We had an amazing experience at this very unique hotel. Everything about it was spectacular! Beautiful rooms with stunning view of the port, George was the kindest most welcoming person I’ve met in a long time. The property condition is excellent, within walking distance to everything you need. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Chania. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views from the rooftop and rooms. It’s in a great location to explore the Old Town and is only a 15 minute walk to a lovely beach. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Very nice location, in the old town but with very good access by car. The room we had for four people was spacious (two separate bedrooms and a living-room), clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful and we had a great stay. Things to consider for improving: renovate the bathroom.

The hotel is behind Chania’s popular waterfront where all the restaurants and shops are located. The owner of the hotel is very helpful with taxi assistance and recommendations with restaurants. The hotel is gorgeous. We booked two separate rooms; one for a two person and another one for four persons. They’re both neat, roomy and comfortable. They’re suites. The breakfast is on the rooftop with awesome view of sea and the lighthouse.

We had booked 4 rooms here and had a wonderful time. Each room was different and had its own character. The lady organising breakfast couldn't have been more helpful and George at reception was also fantastic. Loved the location, right in the middle of everything. I would recommend Pandora suites.

Location is excellent - you don’t need a car (good job as parking around there is terrible). Lovely hotel - stunning views. Breakfast - as everyone mentions - is not great. More fruit and better choice of cereal is probably all that’s needed. Didn’t ruin stay as room with the mezzanine was nice and spacious and location is so central. Bit noisy during day but that’s due to high ceilings and guests shouting on speaker phones !

I really appreciate the kindness that I experienced from the staff here. Unfortunately my trip was cut short due to delays but I wish I had stayed longer. The shower was absolutely amazing, I had stayed in 3 other hotels on my trip prior to this one and they by far had the best shower space, water pressure and cleanliness. Breakfast was nice, the view from the roof is beautiful. The beds are comfy, nice AC and good room. They also arranged for me to have a driver pick me up from the airport when I arrived very late.

The rooms, the building were picturesque. It was a dream. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the concierge when helping me find a taxi to catch a ferry; he went above and beyond.

For light sleepers, I’d recommend a room facing the courtyard instead of the water; the noise from the port is very loud at no fault of the hotel.

Absolute gem

We were blown away from the moment we walked into the property from the street, it is simply beautiful! The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. We stayed in a superior room with a balcony looking over the harbour, which was absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. It had a separate bedroom and living area, which was a lovely surprise. Great location and value for money, considering how much other hotels in the same area charge. We will definitely return!

The Pandora hotel is a little gem in the old town. We first booked for one night and ended up staying four. The feel of the place is totally relaxed and the people super friendly. The breakfasts are sooo good! The only problem was our wifi but since it forced us not to work and focus on vacation we did not mind so much and just went to the roof for a good reception. We highly recommend it

We had a double room on the second floor overlooking the harbor, you couldn't ask for a better view. We were here in October so it was quieter but there was some late night noise although it wasn't disruptive. Our room did not have a kitchenette but did have cooking facilities: hot plate, fridge, glasses, plates etc. Breakfast was very nice: fresh juice, coffee, tea, cereal, eggs, fruit, bread - all served on the upstairs terrace which is also a perfect place to watch the sunset. The only downside is that the wifi signal was hit or miss, in our room the signal was weak and then nonexistent . Parking is very difficult in the narrow streets around the hotel. FYI: The front desk is closed between 2:30 and 5:30.

We had a fabulous week at Pandora Suites. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with a spectacular view across the harbour. Despite being so close to the local tavernas we were untroubled by noise. The roof terrace was a lovely spot to watch the sunset from. Only downside was the lack of parking locally but we got around very well using local buses (the station is only 10 minutes away) and organised trips (Smart Day Tours highly recommended).

This hotel was really lovely. It was tasteful, spotless, well managed, very friendly and full of extras which made it the luxury boutique hotel that it justly claimed to be ( eg high quality linens changed every day). The views to the harbour and the snow covered White Mountains from the rooftop at breakfast were to die for.....as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. And served each day by such a friendly lady. I cannot think of anything to fault this hotel but only things to make me want to return. And I haven’t even mentioned yet what great value it was or the swallows swooping down over the rooftop as the sun was going down.

Property very close to harbour, shops and restaurants. Breakfast basic with tea, coffee, juice, bread, cheese, turkey, fruit and boiled eggs, but nice and sufficient for first meal of the day. Breakfast served upstairs on the roof terrace, but can get windy. Only downside booking with Expedia, was room was shown as 2 bedded room, then upon arrival it is shown on booking form as “requested 2 beds”. The hotel lady did a great deal of calling around, and even found one of us a hotel nearby so we had separate beds, but eventually, 6 hrs later she swapped some other guest, who wanted a double bed with ours. So even though a bad start with booking, the hotel front desk where 10/10 for effort.

An attractive building with pleasant accommodation. The roof terrace where breakfast is served has stunning views. However there is no lift and there are lots of stairs to climb. Some of the rooms tend to be very noisy with night clubs directly below.

Just returned from great 5 days staying at the Pandora suites. Wonderful views across the harbour. Great roof sun terrace. Room was clean spacious. Loved sitting on the terrace having early breakfast with the views out to sea.
Tip - take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the local clubs stay open til the early hours.

Perfect location

Pandora Suites could not be more centrally located. It is literally in the heart of town. You have easy access to shops and restaurants. It is a 8 minute walk to the bus station which has lines that can take you to all of the beaches, attractions as well as airport transport. Additionally, there are travel agencies that are a short 3 minute walk from the hotel that can book any tour you may want to take.

There is also a lovely local beach that is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It is a very easy walk along the shoreline and it has many restaurants and sun beds to rent for the day.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was lacking was a real breakfast. The coffee was not the best quality and the selection for breakfast very sparse. There are many local options just a short walk away. To make this a really great experience I would suggest addition more sweet and savory assortments to the menu. There is literally 3-4 choices for your breakfast menu. None of which we found interesting or flavorful.

Very cute hotel! Pleasantly surprised by the room. It had a small kitchenette and the bed was in the loft above. Very cute and tastefully decorated with old, refurnished furniture. Bed was comfortable. Great location very close to tourist attractions and in the heart of old town Chania. Although there were bands playing every night, we were not kept up by noise at all. Also a beautiful rooftop seating area overlooking the harbor where breakfast was served. Would most definitely stay here again! The only reason I rated service a 4 is because reception isn't always there, but they were very accommodating with our late arrival, and I rated neighborhood a 4 because the street the hotel entrance is on its a bit \"shady.\"

could not sleep all night due to night club and shouting that did not finish until six am . We paid almost 100 euro for this and the staff said why did you not call the police. It is not for customers to call the police the hotel must know that this happens every weekend so why put a guest in a room so close to the problem area . Also there is a parking problem there is little to none in the area due to the amount of traffic.In all honesty i could not recommend this hotel due to the problems experienced

The roon was exactly as it was in the picture. amazing. Staff-super friendly and helpful. Location outstanding. The only problem was the beds are hard and there was a nightclub below that had-bass going until 4 AM. So those two factors made the sleep hard but everything else was good.

Excellent location on the old harbour in Chania close to dozens of excellent restaurants. Our large, air conditioned room was just off the lovely courtyard in the centre of the hotel. It had a good bathroom and shower, a small kitchen area with a refrigerator and the bed was upstairs on a mezzanine floor. The staff were brilliant and the view from the roof where breakfast is served is probably the best in Chania.

Great hospitality and views of harbor; the location is right around the corner of lots of dining options. Decent breakfast. No TV in room, but free wifi. It seemed as if the room was directly over a nightclub; bass was thumping from 8p-6a. Room had a little kitchenette. Freezing in the winter (no heater), but it had lots of tile and seemed to have an AC unit, which would probably keep it cool in summer. NO parking!! We got super lucky to find a spot about 100' from the hotel, but we were there in the very UNcrowded winter; I imagine parking being very far away in the summer. The hotel's street had no outlet and was very narrow making turning around near impossible; it would've been a nightmare if there were other cars following behind us or coming towards us.

Pandora suites is really a gem. A boutiqe hotel where every piece is carefully chosen from chairs even to curtain handlers, designed really good. Right in front of the port and not too noisey. Ms. Dora was awesome and caring. The view at the roof is priceless. Only the breakfast can be better in terms of choices.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse et donnent de bons conseils.
La vue depuis la chambre sur le port est incroyable !
Et alors, le petit déjeuner en roof top super.

Back for the 5th time

A so nice place. Room with a fantastic view over the bay and Chania old town. And the breakfeasts at the roof terracce are unforgettable. This is our 5th visit to this charming hotel.
