We liked everything about this property. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and nice amenities. Being next to the Oregon Garden was a highlight. We appreciated that entrance to the garden and breakfast was included in our room rate. The location is also a short drive to Silver Falls state park, local wineries, and historic downtown Silverton. We would stay again.

The pool was cold. The hot tub was great. Stingy with checkout time. Continental breakfast was ok. The resort is beautifully decorated with plants and trees galore. Front desk/lady was slow and cumbersome by having guest fill out a registration form. And about 5 guests ahead of us and no backup help was there.

This resort was beautiful. The furniture and finishes were dated but everything was well maintained and clean. The rooms were well furnished, spacious and ours had a high ceiling. Loved that it had a fire place and AC; set for the seasons. the beds were comfortable and we all slept well w/ the room darkening curtains. The pool set up was really nice. Kids had a great time. Do wish there had been a staff member available or access to the main building to order drinks/snackage. The lounge w/ the live music was really nice! fun games to grab and play, variety of table set ups inside and outside and the live music was really good! The morning complementary breakfast was delicious and the morning views from the dining room were stunning. This place offers a lot for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed our evening here immensely.

The room was clean. The air conditioning was nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The grounds were well-maintained outside your fenced back patio area in the fenced area could use some landscaping maintenance. There were leaves all over the ground. The continental breakfast was nice. Had an issue with my door key. It only worked the first night that we arrived. Went to the reception desk several times to have them reprogram the door, key card and return with no success luckily I left the rear door open and had to go around to the rear of the building to enter my room. The Oregon Garden was beautiful. The poor hot tub were nice except there weren’t enough towels for all. All being said a nice place to stay for the price.

The only issue we had was the A/C couldn't keep the room cool enough because it was just a small wall unit and they happened to have excessive heat while we were there. Didn't mean to bring the TX heat with us to OR. Whoops! Other than that, it was a great location, staff responded quickly to any issues we had. Beautiful property! Couldn't really hear the noises from other rooms, and the high ceilings really made a dramatic looking room. Plus patios! Will definitely book again!

I loved having the garden right there to explore. I loved having free breakfast last until 10am, and have all food available rather than arrive just before 10am to find staff packing up the food and nothing is left anyway. I loved the front desk staff (Heaven) and the bartenders that were there on Tuesday evening.

I was disappointed to have been asked ( even before receiving a greeting) if I had a reservation because they were \"not taking walk-ins\" on Monday night. I was fine with eating in town, I just wish the information had been given differently. I've been to the Oregon Gardens many times through the years, and have brought others, and had a membership when the garden first opened, and I have always felt welcome in the past.

My room was spotless, and had a lovely, quiet view. My patio was spacious and I enjoyed being out there, listening to the birds. The room was comfortable.

The bathroom needed some work - the sink and tub drained very slowly.
The toilet seat was secured only on one side, so it moved back and forth easily.
The bathroom tile had a big crack in two of the connected tiles, and when that place is stepped on, the floor literally moves under the tile. A very overweight person could probably break the tile and find their foot going through the rotten wood beneath.
The garden gate didn't work so every time I wanted to walk in the garden it was a hassle to find a way in.

The food on Tuesday night was delicious and my drink was good.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Our room was quiet and clean and the beds were comfortable. These three are my basic criteria. In addition, the setting was lovely, the lounge and entertainment were a treat, the breakfast was delicious, and access to the stunning Oregon Gardens delightful. The drive from I-5 at Salem was surprisingly easy, through farmland and past The Willamette Pie Company (a must-stop). I'll be back!

This was our first time here and we fell in love with it. From the beautiful flower gardens, views of the sunsetting from the restaurant enjoying our wine, to the comfort of our room was all amazing. The staff were all friendly, the room was clean, and the food was amazing!
We enjoyed the hot tub after dinner, then watched a movie in our room next to the amazing fireplace and complimentary channels.
We will be back when we come Oregon.

Very clean room. Good air conditioner and fireplace. (We used both, separately.) Quiet, private room location on the edge of property. Great shower. Good breakfast included. Wonderfully included entrance to The Oregon Garden. Close proximity to town and state park. Great dinner at on-site restaurant. Loved our stay overall!

The landscaping around the property was beautiful and well kept. However, some exterior maintenance details needed attention, such as patios and walls where birds and winter weather had visited, and spider webs on outdoor lanterns. Also the resort is storing its winter-market-village vendor shacks in a large corner opposite some of the guestroom buildings, which I found a bit unsightly. All in all, we would stay again though!

What a delightful oasis outside of Silverton. We have stayed in Silverton before and were looking forward to another small-town experience. Found the Oregon Garden Resort online and didn't know what to expect. The grounds were beautiful and lush, with great walking paths and amazing landscapes.

Our room was large and cozy. Our bed was comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. We didn't use the fireplace, but definitely would have if the weather had been cooler. In the morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the private patio which was nice, except for the garden snake friend we made. :).

We enjoyed the evening in the Fireside Lounge and the happy hour specials. We missed the live music that evening, but were told it was great.

Overall a great find and we'll definitely return one day.

This is our second stay here and has become one of our favorite places to stop on Long trips through Oregon. As a relaxing resort experience. There's a good restaurant on site that always has live music and good food. We love the hot tub there and the pool. It's dog friendly and staff is super nice. The buffet breakfast is house made and wonderful. Then you get to step out and enjoy the beautiful gardens of the Oregon Garden all at a reasonable price. What could be better? How about a Frank Lloyd wright house on site that you can tour or at least walk around and look at?

I enjoyed my visit. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk clerk was amiable. We chatted a bit, he said he commutes to work from Salem. Our room was quite spacious for 2. The bed was well made, with nice sheets and blankets. We turned on the fireplace to warm up the room, later turned it off. The private porch serves as an extension of the room, a good place to have cocktails (bring along your favorite.)
My only criticism: the coffee making apparatus is awkward to use. I managed to make a cup. Set it up just before you make it. I wished I'd brought my own hot pot, and pour-over filter and mug because I truly dislike the waste of hotel room coffee.
The dining room serves good dinners. Maybe offer some updates: instead of plain hummus, vary it: addition of hummus with canned stuffed grape leaves and jicama veggies. A baked potato with stuffings. Baked beans and German sausage (meat, veg choice.) Breakfast in the dining room was delicious, old fashioned biscuits, gravy, eggs, etc. The plain yogurt and granola tasted great. I enjoyed looking at the landscaped grounds while sipping coffee. Very nice beginning to the day.

This is such a lovely hotel in a beautiful town! I was excited about going on a hiking trip to nearby Silver Falls State Park and lucked out booking this place. It’s attached to a beautiful garden that you get free admittance to as a hotel guest. I don’t know if it’s always this way, but the garden is open until 4 to the general public, but open until 7 for hotel guests, so we got to ramble around lilacs and beautiful ponds almost completely on our own. So restful and beautiful! And the room was great, the bed was super comfortable and the room had a great AC and fireplace, as well as a really good showerhead (very appreciated after hiking 10 miles). The free breakfast buffet was just fine, but I would avoid the cornbread bacon muffins. Would absolutely stay here again if we are ever near the area.

Stayed here to go to the tulip festival. The rooms are comfortable but need serious updating. Our floor was very creaky when you walk on it and we had sugar ants on the floors and in the bathroom. Shower pressure was great, parking nice and close. The coffee pot in the room is located in a little alcove with no light, so the instructions that are in the way back on the wall, were hardly readable and we filled the water too full and coffee overflowed everywhere.

Like the fireplace and ceiling fan but the A/C that we much needed in the evening came on and off every few minutes and was right by my head, so i slept like crap. I wish it would have either stayed on or off and not toggled all night long every 2-3 minutes.

Continental Breakfast was really good, variety changed daily, staff helpful.

Loved that there were gardens and Frank Lloyd Wright house on the property. Wish I had time to see the gardens and sit in the hot tub. Next time.

Apparently if you want the best rooms the resort has to offer, you need to book directly with the resort. I inadvertently booked through an Expedia sponsored site months in advance and was put into a pet friendly building when I didn't book for a pet friendly room. The room was pretty worn with old blood stains in the bathroom that I finally asked the housekeeping staff to clean on our 3rd day. Our accommodations were disappointing. Otherwise the resort was nice, gardens are lovely, nice location.
