They kept my deposit which was $25 plus i had to pay them the $48 and change. That you also charged because they claim they never recieved payment from hotels.com. personally i think it is a little scam they are running. Also they sent me to a room that i entered but was already occupied by another guest and his female companion. They both jumped up grabbed their guns and where gonna shoot me as they thought ibwas just a random intruder. I need a full refund asap

Really gross and unclean

Don't stay here. The staff was nice, but the room was gross. There were no sheets on the bed, just a small blanket with stains and holes. There were multiple flies/bugs in the room, and the room smelled. The bathroom was really gross. It seemed ripe for bed bugs. I immediately turned around and left after opening the door.

The sink did not have a lever to open the drain, so I had to use the bathtub to brush my teeth. The only bath towel available was NOT washed and still had hairs from the previous guest as well as stains in the towel. Same thing with the bed. The pillows were also not fluffed and were not comfortable

Run away. I checked in an hour ago and am still waiting for maintenance person to come. No outlet covers by the sink, wall coming off of the shower, no toilet holder. And even though I told the front desk I wanted to go to bed they would not give me another room told me I had to wait my turn for maintenance man.

1st room I received I walked in went in bathroom it was roaches on the shower curtain and walls. Went to the bedding area roaches also on walls and floor, I paid for King size bed and it was full size so I went to office told them about the roaches and wrong bed sized so she switch me rooms I go in there it was a dbl bed this time, no towels, one cover had burned whole in it no shower curtain it was a rope going across as a rod, turned on sink water corn came up, peel whole didn’t have a cover you can actually see out etc….it was HORRIBLE I or my family will not RETURN

This place should be shut down by the health department. I got a refund and slept in my car with my husband. Roaches everywhere crawling on the bed, no towels or wash cloths, bed wasnt made, filthy sheets with cigarette burns, sticky floors, bullet holes in the window.....Other people complaining about the smell of urine in their rooms. I think i got a refund bevause of the pictures and the girl at the front desk felt sorry for us. The refund took a few days to come through and we couldn't get another room until my husband's check hit the bank. We drove 12 hours and that disgusting place didn't help. You couldnt even take a shower or crap it was so disgusting. And its in a sketchy, unsafe area. Run...

I could not believe what I saw when I drove up. The place looks like a condemned hotel. It had a sign on the building stating it rented rooms by the week or month.

Doors to rooms had been kicked open and not repaired as the framing around the door were splintered and had not been repainted.

As I drove around the back side of the hotel, room doors were open, people were living there, with piles of clothes and other things piled up against the walls.

There were also abandoned vehicles that had broken windows and looked like a junk yard. There were even little kids' pools filled with water under the trees and trash everywhere.

When I went to check in, there where 2 men and 2 females sitting outside of the room by the office, and they were snorting something. I was also propositioned by one of the females asking if I wanted company for the night.

When I got inside the office, I told the clerk that my wife and family members would not be staying the night at the hotel as I did not feel safe and would not have my family stay in such a hotel that looks more like a crack house than a hotel.

The clerk said she understood and that it happens quite often. She was very helpful by canceling my reservation and told me to contact Expedia about the situation to get a refund.

Expedia and Red Roof Inn should not have listed this hotel on their sight and should look into this matter. Even the Red Roof sign looks terrible and does not match the picture provided on the website.

The most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen! From HORRIFIC AMOUNTS OF ROACHEs to non working lights… We went through 3rooms before finding what seemed to be a sleepable room.. Expedia.com was telling me that there was rooms available so I went ahead and booked my room over Expedia.com, then when I arrived to the hotel location all the lights for the hotel were turned off, the lobby smelled marijuana really bad! Plus all of that the service representatives at the lobby told me that they were sold out and don’t have any room and she gave me a cancellation #, and that I should contact expedia to get a refund!

Here is where it gets more exciting, i searched and searched for expedia customers service number but the results were negative, I couldn’t find any numbers! The only way was to chat with a robot 🤖 online through a chat after 3 hours of trying I finally got a real agent on the live chat but Josh ( the real agent from the live chat) couldn’t talk to me over a call) I explained the situation to him but I haven’t hear back from them or get my refund back!

I’m short Expedia are trash and that red roof hotel is more trashy

The first thing i noticed was the lighting at the property, it was super dark. There were people hanging out everywhere. There seemed to be people living there. I booked 2 rooms for my family, the first room was dirty, had no Air conditioning, no covers on the bed, pillows were yellow, tv was broke,no towels, the bathroom was completely dirty. Literally the WORST hotel we have stayed in in decades of travel. Light fixtures torn out of the wall and hanging, lamps that flash on and off constantly, cockroaches, broken lock, broken windows. Someone obviously had a dog locked in the bathroom because the bathroom door was scratched and had a huge hole in it and there were pee stains all over it. The last night we were there, the bathroom light fixture crashed to the floor because it had filled with water from the bathroom above. The maintenance guy came and literally threw wet dirty towels on the floor saying \"we don't have mops\". They did not move the people above us, who continued to use the shower and water was dripping into our bathroom all night.
I wrote a letter to the county health dept to try to get this place closed down. I wish that hotels.com would not list places like this - truly uninhabitable. The girl at the front desk was nice and tried to be helpful but there is no helping a place like this - it should be shut down, period.

Clean room but terrible housekeeper.

My room was clean but no bathroom linens (towels, washcloths, etc.) When i went to the front desk and asked for some i was told the housekeepwr could get me some when the came in ay 11am the next day! Checkout time! So i asked for a late checkout so i would have time to shower. I was told \"that would be fine\". 1101am i get a knock on my door by a rude woman asking when i was leaving. I explained to her that i had requested a late checkout because i was not given any towels and would need time to shower. She asked who told me it was okay to stay longer because it wasnt up to them, that only she could approve late checkouts. Before i could tell her, \"the front desk\", she was knocking on the next door. Never got towels and felt bullied out of my room before i could shower. Good job on the cleanliness, but leave the customer service to someone with a better attitude. I wont be back. Good deal = gun shots and so much drug traffic, youll be sleeping with one eye open. I won't be back.

When I got to the room, there was a bag of marijuana in the nightstand. There were cigarette butts all over the floor underneath the bed. The lightbulbs have been taken out of all of the fixtures, except for one. If I had to guess I would say that this had been used as the party room, and was never cleaned.

When a place only costs $39, you really have to be willing to accept the fact- that it is going to be run down. If money was being/had been invested in the place, the rate would be higher. I do not expect that much, when I stay at a cheap motel- like this- but one thing I can never accept or tolerate is bugs. Cockroaches... In my room. No remote. Air Conditioner was absolutely disgusting, and filthy. Windows were sealed shut, and there was no exaust fan... So no ventilation means, it smelled really bad, and it was really humid- which was causing the ceiling to crumple. There was what looked like a huge pile of horse poop, right outside my door. Toilet was broke. Tons of hair clogging drain. Walls, floor... Bathroom... EVERYTHING!- was so flithy you did not want to have to accidentally touch it. 1 of the drawers was full of broken glass. I have no words for other drawer... See picture.

Upon arrival at the property, there were a shortage of keys, and we were told that we could only have one key to the room with two adults. Next there were no towels, soap or shampoo beds had to be remade before we could get some sleep. Everything was finally done by 11pm that evening. There were at least two visits by the local police department to the property. I would not recommend this property to anyone! Trust me when I say that the picture is very deceiving and as far as the hotel staff Day shift manager was quite rude and the night manager was none assistant

Okay going to a 2 star hotel, you're not going to have high expectations but I at least expect to ACTUALLY HAVE ROOM. First of all I got an email saying I checked in at 7pm when I did not get there until 8pm and when we get there they overbooked and gave someone else our room. Granted I called earlier in the day to confirm my stay so their excuse of the computer automatically overbooked is completely BS. Not to mention they charged us for our stay when we were only supposed to get charged when we checked in. When I checked my email again it said that we cancelled our stay (we did not) and it said we did so at the exact time we went to check in. So they canceled our stay the second we walked in?! The lady at the desk was absolutely no help and acted like she had nothing to do with the mistakes that were made even though she is the one I spoke to earlier in the day to confirm my stay. I'm just glad that we didnt live too far and even though it was inconvenient we were able to go back home to sleep for the night. Imagine if it was someone out of state and couldn't find a place to sleep for the night because of this hooible service.
