotel was in a very small cattle town but, our room had a terrible smell in it. My husband had to close the drains in the bathroom but it didn’t seem to really help. The bed was not comfortable and seemed to be broken down on one side. I would not stay here again.
Marilyn
Only problem was breakfast. Nit much of a variety like other cobblestone motels. The only protein was sausage they looked like dog kibble bits!! No hard boiled eggs , just lots of carbohydrates, waffle, muffins bisques etc! Ver disappointed . They did have fake scrambled eggs and apples and oranges. Disappointed
Megan
Great hotel. Clean and comfy!
Lorraine
The hotel itself is very clean. Only get housekeeping every three days so no housekeeping was done. The complimentary breakfast was not good. And very scant offerings in choices.
I stay there because the place is clean and atmosphere is pleasant and location is good.
But food could really be improved.

When we visit my family we always stay at this hotel. Great breakfast. The sign says best coffee in town and it always is. My kids love the pool too always clean and ready

Only one staff for entire building and one woman staffer at night is concerning. Several guests that were from a company were in a pickup by the sliding door barbecuing food and drinking. They weren’t loud but who barbecues where guests need to temporarily park to check in for their room. Totally unacceptable. Tv didn’t work and the 3rd night we had to complain about upstairs noise. Super disappointed!!! We came to visit family in Torrington and this experience wasn’t pleasant
ron
Clean, comfortable and safe
Diana
This was the second time we have used this hotel And both time everyone and everything was amazing service and a pleasant experience.
With the exception of breakfast hot/ warm items were cool . If need to stay in the area again would book without hesitance. Nice accommodations in a small town

I always enjoy my stay at the cobblestone. I especially like the staff, they are always nice and helpful with all I need. The breakfast is just what I need to start my day. The rooms are just like staying in an apartment and very clean.
Lisa
Great place to stay. We found out even the fire alarm works well.
Tania
Easy checking, clean rooms, comfy beds. We love staying here
Michael
We actually got the same room as last week, though we had a major leak from the shower which gave us water raining down from the ceiling. Crap happens, not their fault. But we didn't get showers before we left. They do have a good breakfast, though.
John
The best place to stay in the area.
Ross
Very clean room and hotel! We were not able to eat breakfast because we had to leave early.
Michael
Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
Maurice
Breakfast had been highly rated by other guests, I think they must have been referring to a different hotel because we thought it was terrible 1*
Extremely limited offering particularly for anything hot, would not recommend

Mary Joy
Easy check in. Room was great. Breakfast was hot, decent selection. Nice hotel!
Sonia
We had a great 3 day stay here. Room was clean and spacious
Breakfast was simple but great.
If I had one thing I could change it would be to have the room serviced daily - just for beds and rubbish - but this wouldn’t stop me from staying again.
Plenty of parking and good location

We thought the room was clean. We prefer a firm mattress and this mattress was very soft and pretty much worn out. Everything else was good.

We'd never heard of the Cobblestone brand before, but it's up there with all the other mid-market hotels. Our suite was quite large and comfortable enough.

Everything was great except the pillows! Pillows were not comfortable. Flat and stiff.
Susan
It was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in lately.
Randa
This was by far the nicest place we stayed on our 2 week vacation. Everything from check in to check out was fantastic. Very quiet, room bathroom was spotless, bed was comfortable, hot breakfast was very good. They have many amenities that we did not use since our stay was short. Will try to book a stay here again when driving through area. Highly recommend it!

Excellent stay
The service was great, room clean and hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was okay, about what every hotel offers these days. The items that are supposed to be warm were actually warm. Coffee was good. Happy hour in the lounge in the evening was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Adrienne
The property is very presentable, clean, except for the fact that the room smelled really funky when we got in there, but that’s very common and a lot of of regular motels. I don’t know if it’s the cleaning fluid they use or the humidity in the rugs. or need, the vents cleaned on the air conditioner Once you’re in the room you don’t notice it but when you do come and go, it just has a funky smell other than that it is comfortable, and it felt like a ksafe place to stay. And a short walking distance there a very nice family run Mexican restaurant.
Dennis
Clean , new looking short staffed

Very comfortable bed, mostly clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, etc. However, my duvet had a mysterious smudge on it. I called the front desk for a replacement, which they never brought. Also, the AC was super loud; glad I had earplugs.

Great place for a couple nights…would have liked the breakfast to go til 10 but it was good. The room was very spacious and above average for amenities….definitely recommend for a night or two
Lynda

William
Great!
Lorraine
Clean and comfortable but . .
Overall was good. The continental breakfast wasn’t very good.
The service was good, except that the trash cans they use in the eating room was very small and was overflowing almost constantly
Also as an aside, would be nice to have a hot tub. I will be staying at the other hotel in town next time because the other has a hot tub.

Hotel was good, especially for the price. Right beside the river. Almost no one there.
Expedia somehow switched our reservations to a different location and we had to spend a lot of time online and on the phone correcting it. Hotel staff was very understanding.
