This was a quick overnight stay before airport early in am. I am picky about my places even if quick and i booked here because of reviews.... the staff was over accomodating in coorespondance regarding a request. They kindly obliged my request and for that this is a 5 star service...

The beds are like temperpedic and comfortable and pillows likewise. Our room 104 was very small like a box but clean and adequate. I do not like the window had a rolldown baracade..could not get fresh air or see out. Very dark with lights out. Despite being ac on.. at 845pm upon arrival there was hardly any circulation amd hot.

Shower is hot. Bring amentities like shampoo and such are none

Cigatette or some kind of burn in comforter. That is a turn off.

Otherwise did not get to use restarant.

Perfect! I stay in a lot of hotels and I can't remember the last time I had better value for money. The room was a reasonable size with a large shower and all the facilities one usually expects including a fridge and a hairdryer.
It is 2 miles from Alicante airport so the ideal location if you have an early morning flight or arrive very late and don't want to drive the same evening.
Torrelano itself has several excellent restaurants and plenty of bars. We will be staying again!

The reception desk was closed because we arrived so late the check-in process was tedious and confusing using the machine outside the hostel. However, we were helped by other guests. We also had our suitcases carried upstairs. The room was large and clean. Bedding and towels clean and fresh. The bunk beds were not particularly welcome for 3 women in their fifties but we coped. 12 o’clock checkout was appreciated. The vending machine in reception only took coins which none of us had. A change machine would have been ideal, or a vending machine that took cards.

We have stayed in this hotel before and liked it. However, I am sure the listing said it included continental breakfast. On check in we were advised that breakfast was not included and that on Saturdays the breakfast started at 8.30. As we had to leave at 9.00 to get to the airport, this was ok. But when arriving in reception at 8.30 both the reception desk and restaurant were closed. Saw one of domestic staff and was told breakfast on Saturday starts at 9. Fortunately we were able to get some breakfast at a lovely bakery nearby.
The air conditioning in the room was very poor even when set to the highest setting. We went to reception and received a portable cooling unit which helped a little but was very noisy and we found it impossible to sleep while it was functioning.
Disappointing after previous positive experience, although I recall that on Sunday there is no breakfast at all.
The hotel is ideally situated for the airport but needs to update it’s air conditioning and maybe review it’s breakfast times.

Really nice hostel. In decent reach to the airport. We arrived at 22.30 so did the machine check in with no problems. The restaurant had stopped serving so we got a takeaway nearby.
Was fairly noisy until 12.30 but late night idiots kept banging around the corridors in the early hours. Apart from that the beds was comfortable and clean.

Very close to the airport, parking on street within 50 yards. Consum supermarket opposite. Plenty of restaurants nearby which are open to 23:00. Room is ok with fridge and kettle, bathroom has shower, bidet, towels and soap. No lift, all rooms are up one flight of stairs.

Great hotel near airport where to can be in a 2 bus stops and under €2 . Comfy clean rooms and safe area. Recommend for affordable option to spend a night to catch an early flight. Busses start working around 8 if not taxi is €18 to airport. Hope this helps

Stayed for one night only before catching an early flight from Alicante.. Not much parking outside of property but plenty on the streets around. Check in reception was easy and friendly.. Room was of good size with A/C, tea & coffee facilities & TV.. close to reception was nice bar for drinks and food that looked nice although we drank but did not eat.. overall it was a good place to stay for what we needed.. tad noisy on busy street but fine.. would stay again if required.

The write-up said the front desk closed at 10, but we arrived at 10:30, and the guy was still there (waiting on some other guests, he said). He was super helpful. We only stayed for one night, so it's hard to give it a thorough review, but we found our stay very pleasant. Parked for free on a side street. Restaurant was open until 11, so we had dinner. My pork sandwich (Iberian) was great, and my son said his burrito was literally the best burrito he's ever eaten. Only detraction is that I was awakened by strange noises coming from our bathroom around 4 a.m. or so. It honestly sounded like an animal skittering around, so I went to investigate, and found nothing. The noises continued off and on thereafter, and I eventually figured out it was the sound of plumbing (running water, etc. going through our pipes, apparently from other guests). No real problem, but I include this info to suggest others may want to close the bathroom door when they go to sleep. It might have just been our room, however. Not sure.

The staff were really helpful, offered to carry our bags up the stairs and booked us a taxi to the airport in the morning. The room was clean and air conditioned. The food was amazing and there are supermarkets very close by.

Nice hotel, basic, but more than adequate for an overnight stay before or after flying.
The restaurant in the hotel looked great, and a fab atmosphere, but sadly we didn't have time to sample it.
We found the public transport to and from the airport a nightmare to understand, so ended up getting a taxi both ways. It wasn't overly expensive but we'd have preferred to use the bus. Unfortunately the reception staff weren't very helpful (admittedly my Spanish is rubbish)

Nice hotel. Well located, especially for the airport. Restaurant in the hotel or plenty of other places to eat. Good sized room. Unfortunately they don’t do breakfast on Sundays and the bakery down the road isn’t open on Sundays either. We did find some coffee and breakfast nearby.

My husband was especially taken by how the bathroom had been refurbished, excellent. Kettle etc in room for tea or coffee which very rarely happens in Spain. Good for airport.

We liked the convenience of having a restaurant next door. However, as is common practise in Spain, you cannot eat in the evening until after 8pm, and you cannot even go into the bar and have a drink while you are waiting for 8pm. The reception staff are very helpful and speak good English which we were grateful for. A taxi to Alicante Airport is just 10-11 euros and takes about 5-10 minutes. You can take a public bus to the centre of Elche to look at the sites for just a euro each (about 30 minutes) or for a few euros each you can walk to the train station and take a train with RENFE trains, and it takes about 15 minutes. You get a fridge and aircon in your room. This hotel is fantastic value for the price.

Family run basic hotel close to Alicante airport

We’ve stayed in this hotel several times as it is basic but close to the airport and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
This time we had a room with very noisy plumbing and my side of the bed didn’t have a bed side cabinet. I moved the chair next to the bed to put my glass of water on it. But as it is only for one night, it didn’t matter so much.

The Hostal la Posada is a charming “old world” hotel within 10 min drive of Alicante airport. I’ve stayed here a few times when I had an overnight in Alicante, and the experience was great. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is awesome — I’ve eaten there several times, and the food & prices are good. It’s a 10 min taxi ride to ALC airport. Definitely recommend!

Pleasing easy check in just before midnight.24hr desk meant we could nip out for drink after a long day. Lovely clean room. Comfy bed and basic but pleasant breakfast. 11 euros taxi from airport and €1:50 each bus back to airport from right outside the hotel. Great little bar around the corner that was still open til 2am!
Will stay again and recommend.

The air conditioning was dire the room was so hot it was unbearable so it is a shame the hotel falls down on this one important point otherwise it would get the highest rating.

10-15 mins from airport by taxi. (11euros) Room clean with good sized bathroom. Small TV but didn't use it. Staff pleasant and helpful. Basic breakfast but included in price. Staff served us at the bar even though it was late when we arrived. Not sure what other facilities were available as we only stayed one night. Would use again.

La Posada is in the main street of a small town, parking is in side streets so can be a gamble. Well served by buses and trains, need to be aware of frequency. The staff are vary pleasant and helpful, breakfast is basic, evening meals are good quality. Torrellano has a few good places to eat, useful as the hotel's restaurant is closed on Sat & Sun evenings.

A very welcome arrival to Alicante

I came straight from nearly two days flight from Seattle to the Alicante airport, and was certainly not sharp. The proproprietors interpreted my Spanglish, and provided very comfortable and supportive
services which bracketed my very long sleep, and then researched my next destination by calling the local taxi and later walking me to the curb and explaining the the driver my situation. The hostal, while quite inexpensive, was nicely decorated and provided overall first class service. Unfortunately I cannot review breakfast, as I slept through my morning call.
