Gorgeous Kokomo

We were made so welcome from the minute we stepped off the boat. Hasan and Wayang the Manager were so gracious. In fact all the staff were faultless. The resort was peaceful, friendly and beautiful. We had memorable meals overlooking the sea, in fact all the food was excellent.
Massages were good and we left the resort feeling rested, relaxed and rejuvenated.

Kokomo has gorgeous, tastefully decorated villas, some with their own private garden and plunge pool. The rooms have mini bars stocked with drinks and appealing snacks. The restaurant is very good. The service is superb.

Kokomo review

Perfect!

We were looking for an island getaway which gave us peace and tranquility, but with all the usual comforts! This place provided that and more!

From the moment we booked, the communication was superb, they arranged everything for us including transfers from our previous stay and then back to the airport. This was the least stressful trip to organise ever!

We were greeted on the jetty with the warmest welcome and the hospitality didn’t stop for the rest of our stay! Nothing was too much trouble, and even when we asked for things they don’t provide- spear fishing- they found someone who could and again arranged it all.

Wayan, the manager was brilliant and was always sure to check we had all we needed. The food is amazing- and very reasonably priced- they grow much of their own salads for the kitchen and you can even take a look around the veg gardens. The villas are the best we’ve seen, right down to the bamboo sheets! The pool villa was outstanding. The staff are super friendly, and all local, giving quiet insights into island life. All the locals say hi and seem happy to meet tourists!

The gym is more than adequate, and there is an island 5k loop for the more active travellers- beautiful at sunrise! The staff even arranged for us to have dinner at the end of the jetty on our final night- perfect!

Don’t hesitate to book this place, you won’t regret it. We will be sure to be back! I don’t see how you could beat it!

Absolutely amazing! I have no complaints. The staff, facilities, food and atmosphere were perfect. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend that anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing and luxurious stay in/around Bali should stay here.

The staff were even kind enough to bring me a cake on my birthday, which was very much appreciated.

Luxurious & Romantic Snorkel / Kayak Getaway

We booked 4 nights and had a complimentary upgrade to a luxurious pool villa. Service was perfect, the staff would make suggestions to make our life more convenient, like having breakfast in our villa. Even though it was rainy season, we had 2 days of all sunshine, and the other 2 days where it was sunny in the morning but showers in the afternoon. So we could still go out every day and kayak and snorkel.

The chef is amazing, unbelievable we could get this quality on a remote island near Lombok. We ate, drank, and had multiple massages -- and the bill was very reasonable in the end. Came back relaxed and refreshed.

This is a great place for couples. I went for my birthday and we had a romantic dinner at the end of the pier and a yummy chocolate cake!

Villas are very well designed with excellent features including filtered hot and chilled water.

Wonderful family hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay at Kokomo on Gili Gede! Gili Gede is a remote island- not much on it- and the hotel did a wonderful job providing all the right conditions to either do nothing (lounge by a pool and eat at hotel) or lots of activities (boats, kayaks, SUP boards, etc). Perfect for a family!

Best hotel in Bali Island

We went to Bali for our honeymoon. We picked Kokomo without knowing much about the hotel and the area. They surprised us in every possible way. Service and people were outstanding. Each and every need was addressed with smile. You can feel the warmth of their welcome as soon as you arrive. We were upgraded right away. They arranged a romantic dinner by the jetty on our last night.

If you want a seclusion and relaxation in that part of the world, this is it. Keep in mind, there is only one boat to the island. If you miss that boat, you are out of luck. You have to wait for the next day.

Thank you Kokomo! This is truly a special place. When you are there you know it's something special and unique but when you leave and stay elsewhere you realise just how amazing it really was and nothing on our trip came anywhere near! The villas are immaculate and beautiful and designed thinking of everything! The staff make your stay with their smiles, service and friendliness and the food and service is just stunning! Every meal presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Book the pool villa to experience the utmost luxury for very little more. The beach isn't the best but the hotel and nearby village and the people there give you a.unique lombok experience. I wish I could live there forever and would definitely return!

Really enjoyed our three night stay here; the villa and pool were really nice. Staff were very attentive and the food was really good. Would definitely recommend. Also refreshing to stay at a hotel that really cares about the environment and local villages - they not only support the local villagers with electricity but also have helped to provide jetty's to further protect the coral of the island and my husband was invited to watch the work being undertaken - Wayan, Azmer, Sofryan, Rian, Mouldie, Petros and Sukran were all excellent and couldn't help enough.

Relax and be spoiled by the best staff ever!

We stayed 6 nights at this resort in a private pool villa. We loved every second of it! The villa is beautiful; elegantly decorated, huge rooms, comfortable bed with the best bamboo bedding ever! Not to forget the big pool with total privacy!
But the best thing about the place, is the staff. They are smiling, attentive and makes you feel totally pampered. The food tastes and looks great and the service is amazing.
Gili Gede is a very slow, little island perfect for relaxing. The beach isn't the best, but they will take you on a short boat trip to some excellent snorkeling off nearby islands. You can use the kayaks and paddle boards for free.
Sadly, the global problem with plastics, becomes very apparent in this paradise (and others like it). The resorts manager, Wayan, tries to do something about it by educating the locals and collect and transport the plastic waste. They also use bamboo straws and water dispensers instead of plastic. I applaude their effort!

Pure Luxury in Paradise

This was an amazing find for our honeymoon. The private villa with pool was immaculate with outdoor shower and all done to such a high quality we would have never dreamed to stay somewhere like this on a little remote island. The service was top quality, starting with a welcome email after booking asking what our pillow and sheet preferences were really set the stage....and the sheets did not disappoint! For any foodies looking for amazing meals on a picturesque island than this is your spot. Momma Norma organized local Beef Rendang for us which we will be dreaming of for a long time now (but their imported Australian beef was tondiebforbas well). Rian provided a wealth of entertainment in the restaurant and loved teasing us...especially when we kayaked around the whole island (which took 2.5 hours!) Wayan assisted with daily trip plans and transfers which was great and made everything so easy, as well as organizing a romantic surprise for us. All in all...we left feeling like we were leaving a family that had taken unbelievable care of us throughout our whole stay. They even encouraged us after our gym workouts :-) They are running a top class operation with all the cozy feel of a family business. Their staff are all so caring and genuinely hope to improve your stay in any way. We hope to be able to visit again and bring friends and family!
Thank you all at Kokomo for making our honeymoon truly special.

Unique and very comfortable tiny island experience

Amazing team and stunning little island. Very private yet an interesting peek into authentic island life. We loved the wide open view, tennis, and watersports. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Dining is quite romantic, the team goes through great length giving you a wonderful experience.
Private villas are high-end minimalist and very comfortable including silky soft bamboo cotton sheets. Highly recommended!

My wife spent the second half of our honeymoon at this simply stunning resort.

From the moment we set foot on the pier at Ko Ko Mo we were literally treated like long lost family. The check in was smooth and we were provided with a welcome drink ( a rather large beer and a cocktail for the wife) and then directed to our room/palace. The villa's (we had a one bedroom with private pool) are simply stunning and the display we had on our bed as it was our honeymoon was beautiful (see the picture!).

The food is also stunning; breakfast is a choice of 5 or 6 different breakfast options ranging from the very healthy to the traditional English. Lunch is delivered from an all day menu, all of which are very plentiful and delicious and dinner is the crowning glory with specials on the menu every day so that you don’t get bored of the same food. The prices are all very reasonable – a beer works out to about 3 quid and food is all in line with English prices, for the most part they are much cheaper.

The thing is, all of this is completely secondary to the quite wonderful staff that work here from top down. Tony and Matthew who own the place are both brilliant. They make a special effort to interact with every guest they have. Tony who is permanently based there is the typical friendly cockney and bends over backwards for all his guests. Raka deserves a special mention as well for being the joker but all of the staff are superb, a stunning stunning resort

Idyllic Island Getaway

Wow, a beautiful resort in an idyll spot. It's the perfect spot to relax or enjoy all that Gili Gede has to offer. The island is quiet and peaceful (no cars) and the villagers couldn't be more friendly. The resort is close to perfect, the staff efficient, attentive and welcoming. The restaurant offers great food in a romantic beach side spot. We will be back to Ko Ko Mo!

Fantastiskt boende. Vi bodde i en bungalow vid stranden. Fräsch och rymlig och OK snorkling direkt vid bryggan.
Tyvärr är ön till stor del som en soptipp. Skräp överallt. ”ATM” som finns på ön är ett skämt! se till att ha med tillräckligt med kontanter för mat och aktiviteter om du inte vill betala överpris på kontantuttag eller på korttransaktioner.

Kokomo hotel Ile Gili Gede

Nous avons passé 3 nuits sur l’île de Gili Gede et le Kokomo hôtel était vraiment top ! Tous les services nécessaires étaient excellents et il y avait de petits restaurants locaux accessibles à proximité. Trois nuits sont largement suffisantes car l’île est petite et n'est pas du tout développée, ce qui en fait un lieu idéal pour se reposer loin de l’agitation.

Gros bémol : aucune plage n’est aménagée même pour simplement poser sa serviette car il y a beaucoup de coraux morts sur les plages et malheureusement beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup trop de déchets partout.

Superbe villa avec piscine privée

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit mais aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. Notre villa 2 chambres avec piscine privée était magnifique et trés confortable. L hotel est situé juste en face de la jetée des bateaux navettes de giligetaway qui arrivent sur gili gede depuis bali, et qui permet également de partir sur les autres iles autour , ce qui est très pratique ! Nous n'avons que très peu visitée l ile de gili gede car nous ne passions qu une nuit et avions envie de profiter de notre somptueuse villa mais cela a l'air très joli. Il y a plusieurs balades à pied que vous pouvez faire depuis l'hôtel et qui vous amène vers des plages désertes. A savoir, la baignade en mer n est pas trop propice devant l hotel mais il y a la piscine et ils proposent plein d'excursions snorkeling aux alentours qui sont tres faciles à faire.

Kokomo Resort ist absolut großartig. Wunderschöne Lage, sehr ruhig. Die Villen sind großzügig und modern konzipiert und ausgestattet. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr köstlich. Auch lokale Speisen, ausgezeichnet zubereitet. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

のんびり、ゆったり島時間を楽しむ場所

ギリ三島よりものんびりできそうなgili gude、この施設を見つけて今回プール付きヴィラに2泊しました。

【アクセス】ロンボク島の離島の中でもかなり小さい部類のgude等の船着場すぐの場所にあるリゾート施設です。小さい子供がいたので飛行機を利用し片道100万ルピアでホテル送迎をお願いしましたが、ロンボク空港から船着場まで1時間以上ガタガタ道を走りかなり疲れました。
バリ島から直接高速船でくるルートもあるかと思います。grabなどもあるので行きはそれを利用して船着場に向かい、ボートだけ依頼した方が安いかもしれませんがなんせ田舎なので帰りの空港までの車厳しいと思います。心配な方は少し高いですが送迎をお勧めします。船着場からはボートで5分ほどですが、疲れ切った体も蘇るほどの素晴らしい施設でした。
【お部屋】
真っ白な壁に咲き乱れるブーゲンビリアと青空のコントラスト、お部屋の雰囲気も良くプール付きのヴィラでしたがゆったりと過ごせました。ちょこちょこ虫が出ますのでそこはご注意を。個人的にはベッドリネンがとても肌触りが良く心地よかったです。
【レストラン】
一箇所ですが朝だけではなく昼晩メニューも豊富で楽しめます。周りにはお店ほぼありません。ホテルなので少し値は張りますが一皿がボリューミーで何でも美味しくとても満足できます。またお水も進んで提供してくださるのであまりお酒を飲まない方や、小腹が空いた時に特にドリンクを頼まないといけない雰囲気はありません。レンタサイクルで一度近隣ホテルのカフェを利用しましたが値段は同等、ココモの方が美味しかったです。
【周辺】
普通に周りに民家がたくさんあり島の人たちと交流が楽しめます。みんな穏やかで人懐っこく親切な方々でした。子供も多いので子供同士の交流も見ていて楽しそうでした。レンタサイクルはありますが道はガタガタ、なんせ暑いので目的がなければあまりお勧めしません。バリ島には何度も行っていますが全く違う雰囲気でゆったりとした時間の過ぎ方を感じられます。
【スタッフ】
本当にみなさんとても親切で三日間と短い間でしたが心地よく滞在できました。困っていたら進んで手伝ってくれますし、子供の相手もしてくれます。フレンドリーでアットホームな島の雰囲気そのまんまの接客でもてなして頂けました。小さいホテルなので要望をお伝えするとすぐに対応してくれるのもいいところでした。
【少しですがマイナス点】
・海外プールやヴィラのプールにあるあるですが水深がかなり深めです（150cm位）当たり前ですがお子様連れはご注意ください。水深は一括管理で変えられないようです。
・プール付きのヴィラでしたがまさかのバスタブ無しでした。あるタイプのヴィラもあるようですがプール付きのものではありませんでした。
・半海水で真水は出ません。小さい島で真水は大変貴重だそうで水道水は半海水、シャワーやプールもそうです。私も子供も特に気になりませんでしたが元々お肌の弱い方はご注意ください。
・一番辛かったのはWi-Fiが弱すぎたことです。つなぐたびに毎度毎度ログインし直すのも大変でした。ホテルのシステムのせいなのか、島自体が電波弱いのかはわかりません。
・どのルートでも酔いやすい方はかなりの確率で地獄かと思いますので対策は万全に。またアクセス的に時間がかかるので最低2泊、個人的には次回は4泊くらいしたいと思ってます。それ以上だと食事少し飽きるかも。

必ずまた伺いたい場所です。本当にお世話になりました。

Sehr komfortable Häuser, teils mit eigenem Pool. Absolut freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, immer bemüht, den Aufenthalt so perfekt wie möglich zu machen. Das Hotel sorgt auch für Umweltschutz und besitzt eigene Gewächshäuser. Die Räume sind nach Feng Shui eingerichtet. Auf der Insel ist sonst nicht viel geboten, daher ist Entspannung angrsagt.

Hôtel confortable dans une petite île préservée loin de toute agitation. Le personnel est très prévenant et agréable. Le fresh fruits bowling est un délice du breakfast.
À faire : Tour de l’ile en bateau, un peu de snorkeling et farniente. La population locale - pêcheurs essentiellement- vit à proximité et il n’est pas rare que leurs animaux , poules et chèvres viennent se promener devant l’hôtel ce qui donne un côté sympathique et dépaysant.

静かに過ごしたい人にはぴったりの島

3泊しました。1泊目はビーチフロントヴィラ、2泊目以降はプライベートプール付きのヴィラに宿泊しました。最初のヴィラのトイレの流れが悪かったので、それを伝えたところアップグレードしてもらえました。
シャワーは海の水が混じっている感じでした。
カップル、家族向けのリゾートで、一人で来ているのは私しかいなかったのですが、本を読んだり、昼寝をしたり本当にゆっくり過ごせました。
ちなみに、到着した初日はアジア人は、私一人のみ。
アイランドホッピングやスノーケリング、カヤックも出来ます。自転車の貸し出しもあるのですが、自転車で行ける範囲は本当に限られてるので、徒歩で十分です。
朝食は結構ボリュームがあったので、朝、夜の二食で十分でした。
食事のメニューはバラエティーに富んでいるので、飽きないとは思いますが、隣の別のホテルで食事を取ることも可能だと思います。
ちなみに、周りにスーパー等はなく、地元のよろず屋みたいな物のみです。飲み物やスナックが売ってます。
また、こちらのホテルはプラスチック製品を排除しており、水は部屋備え付けのウォーターサーバーからです。アイランドホッピングに行かれたい場合は、マイボトルを持ってくるか、ホテルのフロントで購入となります。
喧騒から離れ、ゆっくり、静かに過ごしたい人には最適です。
