We had a 5-night stay at this property. It is charming and the staff was very helpful. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch and we enjoyed it a few evenings. The breakfast was also nice and to have table service and a hot breakfast was welcomed. My only suggestions would be to provide down pillows as the bamboo ones were too firm and created neck strain and the regular pillows were quite lumpy. I would also recommend updating the lighting in the room and bathroom or replace the bulbs with a brighter higher watt bulb as the room and bathroom were dark, even with the lights on. One final recommendation would be to expand parking for overnight guests as it was challenging each evening to find available parking. Street parking was always available; however, that came with a charge. One evening, a staff member agreed to move their vehicle so that we could park and while we greatly appreciated that, I think there's an opportunity here to improve things. Enjoyed the stay overall.

I have stayed at Harbour House many times but hadn’t been there for a few years. Staff were amazing and the grounds were well maintained. The only thing I noticed is that the rooms are looking a little’tired’; not the high standard I came to associate with the hotel. Our bathroom sink was cracked and the furniture had many gouges. A refresh is needed

I was very impressed with Harbour House. The room was a nice size and clean and the staff was friendly and polite. The free breakfast was fabulous with a variety of foods - all of which were very good and staff were very attentive. I also liked that it was in an area a few blocks from the main streets so it was quiet and close to the lake. I will definitely stay there again.

Downtown NOTL was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel....very convenient. The hotel also had a shuttle available to run guests into town and pick up in town as well. The breakfast was good too. My husband and I have stayed at the Harbor House Hotel two times now, and will definitely return. The staff was great; very friendly. The breakfasts were amazing, and the room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Also loved having an espresso maker! Amazing breakfast with wonderful staff. The breakfast sure beat the powdered eggs and heat and serve sausage patties at a big chain. We had a lovely room. Only issue was the faucet for the shower was failing and so it was increasingly difficult to set the temp without being scalded. I let the front desk know at check out and they were on the phone to maintenance as I walked away! I’m looking forward to staying here again late fall when I return for work.

Our room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The reception area was cozy and decorated so nicely. The breakfast was a delight. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel and i would definitely book another stay there in the future.
