We had a wonderful stay here, right at the foot of the slopes. Our room was amazing as we were on the corner and had a wrap around balcony. It was clean on arrival and serviced daily. Breakfast was nice although there could have been more warm vegetarian options for my friend.
The spa facilities were nice after a day on the slopes although the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer.

The staff were warm and friendly and helpful. Ski lockers were a bit small but there is a ski hire shop next door which was handy.
Despite a few minor things I’ve still given it 5 stars as I would definitely stay there again and hope to next year.

Lovely hotel. we stayed in the summer so not their peak season. It was great but was so hot (designed to be cosy for snowy winters!!) and when we asked for a fan, the first staff member told us there weren't any. We asked again and someone else. ( much more helpful) found one for us. The area is great, we have been in winter for skiing and in summer for mountain biking. Make sure the lifts are open before you book! Walking/cycling in summer are amazing especially with the lifts. Cycle hire shop that we used was fab. Lots of shops and cafés nearby. The hotel's pool is one of the nicest indoor pools I've seen. Overall amazing.

Beautiful, comfortable and cosy... luxury hotel

We visited Les Gets for the first time and our stay at the Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte could not have been better. We were warmly greeted by reception, had the most amazing room and so impressed with the cosy lounge. The breakfast was delicious, the location perfect as directly by the slopes and lifts (if skiing). The most relaxing luxurious stay in a quality hotel. We will return, thank you for making our break special.

Fab location, excellent food in the restaurant, the service was outstanding, your staff are superb. One tiny tiny thing that could be improved, the bar could have been opened up earlier. We wanted to have a business meeting at 4pm, beautiful comfortable seating area, perfect for a meeting but couldn’t get any drinks for our guests. Otherwise an A1 experience, thank you

Terrible! Don’t waste your money!

We were disappointed that every evening, the fire was not lit in the main lounge nor was the bar open. We asked to get a drink and were told the bar does not open until Saturday 23rd but when we spoke to a man on reception, he said he would get us a drink. We made it clear that we would have liked to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink in the evening but the fire was not lit once. The only night it was lit was on Thursday when we made a complaint but it was too late as we had left to go elsewhere. We understand that we are staying pre-season; however, we booked with the presumption that the lifts would be open (as stated on the Les Gets website). Whilst we understand the hotel is not busy and won’t be until the season begins but what about the guests that are staying in the hotel like is? It is not difficult to have the fire lit and to have someone on the bar to serve your guests?

On another note, the swimming pool was freezing as was the jacuzzi. This was both in the morning and in the afternoon- it was not an enjoyable experience. Other guests also felt the same and we even heard a French couple complaining how cold it was! There were also only a few towels, the two times we went, we had to share a towel! It was really not very enjoyable at all.

First impressions count and the rude receptionist let this property and the experience down. Dragging chairs around the restaurant early every morning vibrated through our room above which meant no relaxation was possible.

As expected for a chalet hotel in a ski resort during summer, ie not as charming as in winter. Covid 19 restrictions well respected (masks when walking in hotel, staff serving buffer for guests etc.). Parking a little hard to find and not close to entrance. Updated bathroom but dated room. No air flow switch in bathroom (why?). Nice service. Very central

Really great stay here - so close to the slopes and the shops. Lovely family room with proper space and wardrobes. Loved the ski room that took you pretty much to the main lift. Brilliant facilities and lovely staff. Will definitely be back!

This hotel is a dream for mountain bikers. With it being situated directly across the road from the Chavannes lift which takes you to the top of Les Gets trails and even has FREE PARKING. They even have ample MTB storage in a secure and locked garage.

Perfect location with alpine style and fab food!

Amazing location in the town. Super cute Alpine style hotel with fantastic restaurants and bar. Classic room is small but has everything you need, and our balcony looked straight over the slopes next to the Chavanne lift. Ski shops right next door too! Great ski locker area in the hotel. Friendly staff.
Bathroom is a little tired but we had the most basic room.
Despite the central location, the noise is minimal!
All in all, hard to fault! Will definitely go back, but may opt for a bigger room.

Great hotel for skiing

Excellent hotel, comfy room, charming staff and great restaurants. Add in the most convenient location at the foot of the slopes to make a great location for a ski holiday in Les Gets. The pool is huge (could have been a touch warmer during our stay) and the spa is excellent (but they need to turn the sauna on before the 4pm opening time!). We had a great stay, and will be back again.

Staff were lovely and the hotel overall was good. Bistacha restaurant really good and breakfast in the Piste anoir was also good. Room (family room on the 4th floor) was a bit tight for 3 of us with all the clobber you take skiing but the view over the pistes was lovely. Shower wasn’t very good and the WiFi was average in our room so our 9 yo missed her kind doe time (1st works problems). Other facilities (ski lockers etc were good and our daughter enjoyed the pool.

Overall very nice hote, lovely staffl and we would retur.

A good choice to stay in Les Gets

Decent place and very decent staff. The location excellent for access to the lifts. There’s a bike room in the garage. The restaurant had some good food. The breakfast was good most days and with excellent pastries. The rooms would be improved with tea/coffee making facilities and some glasses being in them. In many respects a good choice to stay in Les Gets

Great position being almost ski in-ski out.
Spa and restaurants are fabulous! Perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes. The only small complaint is that the room was very hot! The view out over the slopes made up for that though. I would not hesitate to book again.

Top spot for a break

Roome have views over the ski slopes in winter and summer sports activities such as parapente, BMX amd walking trails. The hotel provides all the comfort one would expect of a four star hotel. Brakfast provides a ramge of offerings including cereals, bread and pastries, yoghurt, juices and fresh fruit. Free parking is available in a public car park 50 metres from the hotel

A weekend away in Les Gets. The downstairs and public areas are much nicer than the bedrooms. The bedrooms are functional and comfortable without being plush. Hotel staff are friendly breakfast was a bit disappnting.

Very handy for town and first ski lift.

The hotel was really good on most things, it was very handy for the town centre and the ski lifts.

The room was a little old and small, but still clean and tidy.

The staff, that's a strange one, as some were very good and some awful.

I was pretty happy with most things, however for the cost I would expect a higher quality of service from all staff and a more modern spacious room.

Charming hotel with a great location

A Lovely stay on our return leg of a Euro tour with this hotel a great position for the mounting biking that we have chosen.
room was warm comfy and clean - the water in the bathroom could have been hotter and the WiFi was not very efficient... did not work on our stay.
Staff were absolutely fantastic especially Thierry and Sandrine..... Thierry was on hand at all hours of the day to provide efficient and personable service.... he remembered everyone's name and their preferences....a Jewel.
Food at breakfast was varied and of good quality the Restaurant was excellent at dinner, however the dessert selection could be improved.
Overall a great stay and will be back in the winter for some fun next year
We stayed across the road in the La Tapiaz part of the hotel and the rooms here seemed to be more modern - Many thanks for a lovely stay!

Fabulous ambience & staff, facilities need work

Staff were fab but the pool is cold as is the jacuzzi. Shower was broken & water was cold one morning . Would certainly go back & hope these things would be fixed .

Very Friendly Service, Beautiful Hotel & Dest.

Very friendly service. Beautiful hotel and destination--right next to the main chairlift of Les Gets. A true mountain lodge with rustic rooms (they have modern amenities and are very comfortable however). Good complimentary breakfast provided. Excellent pool and spa. No complaints. You will leave feeling truly relaxed. The only bad thing is that the one reasonably priced method of transportation from Cluses (closest train station) operates very infrequently, so you'll likely have to take a 60 Euro taxi to Les Gets from station or ~150 Euro from Geneva, unless you're lucky and find an arriving/departing train that happens to work with the bus schedule. Moreover, train route from Geneva is not very direct at all. It all seems worth it, however, once you've arrived.

L'accueil et le service toujours aussi chaleureux. Une réactivité au top quand vous avez besoin, et avec le sourire.
L'emplacement est un vrai plus, la chambre était spacieuse, la literie très confortable.
Seul bémol si je compare le buffet pdj à ce que je peux trouver dans d'autres hôtels du même standard reste un peu light. Par exemple il n'y a pas beaucoup de légumes, ni de fromage, le choix reste limité et assez souvent le même, on pourrait attendre un peu de renouveau le matin avec un ou deux produits/plats qui sortent de l'ordinaire.
Le reste est top, je recommande les yeux fermés.

Réception et personnel très aimables. Chambre confortable, bien décorée, upgradée, bonne idée d’avoir une seconde porte d’isolation du bruit du couloir.
On travers la rue en sous-sol par tunnel pour espace spa. Grand hammam, sauna sous-sol (bémol douche sensorielle cassée), puis piscine (pas très chaude à 20 degrés), jacuzzi et en extérieur un sauna et jacuzzi
En intersaison petit déjeuner correct mais assez limité en diversité.

Parfait!!

Formidable séjour!! Tout était parfait!!! Petit déjeuner varié et qualitatif. Etablissement bien situé, très propre et joliment décoré. Personnel aimable et professionnel. Le restaurant est également une belle découverte, nous nous sommes régalés. Piscine et spa agréables et paisible, peu de monde.

Les chambres sont bien.
En été le parking est gratuit dans parking sous le télésiège à 50 m de l’hôtel.
Un espace piscine et balnéothérapie magnifique.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Hôtel bien situé avec une belle piscine couverte.
Personnel très agréable.
Chambre familiale spacieuse.
Par contre, forte odeur désagréable de fuel dans les parties communes (La Tapiaz) durant tout le séjour.
Pas possible de profiter du balcon de la chambre 5 sans être dérangé par le bruit de la ventilation de la piscine.
Quelques détails qui pour moi font un peu « cheap » pour un 4* : pas de chaussons dans la chambre et des distributeurs de gel douche.
La partie salée du petit déjeuné offre peu de choix et est de qualité moyenne.

Merci à tout le personnel de La Marmotte. L'accueil-check-in est très rapide, nous avons été surclassé dans une magnifique chambre rénovée dernièrement (202). Tout le confort nécessaire est présent.
L'hôtel dispose d'un centre wellness (sauna Hamam) et une vraie grande piscine.
Très bon petit déjeuner.
Nous n'avons pas pu tester le restaurant qui appartient également à l'établissement mais je suis sûr qu'il est excellent.

Beaucoup de points positifs:
- L'hotel a beaucoup de facilities, avec une piscine, un jacuzzi (pas tres chaud), un hammam, un spa, une salle de jeu pour les ados et meme un (petit) kid's club.
- Il est tres bien situe, en face des pistes, avec la location de ski Intersport juste a cote. Pour les cours de ski, le point de depart 360 est plus proche qu'ESF.
- Le buffet du petit dejeuner est bien, sans etre non plus tres diversifie.

Il y a juste quelques points d'ameliorations:
- certaines chambres sont vieillottes et auraient besoin d'un bon facelift, en particulier les suites familliales en duplex, qui pourtant sont tres bien placees avec vues sur les pistes.
- Les restaurants ne sont pas a la hauteur de l'hotel mais il y a beaucoup de bonnes options dans la station, a commencer par le Christiana (juste en face), qui a une cuisine creative. Je recommande aussi le Tyrol si vous cherchez de la cuisine traditionnelle.

Enfin, un hotel parfait pour les familles mais si vous etes a la recherche d'un endroit pour etre en couple, oubliez cet hotel car beaucoup d'enfants pendant les vacances scolaires.

Super séjour dans ce bel établissement historique du centre des Gets
Personnel jeune et sympathique, toujours souriant et aidant
Hôtel avec de nombreux services, restaurants, spa, belle piscine etc
Très bonne carte au restaurant malgré quelques plats manquants car la saison s’achevait
Chambres un peu vieillissante mais la plupart vont être refaites visiblement. J’espère que les prix resteront « abordables »

Hotel super! nous avons passé un super weekend. le spa est top et les soins sont top. seul bémol le petit déj en chambre qui n'était pas au niveau des prestations de cet hotel et le garage un peu compliqué pour ce garer.
