It is an old property and looks its age but is reasonably well maintained. Staff are helpful. We had a ground floor room but right at the end of the corridor. Water pressure and hot water was not great. If you have your own transport then location is not a problem otherwise be prepared to walk ~1 km or so together to some shops. There are some food stalls nearby but are open in the evening.

We had to book this room quickly as we missed our ferry to Langkawi and had booked in for a ferry next day.
For a last minute option, the room was okay. The walls were in a bad condition though and the AC was very slow as well so it didnt cool the room well either.
The staff was great though!

As a 3 star property this did not disappoint. The location was convenient for us as we had an event in the event hall next door. There are only 3 stories and a lift was available. Rooms near the swimming pool can be noisy from the swimmers (mainly children)
The property is quite far from town so having your own transport is an advantage

Hotel was comfortable enough - not very flash, rather old. We paid an extra RM100 to get upgraded to a deluxe room, which is the same size but apparently amnenities are better. Was a pleasant stay - quiet, comfortable.

A bit disappointing

A bit disappointing. The rooms were large but amenities were virtually non existent. Two miniature bottles of shampoo and nothing else. No hairdryer( well I couldn’t find it anywhere). Front office staff were friendly and checkin quick. Room badly in need of maintenance with powers points not working and window missing a lock. However beds were comfortable. We found it generally rather overpriced.

This hotel really sucks, don't go!

This hotel needs a mega upgrade. It's like a hotel in the 80's, everything is worn out. Room is so dim, bed sheet and bath towels are very smelly. I requested 2 towels and they charged me rm 6! I had never been asked for money for requesting clean towels in any hotel in my entire life, this was the first time. I was surprised but not angry, as i think they need money to upgrade everything, i just felt funny. The room smelled musky when we first entered the room, maybe due to the air conditioning isn't maintained for long, worst of all - during buck pause time, the roast lamb smell went into the room and the whole room smelled like roast lamb that made us needed to leave the hotel and catch some fresh air. Will not return for sure!

The hotel is beautiful compared to other Seri Malaysia hotels. There is a recreational hill behind the hotel and suitable for morning exercise. You can see the paddy fields around the area from top of the hill.

Nice hotel and close to the town.

Nice and friendly staff. Really appreciate for the hotel guest not to park at disable parking lot eventhough it is not occupied. Disable parking lot is mainly for disable driver and not for normal driver with disable passanger. Malaysian need to change attitude if we want to claim MALAYSIA BARU. If Japanese are able to follow the rules why not Malaysian.

A Perfectly Acceptable Hotel

Stayed 1 night at the hotel. Its a big sprawling compound which is not the kind of hotel i would choose. However, due to lack of options and location wise, this hotel is okay. Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast was not included so I cant comment on that. For those who is looking for a place to stay, this hotel is perfectly acceptable place to stay for a few nights especially when you have kids because the swimming pool is big and plenty of monkeys to feed.

Quiet and comfortable.

Pleasant stay with all our needs attended to by the staff promptly. The restaurant serves quite a variety of dishes - the Mee Mydin and Mee Hailam we had were very good and the Teh Tarik was super. The breakfast spread was very good and reasonably priced.

Room is accessible to wheel chair. Staffs are responsive to my request beforehand.

Hotel Wifi is terrible. Signal reception for handphone is very weak here. Cups are not presentable and stained due to usage. Bathroom easily flooded with water and take time to dry. Maybe due to to the design or workmanship of contractors
