Staff was excellent, very clean. However our bathroom sink was not draining properly and this was mentioned to staff on day one of our stay and it was never fixed. Also our room (201)was next door to the service room and it was very very noisey. We asked to switch rooms and we were told No.

This hotel is showing its age and whilst the lobby is of a high standard the rooms and decor are tired.
The staff are helpful but just a little distant in their engagement- maybe too many work professionals pass through. As an individual traveller I would have appreciated More engagement.

This was a great hotel, though the walls a thin in tge bedrooms and we could hear the television of the people above us till very late..also our shower needed a new washer..apart from that though we had a very comfortable stay and lovely breakfast. .The staff were very helpful too..

Pleasant stay in Lecce...

A short stay in Lecce had been made even more relaxing by the experience in at the President.

I need to leave my luggage earlier that the listed checkin time due to other plans, which was not a problem -the reception staff were quite happy to keep secure until later that day. To my pleasant surprise on my arrival, my luggage had already been taken to my room.

The staff overall were very friendly and accommodating, and could help with any questions.

Although the room itself had perhaps a slightly dated decor, the toilet/shower room was modern and very large. Overall, the comfort level was to a very high standard.

I would return.

the hotel is situated in an excellent position close to the city centre, the old city, the cathedrals and good restaurants and especially the excellent ice cream parlours.
however, there is no gym, or swimming pool.
the Wi Fi is erratic and not reliable. connection is easily lost.
the restaurant menu is not understood and the food was not of varied and acceptable in a modern hotel.
the breakfast, however, was good. their pastry was excellent, and the drinks(coffee etc.)
the waiters were attentive and obliging, and the staff in general were very courteous and helpful.
In conclusion: the hotel needs and deserves some investment. the area is opening up to tourism, and is a novel and exciting area of Italy, not on the traditional tourist track.

Room was freezing and they just turned off the AC which was only blowing cold air. There was no heater working in the room. The furnitures were too old too. But freezing room didnt leave us much space to think about other problems.

Good clean business hotel (but we stayed for leisure), it is 10min straight walk to the old town and a lovely walk. As with many hotels in Italy and Spain, sound insulation is not the best so could hear the cleaners in the hallway early in the morning. OVerall, happy with the choice. Parking is ten eur extra per day

My girlfriend and I stayed here because it had a bath in the room which my girlfriend greatly appreciated. To get the benefit of the breakfast get down early as they don't restock whats on offer. Hotel is a good 20minute walk to the centre of the historic old down but takes you throu a modern part of the city. Garage is charged per night. Staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Very well situated within easy walking distance of the old city center. The hotel shows clear signs of being well managed with competent staff providing a high standard of professional hospitality services. There is an extra fee for wi-fi and for garage parking but these are not excessive. I was impressed with the value and quality of the restaurant and the professionalism of the head waiter and his staff. Overall very good value and I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 4 days on a business trip, great location, the main piazza being only a ten minute stroll away. We'd hired a car and found navigation to the hotel easy and they have garage parking available although this is charged additionally per night. The staff were polite and efficient and our overall experience was great. The rooms were a good size, slightly dated and could do with up lift but they weren't tatty just dated. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast, there was no hot buffett. Normally in a 4 Star your would expect it. But on the whole we would recommend Hotel President as a good base for the Puglia area and especially Lecce.

Hotel grande com excelente atendimento na recepção e no café da manhã, todos muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Café da manhã bom. Pra quem está de carro é uma boa opção, pois o hotel tem estacionamento no subsolo, está fora das ZTLs e fica a poucos minutos de caminha até o centro histórico. Porém as instalações do hotel são antigas, se escuta tudo dos quartos ao lado, sabíamos até o programa de tv que passava no quarto vizinho. Quanto a limpeza, recemos toalhas com manchas que pareciam estar sujas e não repuseram o Xampoo/sabonete que tinha acabado.

Araç ile seyahat ettiğimiz için park imkanı otel diye tercih ettim, yoğunluktan dolayı park olmadığı söylendi. Otel dışında park yeri arayarak zaman kaybettik. Odalarda ses yalıtımı hiç yok, yan odadaki tüm sesler odanın içinde, banyo da su tasarruf olsun diye çok az akıyor, doğru düzgün duş bile alamadım. Kahvaltı çok vasattı, yumurta bile günler öncesinden kaynatılmış, buzdolabından çıkartılmıştı. Otelin tek iti tarafı konumu.

ottimo hotel... ma non si dorme!!!!!

la struttura è in ottime condizioni e con una buona posizione rispetto al centro della città (circa 1km). Dispone di parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento. La camera e il bagno sono molto grandi, ottima doccia, macchina del caffè in camera, colazione discreta. Fino a qui tutto bene.
PROBLEMA (molto importante): il locale a fianco tiene la musica ad un volume folle fino alle 2 di mattina, se come nel nostro caso si ha la sfortuna di avere la camera su quel lato è come avere le casse in stanza.
Un peccato perchè l'hotel meriterebbe ben altra valutazione, ma non potere dormire fino a quando il lcoale di fianco non chiude è improponibile

Molto deludente, peccato!

Esperienza molto deludente! In camera non ci é stato possibile fare una doccia, data la bassissima pressione della doccetta. Ho ritrovato la mia auto spostata (bisogna lasciare le chiavi in reception) e con un graffio; dopo affermazioni contrastanti da parte della direzione e del personale, non si é arrivati ad una soluzione veloce per entrambe le parti; ho chiesto di visionare i video delle telecamere di sorveglianza (nel parcheggio c´é un cartello che segnala la presenza delle telecamere) ma mi é stato detto che non ci sono telecamere; dovró ora avviare una procedura per il risarcimento del danno che dovró pagare (é una vettura in leasing) con conseguente dispendio di tempo e maggiori costi, nella speranza che ci sia poi un rimborso da parte dell'hotel. Colazione ottima e posizione dell'hotel strategica. Al check-out mi hanno chiesto di pagare il parcheggio per la seconda volta (lo avevo pagato il giorno prima per l'intera permanenza)!).

Very bad hotel, very old hotel. Does not looks like the picture… more old. Very noisy, can hear everything in nearbor rooms. Even theire discussens. Not impressed by breakfast either. L'albergo presenta una struttura datata e avrebbe bisogno di una buona ristrutturazione specie nell'efficienza dell'impianto di condizionamento. Hôtel bien situé à 10 min à pieds du centre historique, mais le standing affiché via les photos et l'entrée de l'hôtel ne se confirme pas dans les chambres vieillissantes. Personne très agréable et petit déjeuner complet.
Parking un peu cher à 10e la journée mais indispensable au vue des rues alentours.

Chambre jolie, bel hôtel. En revanche le petit déjeuner une catastrophe. Des omelettes emmenées par 3 alors que nous n’avions pas commandé d’omelettes, des gâteaux emmenés alors que nous n’avions pas commandé.
Il faut demander 50 fois les boissons, c’est vraiment dommage pour un hôtel 4* !!

Hotel un po datato, ma tenuto in buone condizioni, la camera doppia è davvero molto ampia e comoda, pare un grande soggiorno! Divano, tavolino e letto matrimoniale con bagno e vasca ti fanno sentire fome a casa. Letto ok ma cuscini da migliorare, alti e duri, ho fatto un po fatica a riposare bene.

Eccellente rapporto prezzo/qualità. Stanze molto spaziose e confortevoli, pulizia ottima. La colazione un momento delizioso, con i pasticciotti e la frisa, tra tutto il resto. Che dire, una scelta quasi obbligata in città, nessuno può batterlo! Lo consiglio indistintamente a tutti.

È un buon albergo anche se un po demodé, è n posizione strategica per visitare il centro di Lecce.
Stanze spaziose, personale cortese e con un sorriso ( il che non guasta mai)
Buona colazione con scelta varia.
Chiedere stanze sul retro, quelle davanti sono un po' rumorose.
