Several issues with room. No hang up rod for clothes, old washcloths and towels, stained sink, some outlets didn't work, I couldn't get wifi on my laptop, walls think so heard neighbor steps and loud shower noise late at night. Basic amenities there. No breakfast, no tissues, no hair dryer but borrowed iron. Homeless nearby but wasn't bothered by them.

I booked this for my dad, and when I asked if he wanted the same one on his way back home he said No way!!!! The carpets had things still on the floor (not vacuumed) and the toilet seat was falling off. He’s elderly and they gave him a second level room with a broken elevator. He said it was a hotel like a halfway house.

The room itself wasn't terrible, but the neighborhood was very sketchy and there were people openly doing drugs on the stairs and in the parking lot. I can't fault the staff for anything but the place didn't feel safe. Unless you're truly desperate I'd pay the little bit extra to stay in a better part of town.

This hotel was a very uniquely horrifying experience. There were people hanging around doing drugs in the hallways and on the steps. outside of our hotel, where our car was parked, we were watching a man hovering around and yelling on the phone and staring into our vehicle. I think the worst of all was the pull out mattress was covered in what seems to have resembled piss and blood, and there was no bedding to cover it. I hope this is a qualification for a refund because we couldn’t sleep at all at a one night stay there.

Many things were broken in it, the towel hanger, the door lock for the bathroom, etc. The covers were the bed were also inside out and barely covered the bed. The bed was also extremely squeaky and I felt like I was going to break it if I moved it. The TV also did not work.

The property is in very poor condition. The photos are misleading about the property itself, the location, and its condition. Upon arriving all the doors were locked. There was a sign on a window that red, \"back at 8:30\" and it was past that. I had to yell at the clerk through a slot. I informed him that I would not be staying there because I did not feel safe staying there as there were many people loitering around the parking lot. I had set it up to pay upon arrival and he said it was past 6:00 so that I'd be billed and I should stay anyway. I do not think that's right so I will be lodging a formal complaint and speaking to my credit card agent.

We booked and asked for a non smoking room instead we got the smoking rm and found a cigarette butt next to the bed. Sofas were unclean. Towels looked uncleaned. Lots of homeless encampment near the front side of the hotel. We ended up buying our own blanket and towels.

This hotel has bad lighting. No lights by nightstands.
The hotel has no noise muffling, from the extremely loud freeway. Are comes under the door along with even more noises. The heater is so loud and rattles, you can hardly sleep. The bedspread had cigarette burns on a room which is supposed to be Non-Smoking. The room smelled like a smoking room. You can hear the neighbors shower, sink and toilet water running and it is very loud. The mattress feels as if it could be at least 30 years old, as you can hear and feel the springs. Not a good stay at all.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary, the parking lot had some trash , our room was not cleaned only the bed was made up and bath room looking ok for whoever had to clean it. I do reviews everywhere I go, and look and give recognition where it is deserved. To start the blinds on the window didn't close all the way at one spot the 2 chairs are very dirty and one has urine stains on it. I turned off the light and ran my UV black light all over and it's bad , it needs to be steamed cleaned that chair. I feel management should take pride on his hotel and once in a while do walk around and see how's his staff are doing and making sure that the job is done right and keeping up with the place. I hope this review helps and no disrespect.

I can’t believe Expedia would list this property. It is seriously dilapidated. The walls are disguising on the inside, cigarette burns on the blankets, holes in the door. The area is extremely unsafe. My 1st night coming back to this property there was a sketchy person literally going a #2 next to my door. Needless to say I left after that and booked another property. Do not be fooled by the pictures like I was. It’s nowhere near the waterfront. Be warned! Do not stay here!

The room was decent. Regarding space, the room had two queen beds and a bed within the couch which is suitable for a family of 5. You could tell that it used to be a very nice hotel. There was some damage probably from previous guests. The room had a permanent cigarette smell. The owner was nice at check-in. However, no breakfast or any other services are offered. The owners have cameras and security on site.

Ended up leaving and not staying the night because it was so unsafe and disgusting. There was throw up outside my door when I returned to my room and a group of homeless surrounding the parking lot-presumably from the encampment across the street. The room smelled heavily of smoke and the neighbors next door were blasting music. The tv and air conditioner didn’t work, the floors were filthy and everything stunk horribly. The needle on the staircase was the final straw. Do not stay here.

There Are Better Options

Old and very outdated. There were lots of dents in the front door. We did not feel safe at this location. Surrounded by homeless encampments and you heard traffic from the freeway all night. At least we had hot water, room was clean and the heater worked.

The pictures were deceiving and I only booked this because it was closer to my event venue. I wish I would have stayed with my original hotel. The front desk staff was friendly but only needed to see them for check in and check out. Other than that…stay at your own risk. I’ve never stayed somewhere so run down and dirty. The location was full of homeless and cop activity. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. I later found a burn hole in the blanket. The bathroom fan was duct taped to the ceiling. 5 minutes after getting out of the shower the bottoms of my feet were black. Noisy outside the door all night with lots of activity.

I had moved to this hotel because of the pretty reasonable rates. First day I arrived the bath towels had blood soaked stains and floor towel was dirty. I spoke to the receptionist at the time . She gave a new set and said the house keeper would clean tomorrow and change. Tomorrow came and once returning to hotel. Was not cleaned and gocd for the day. Spoke to asst mgr R. He said the mgr left note. Next day I came back and was verbally abused by the partner of the mgr who used derogatory language and racial slurs. He was obviously intoxicated I had to call 911 and police removed bio after mutiple too vacate premises. I have to tell you I will escalate the treatment I received . Not it mention . This hotel is lined up in a major homeless area. Mc Donald’s and Dennys are close . However drugs and undesirable street people ate full on. It is unfortunate and sad to be honest. I could not recommend this facility in all good consciousness. A shinning note the young housekeeper that cleaned my room finally did an awesome job which I left her a gratuity upon my departure as well as handed her a few bills. The maintenance alcoholic should not be allowed anywhere on the premises. He threatened me with violence. NOT SAFE AT ALL. Honestly!

Hair in the bathtub, tv didn’t work, holes in the wall, dirty, sticky, holes in comforter from cigarette burn. Worst of all which is why we left, after pulling down bedding, there was hair in the sheets and bugs that you could see from standing up.

During check in, I was asked to inspect the room to make sure it was clean and everything was working. The microwave, fridge, remote, tv, etc. The room had a large puddle on floor and my room was changed. We were unable to turn the water on to shower. When we called the front desk, we were aske to call back in half hour and he hung up. The floor and all around the hotel is dirty with trash on floor.

I felt unsafe during the entire stay. People are dealing drugs here, screaming, yelling and playing loud music until 3am.

At first I was given a room that was full of smoke and cockroaches running on a table, with no towels in a room and broken door to the bathroom. I immediately asked for a different room.

I was given a better non-smoking room. The guy said they save these room for nice people.

I wanted to walk around the area but the guy said it’s unsafe unless you are in a car. I did end up walking to the river and to the center and a few times had to run away from strangers.

There are beggars, homeless people and criminals around looking for pray.

There are signs of blood on the floor of the property outside of rooms and on the stairs. Cigarette buds all over.

At night I felt someone might break into my room. The instructions were given to lock the room on deadbolt and the metal lock.

Some woman next to my room was screaming at people outside with an array of curse words, either she is not going to pay or they should pay her.

It’s the worst place I ever stayed at in my life. I regret I didn’t ask for money back right away and left immediately.

My stay was just a normal day until the property manager decided that the bed that was in my room was broken by me and my boyfriend. The bed in the room had a slope in the middle that could only been caused by years of wear on the bed. we could not lay in the bed. I had to sleep on the side of the bed literally on the edge and my boyfriend had to sleep on the couch
then the manager blamed us for the bed damage and it was completely oblivious to the damage that was caused to this bed over time. they would not listen to reason would not listen to anything just kept telling us that we did this we did this. He had complaining about the bed the day we checked in and was told that it would be notated. But the manager seem to think that that had nothing to do with anything that if we had a problem we needed to come downstairs and physically speak to somebody and I explained to him that it was my time but I didn't have to go downstairs and complaining anything on a simple phone call would be fine. So if you go to this hotel check your room thoroughly top to bottom take any pictures that you feel something's off and makes you tell them directly or they won't rent you again and PS they're not getting a dime from me for the bed

First of all checking in they didn’t even ask for ID he just asked my name and gave me a room key I thought that was strange. Didnt even ask for vehicle description. I specifically asked for a non smoking room as I had my two small kids with me. Upon walking into the room it had a strong cigarette smoke odor. The room was dirty even though there were housekeepers cleaning it before we entered. There were stains on the curtains and sofa. The tv didn’t work at all & even if it did it was too old didn’t even have an hdmi port. The coffee maker was unplugged and shoved in a corner. There was a random sink in the room next to the mini fridge. The cabinet around the sink was all broken. The beds were old and very cheap the bed frame had wheels which rolled very easily . The mattress was very hard. The lamps between the beds did not work at all. There were burn marks on a lot of surfaces. The room was stuffy so we turned on the AC unit, strong ciggarette odor came from the unit, when it was night time and we turned on the heat it smelled of urine, so we just left it off. I used a half a bottle of febreze trying to make the room smell better. The outside of the building was sketchy with a lot of homeless and drug addicts. The most ironic part about this stay was the fact that I was travelling with my family so a total of 4 rooms we rented and we had kids with all of us, we got complaints about noise from kids yet there was alot of partying and sketchy traffic from other guests there

The guy behind the desk gave us keys to a first floor room and said \"go check the electrical. Do not touch anything else if the electrical is fine you can have that room\" -odd.

Would not recommend this property to any individual or family due to its unsafe conditions. Homeless around the property, people smoking in the parking lot, rooms dirty, dust on the bed, graffiti inside, locking mechanism does not work, anyone could walk into the room without a key card. Staff did not offer to move us into another room until we asked.
Left after 10 minutes of checking in and did not return. Looked for another hotel.

When I drove up there was a man walking around with a crack pipe. There was a group there that stayed outside around their cars talking smoking and were loud. I stayed only one night even though I had paid for two. It felt very unsafe to be there.

Update this hotel if you want to be a destination.

It could be a great hotel. They stopped investing back into this property obviously. Rooms are sticky and dirty. Towels are thin and leave you covered in lint after you use them. Walls are paper thin. Beds are very uncomfortable. Bed frame is metal and makes load noises all the time. Smoke detector was not installed. Just about everything in this place needs to be redone. Properties dont magically take care or fix themselves.

Called the number on the window and literally got person persecuted for trying to get answers after driving 2 hours to get there. Stayed over night… the make who checked us in had an attitude, hot to our room the door had no lock, roaches/ants everywhere-called the front desk they didn’t care ‘ wouldn’t move us. When we checked out this morning the female had no remorse when I told her but asked that I don’t call & speak with the manager about my stay. Dont waste your money! Only positive is the location is convenient.

Right off freeway, McDonald's, Denny's & gas station two blocks from hotel is the only good thing about this place. Staff is ok, my room was supposed to be a non-smoking room BUT, it smelled like smoke (like the smell is penetrated in the room). Surrounded by homelessness and the area around the hotel was dirty.

First room had two individual kleenex tissues. No lamps. Wait, there was a lamp but no bulb and apparently it was unused since 1954. TV didn't work. Desk guy was weird, treated me like the homeless who camp nearby. I called three times about the TV and he finally showed up, and was defeated by the TV, and almost wordlessly he got me a new room. TV worked but my luggage had to go on the bed to open because there was no side table. Old-fashioned heaters were noisy, but helped drown out the traffic noise.

It was the cheapest package, and not worth even that. The area is not safe. There were signs all over warning you to watch out.

Would I go there again? Sure, if the country turned into Mad Max, this would seem normal.

Cannot emphasize enough - not a good place for saving money. You'll lose sleep (the beds, omg) and be enraged.

I thought I could believe the amenities jacuzzi and sauna bath in room paint scraping on the room coffee pot didn't work hairdryer didn't work patches everywhere not repair .big difference between a patch,and repair 3rd rate patch at that hair in bathtub and in closet area very miss leading

Continent location near old Sacramento town. Great dining near by. Attendant was very helpful, and vigilant. While I was checking in there was a disturbance on the property he took care of quickly. Didn’t find the room up to my standards of clean; but I’ve experienced worse! We had a room with a pull out couch- but there were no linens and it was very dirty! Overall, for the price; it was what I expected. Mostly quiet area with great amenities near by.
