We were greeted by a friendly host, which was one positive aspect. However, the air conditioning was not functional (with no response from the owner when we inquired about it), beds were very soft and uncomfortable and there were no soaps or shampoos provided in the room. The doors/windows in the room were also not in the best condition, so you felt like they were going to break if you opened them to let some air in (see above, AC not working). The breakfast spread was nothing to get excited over. We decided to head down the street for breakfast at a local cafe for the same price instead. We were also disappointed in the information provided by the b&b. The owner helpfully told us that the shuttle from the free parking lot up to the town was running on Sunday; we waited for over half an hour for the shuttle only to realize it was not running. Overall it was clean but very lacking.

This bed and breakfast was great. There are actually two locations a few blocks from each other. We stayed at their spillover B&B, which was very charming, with a lovely room layout and some antique furnishings. It was a 3 flight walk-up but provided an electric luggage lifter for convenience. We had a lovely balcony with a local view. The main B&B is where the delicious breakfast was served. Words cannot describe the amazing atmosphere of the common area, with meandering rooms with stone walls and arched ceilings; beautiful fresh furnishings and lighting. It is a family run place and they treat you like family; warm and friendly. They were very helpful as well. The only improvement I could see is a good sweeping of litter outside the building. There was even a parking spot. Enna was a fabulous place to visit and this B&B was relaxing and charming.

Sicily Trip 2014

My husband, whose parents were both born and raised in Sicily, myself and our twin 7 yr old daughters, travelled from the USA to Sicily this July for a family wedding in the Palermo province, and then to do some tourist-based travel. We drove a rental car, and came to Enna from Realmonte. I found Centro Sicilia on Expedia, and it's rates are a great value. Expedia warned me that the B&B is difficult to find, and that was true. However, it is much easier if you know that this B&B is an additional property to Centro B&B/Prosperino down the street, and which was very easy to find. So you could always pop in to Centro/Prosperino, and they would be able to settle you at Centro Sicilia. Our room was amazing-tasteful, roomy, bathroom was big, shower was big with a very good shower head. The room had a balcony with a lovey view of the Florence-like rooftops of Enna, and some distant views. Be aware that when you arrive, you press the door buzzer, which remotely contacts the owner or his son at the Centro/Prosperino and they then walk or drive over to open the door for you-be patient-it is pleasant there. You then walk up 5 flights of stairs to the 2 top floors which are the B&B property. Your baggage, however, and thankfully, rides a dumbwaiter so you do not have to carry it! All in all a neat arrangement. Breakfast was at the Prosperino property, and is held in most impressive and beautiful rough stone rooms. You will understand when you see them. Lovely!!

It is not a hotel but a B&B! We missed the check-in time and couldn't get in. Nobody picked up the phone, so we had to find a different accommodation. Not funny at all!

We saw two units in two different buildings--first was rather high up without elevator except for luggage, second was lovelier where we had lovely breakfast. Very friendly family. Wish we'd stayed in first for overall convenience.

Friendly B&B in the centre of Enna

We were a family of three and stayed just one night in March.When we arrived it was dark, pouring with rain and and foggy and the B&B proved very difficult to find. It consists of the upper floors of a block of flats and has only a small sign outside, and the town is a warren of narrow streets. Once located however the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we had a very spacious room with a view out over the rooftops of the old town. It is located very centrally, just off the main street, and there was street parking nearby - although we had to pay a small amount for this during the day. Breakfast was in another nearby B&B owned by the same people and was very pleasant. Altogether we would recommend Centro Sicilia to anyone spending a few days in Enna.

Wir bekamen zuerst eine grössere Suite als reserviert, wunderbare Aussicht, Dachgeschoss. Leider versagte am Nachmittag die Klimaanlage und der Besitzer ( nicht im Haus) konnte sie nicht flicken. Daher schliefen wir in der Nacht sehr schlecht - Fenster zu zu heiss, Fenster offen,das Gejohle der Ausgänger bis Morgens um drei, inklusive Motorradlärm. Morgens um fünf eine Taube die auf dem Dach unmittelbar über uns für gut 2 Stunden laut gurrte... Zum Glück bekamen wir am nächsten Tag das Zimmer welches wir reserviert hatten. Dort schliefen wir gut, die Klimaanlage funktionierte, man konnte verdunkeln und das Dach mit den Tauben war nicht über uns. Parkieren konnten wir gratis auf der Piazza Garibaldi (Ankunft Samstagmittag).

Die Zimmer waren wirklich toll eingerichtet,sogar mit einem Balkon. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich durfte mir sogar ein Zimmer auswählen. Die Suche nach einem Parkplatz hat sich etwas schwierig gestaltet. Aber sogar dabei wurde uns geholfen. Und auch ein tolles Restaurant wurde uns empfohlen.

très difficile à trouver

impossible d'y accéder sans passer un coup de fil ( avec 2 GPS) et quand une personne vient nous chercher sur la place voisine, elle nous demande si nous allons à l'hôtel BRISTOL. Elle continue d'attendre et nous aussi avant de rappeler l'hôtel pour enfin comprendre que le centro sicilian est en fait à l'intérieur même de l'hôtel Bristol.

Wir hatten eigentlich das Centro Sicilia für unseren Aufenthalt in Enna gewählt, aus irgendeinem Grund wurden wir ins Hotel Bristol verfrachtet. Zunächst war alles sehr freundlich, vor allem das Personal. Gefunden wurde unsere Buchung erst nicht, obwohl alle Daten von meiner Seite vorlagen. Irgendwann klappte das endlich. Die Zimmer sind nett, der Parkplatz nur mit sehr viel Glück vor dem Haus. Beim Frühstück wurden wir jede Minute gefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten, das war viel zu aufdringlich. Bei der Abreise vergas der ältere Herr an der Rezeption, uns unsere Pässe zurückzugeben. Diese zurückzubekommen war nur mit einem harschen E-Mail-Verkehr, unangenehmen - gebrüllten - Telefonaten mit Drohungen und der Zahlung von 25 Euro zu machen (tatsächliche Kosten: 8,20 €). So geht man nicht mit Kunden um! Nie wieder dorthin!

Séjour pour la deuxième fois dans cet établissement. La disponibilité et l'efficacité de Luca sont remarquables et il nous a dépannés en 1/2 journée d'un incident qui aurait pu gâter tout notre séjour, et que nous n'aurions su arranger sans lui.Service très agréable.

Wir kamen am Abend bei strömendem Regen am Hotel Centro Sizilia an, hatten vorher telefonisch erfahren, dass wir uns bei Ankunft melden sollten, da Besitzerin nicht immer da sei.
Dann kam die nette Besitzerin und führte uns zu Hotel Bristol, das nur ca 150 m entfernt liegt und deutlich neuer war als Centro Sizilia von aussen.
Das Zimmer war sauber und angenehm, gross genug, die Besitzerin sehr nett, die Rezeption dort besetzt. Das Frühstück gut und angenehm.
Einen Parkplatz vorm Haus haben wir leider nicht bekommen, aber wir hatten schon beim Hotel Centro Sizilia einen Parkplatz gefunden.

Abbiamo dormito una notte,ma non in questo hotel perchè saremmo stati da soli in tutto l'edificio e perciò i proprietari ci hanno spostato in un'altra struttura molto bella e originale sempre in centro città,peccato su una strada trafficatissima,ma la camera (bella)era indisturbata.Il parcheggio gratuito si trovava a 200 m. dalla casa in una zona del belvedere meravigliosa.Colazione abbondantissima e anche di più.Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Wir haben 2 Zimmer gebucht, das eine war gut, aber das andere nicht so schön, zwar schmackhaft eingerichtet, aber das Bad sollte renoviert werden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schwer zu finden. Frühstück, Parkplatz sowie das Zimmer liegen auf der unterschiedlichen Straße. Aber es ist nicht weit von einander. Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön.

Petit B&B bien caché

Le plus difficile a été de trouver ce gîte, ensuite, ce fut de stationner.
En plus, il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir. Je ne sais trop comment il a fait, mais un voisin a réussi à rejoindre un des propriétaires.
On a aussi appris à ce moment que nous avions 6 étages à grimper, heureusement sans les bagages qui bénéficiaient, eux, d'un monte-charge.
Une fois installée, nous avons bien profité de la chambre et de sa localisation.
En plus, nous prenions le petit déjeuner dans un sous-sol, magnifiquement aménagé.

Das \"Hotel Centro Sicilia\" besteht aus einem Zimmer im Dachgeschoss eines Wohnhauses. Um ein Hotel handelt es sich gar nicht. Wenn man ankommt, ist die Tür des heruntergekommen wirkenden Hauses verschlossen. Man benötigt Geduld, bis auf das Klingeln reagiert wird. Das Frühstück findet in einem etwa 200 m entfernten Bed & Breakfast statt. An sich ist das Frühstück gut. Allerdings artet es rasch in eine Werbeveranstaltung für lokale Produkte aus. Wehrt man sich nicht, hat man im Handumdrehen allerlei Marmeladen, Pestos und Kuchen auf dem Teller, die man eigentlich gar nicht mag. Dieses Hotel sollte man nur wählen, wenn man Enna unbedingt sehen möchte und kein anderes Hotel mehr frei ist.

Erittäin hyvä kokemus. Ennan rajojen sisäpuolelle tultaessa navigaattoriin ei voi enää luottaa, mutta eksyneet turistit haettiin toiselta puolelta kaupunkia ja ohjattiin kaupungin ainoalle ilmaiselle parkkikselle. Koko vierailun ajan palvelu oli ystävällistä, henkilökohtaista ja kaiken huomioon ottavaa.

Spartanskt men stort och bra läge

Hotellet ser inte mycket ut för världen utanpå men rummen är stora - vårt var gigantiskt - och rena. Att inte alla fyra sängarna hade samma linne var nästan lite charmigt. Hotellet har ett ypperligt läge och vårt rum hade kungsbalkong (tre utgångar). Dock saknas hiss (finns bagagehiss men inte människodito) och hotellet börjar på plan 4 eller plan 5 - så rörelsehindrade får det svårt.

Al B&B Centro Sicilia sicilia siamo stati una sola notte ma possiamo dire che ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e inoltre la stanza era molto accogliente e pulita. Il posto è buono, a pochi minuti dal castello anche a piedi. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e se torneremo ad Enna, prenderemo sicuramente questo B&B in considerazione di nuovo.
