Our stay was perfect from start to finish! From the start the staff were all so helpful- Demetria before our trip helping us to pre plan and when we were there Irene was so lovely and helpful with everything and so kind! Thank you so much. My wife and I visited Emerald Villas & Suites in late September. We felt like we were on a postcard in the Ionian Islands. Perched on the cliffs, these stone-built luxury villas and suites are nothing short of serenity, indulgence, and soul-stirring beauty! Our first Impression is like the warmth that wraps around you like a sunset, which you will immensely enjoy! It has beautiful panoramic sea views with exquisite traditional Greek stone architecture with cozy/contemporary elegance. The Villas are blissfully secluded, yet steps from adventure! The area feels authentically Greek with sleepy tavernas serving fresh grilled octopus and meze, winding paths with amazing views, and virtually zero crowds. At check-in, we were greeted by Irene, our host. She walked us through the villa, sharing insider tips on hidden coves and sunset spots, and places to eat that offer delivery to our front door. It was the kind of welcome that wasn't service, but heartfelt hospitality. She made us feel like family...she was phenomenal! Emerald Villas & Suites didn't just host us, we left there with sun-kissed skin, hearts full, and a piece of Zakynthos etched into our souls. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Spectacular views, beautiful property, a perfect place to unwind and relax. The on site team are super on comms and so helpful with any restaurant bookings or requests.

To make this location even better, it would be nice to have an on site bar / cafe rather than having to drive somewhere each time.

Also it is a high end property (self catering), therefore you would expect a few more provisions offered ie top ups of coffee pods for the machine, provision of condiments ie salt/pepper, olive oil, proper milk (not sachets), daily bottle of water. For the price point of the accommodation, this should be provided. Then it would be perfect!

We had an incredible stay at Emerald Villas. Staff were very helpful and recommended and booked a table for our anniversary meal and left a cute surprise in our room!
You can ask for your room to be cleaned during the day. We mainly decided to have it cleaned while we popped over to Alikanas for lunch.
The pool was salt water, which was a nice suprise as I hate chlorine!

I can't find any faults with the room. The bed was comfortable, pool was clean and the view was stunning!

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed this property. Customer service is top notch. They can arrange anything you want to do or place to eat. The suites are well designed and the patios are amazing. You are on the side of the mountain overlooking the whole island out onto the ocean. Highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. A lasting tip. Take the shuttle to the property from airport. Like $79 euros. Then have the office arrange you a rental car. Only $35 euros a day. Having your own car saves you money and allows you to explore the island at your own pace.

Great stay in the Deluxe Villa

We had the Deluxe Villa and it was really good. Exactly as described.

The service was excellent with wonderful staff. Great communication and very responsive to requests. They set up a WhatsApp chat when we arrived which we could use to communicate with reception, which is down the hill. The front desk responded almost instantly to sort whatever we needed.

The villa was very well stocked with kitchen implements/appliances and dishes and utensils. Just know you do need to bring anything perishable or disposable (eg you need to supply your own cooking oil, salt/pepper, paper towels, etc). They provided enough charcoal and lighter cubes for at least three barbecues though, which was great! The house was spotlessly clean every day.

There really was everything you need for a fun group holiday - eg a great sound system inside and outside, a few games, Smart TVs etc.

Emerald Villas- an absolute gem.

Emerald Villas is a wonderful place to stay. Communication before arrival was excellent. We had to submit our details along with ETA and these were acknowledged along with details of how to get to the property from the airport. These instructions were spot on and we found the place easily. Christina was waiting outside of reception as we pulled up. She showed us to our villa and gave us great information on everything we needed to know and they were always on hand at reception if needed. We did not need anything during our stay. The cleaners came daily at a convenient time to us and did a great job. The classic villa was perfect; roomy and comfortable. The outside space is stunning with a spectacular view. The October weather was perfect and we used the BBQ twice. The nearby restaurants were lovely. The pool is unheated and so had to get in slowly but once in and swimming it was perfect. The area the villa is in is quiet and relaxing and a car is very useful to see the island or go shopping at a resort (Alkynes) about 30 mins away. However it is possible to walk into the port of Agios Nikolaos which we did a couple of times but be prepared for the uphill walk back! The time we spent at Emerald Villas was amazing and we felt so relaxed after our holiday and did not want to come home! Can’t wait to return sometime.

Excellent views of the beautiful coastline on the northern part of the island. Villa is spectacular with only one criticism that the pool is not heated. Otherwise the property was incredible. Area is a little quiet, with no good supermarkets, but the scenery is incredible.

We stayed in the panoramic suites for 7 nights. It was amazing! The villa was lush and beautifully decorated! The infinity pool was just a dream! The whole layout was just perfect!
We didn’t hire a car but Aggelos was ever so helpful with giving us lifts to the mini market down by the port and looked after us beyond our expectations! He was just so nice and welcoming when we checked in too!
He arranged a trip to Shipwreck Beach viewpoint for us to take some amazing pictures and watch the sunset! Wow! We were definitely amazed and that was one of the highlights of our stay! I want to thank Aggelos and Luis so much for being so kind, caring and their helpfulness was really appreciated. It’s so nice to get a 5 star service when you don’t expect it!
We would recommend these villas to everyone, and would definitely go back again!
I miss this place already!

A place to relax and chill

The Suite is 5-min drive away from Agios Nikolaos (small beach port), the nearest to catch a boat to the Shipwreck beach.

Inside the Suite, a large bed, bathroom comes with Korres (brand) shower gel and shampoo, hairdryer, with a compact kitchen area, standard size fridge & freezer, kettle, etc. you've all your need for a comfy getaway. Highlight is the infinity pool, with a sun-bed, deckchairs, sun-umbrella, outdoor table and chairs, etc. huge outdoor space. Each standard Suite is directly facing East, you can watch sun rise laying in bed.

Aggelos, the manager who looked after the Suites, gave us the warmest welcome and made our stay special.

Fantastic villas plenty of outdoor space and lovely pool, staff fantastic, cleaned every day, given a late checkout without asking, taxis arranged for airport pick up and drop off, 55 euros each way, which worked out cheaper than paying extra to hire a car big enough to take all of our luggage! If you plan to stay local the supermarket is expensive so plan to bring as much as you can such as tea, coffee, pasta, cereal, snacks and crips for the kids.
Restaurant opposite villas is lovely and family friendly, also have a great delivery service if you don’t fancy going out. Worth walking to is Madrakia Snack Cafe, gorgeous setting and reasonably priced, family friendly.

We decided to treat ourselves while visiting this stunning Greek island, and Emerald Villas was a great way to do it. There are less than ten villas in this complex, and the layout gives each enough space/privacy so you can enjoy the peace and surrounding views of blue ocean and greenery. Our two-floor unit had a perfectly-sized private pool and patio and amenities such as a full set of glassware/dishware, outdoor grill and a washing machine, as well as a jetted tub, en-suite shower and a terrace upstairs; it was a great little getaway. Staff are very responsive but not intrusive, and the restaurant at the foot of the hill was friendly with quick delivery if you'd rather stay in. As for Zakynthos, Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves are world-famous for a reason. It's a short walk down to the port of Agios Nikolaus, where ferries to neighboring Kefalonia depart and charter boats to the Beach and Caves are easily arranged. Wonderful visit! Strongly recommend.

Happy honeymoon!!

Me and my wife have just come back from spending our honeymoon at Emerald Villas and it was absolutely superb. The transfer from the airport was simple, and the staff at Emerald Villas were incredibly welcoming once we arrived. The person in charge of looking after the suites we stayed in was a chap named Aggelos, and he could not do enough for us. After a couple of days of relaxation we realised that we were going to need a car to get around the island and do the things we needed to do, so we went to Aggelos who had one delivered within 3 hours!
There is plenty of choice for food and drink within walking distance and a short trip down to the port, and again the bars and restaurants are friendly, welcoming and will cook you up a great meal for very reasonable prices! You can get boat trips from the port to the famous shipwreck beach which I would highly recommend and there are plenty of beautiful little beaches and coves to go for a swim in the clear waters, all within 25 minutes of the suites.
The housekeeping staff were also extremely friendly, and kept the suites incredibly clean for us during our stay. If you want a luxurious getaway I would 100% recommend Emerald Suites to anyone!

Better than the pictures!

We have just returned from 10days at Emerald suites. From booking to check out the experience was fantastic. Good communication with the accommodation prior to arrival sending information on getting to the suites which was really helpful driving from the airport. Located in a peaceful setting with amazing views. There are just 7 suites here so very quiet but Aggelos is on site in the small office each day to help with any trips you may want to book or anything else you may need for your stay so you don't feel isolated.
I would definitely recommend a car to get to local restaurants or explore the island. Port Nikolas is a few minute drive away where there is the port for ferry to Kefalonia, boat trips to the blue caves and shipwreck beach, a few restaurants and couple of shops. Food in the shops here is quite pricy so would recommend if wanting to self cater (which we did a number of days) to do a food shop in one of the bigger supermarkets further south on the island (approx. 30minute drive)
Each suite has a private parking space, great facilities, very good Air conditioning, beautifully clean and cleaned daily. Pictures of the accommodation do not do it justice.
Private pool and sun beds great if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend Emerald villa suites.

This place... oh my goodness.... it is beyond dreamy. I can not say enough great things about this place. It is perfection. And, Violet was so kind, gracious, and helpful. It is approx 45 min drive from the airport and at one point it becomes all coastal... so beautiful. I highly recommend renting a car. Although there is not much need to leave this place, the island of Zakynthos has so many magical places to explore! Spend as many days here as possible!!! Do not think twice. Book this hotel.
